  1. Aaron Rodgers has a higher risk of totally bombing than Jones? Anyway, his "system" relies heavily on Barkley. The Giants totally backed into the playoffs--starting 7-2 and then winning only 2 more games in the second half of the season. "Good situation"? They had 4 wins in the NFC. They won a single game in their division. They were not a good team.
  2. Difference is, when the Knicks stink, the Garden still sells out. Fans don't stay away--prices on secondary market were still crazy. The change in ownership high will fade quickly. I guess so. But why would it make fans more likely to see the team that will be fielded--because when they look toward the owner's box, someone else will be there? This team has many actual problems. Bad man as owner wasn't really one as far as performance is concerned.
  3. No they aren't---there are far too few of them for that to be true. Far more of the economy is funded/grown by institutional investing and tax revenue. Billionaires buying toys aren't a significant stimulus. They've always had that option. It's how the league works.
  4. I don't recognize him in that photo
  5. I really don't know how this changes anything for the fans..
  6. the claim that was made was the he is a good ball tracker, so his catch % shouldn't be a career 53%. In 2019, he caught 3 passes over 40 yards, only 20 total over 20 yards. the guy has had seasons with receptions in the 30's and 40's. That's a guy struggling to get to the ball.
  7. Washington fans cheering wildly, yet when they woke up this AM their team still stinks. No franchise WB and “Riverboat” as HC and Andy Reid’s menu laminator as OC
  8. Interior O-lineman under contract looking to make a power move against Jerry in his 10th season. good luck bro!
  9. It's really not a practical difference. The reaction time is the same and the breaking distance required makes either impossible at those speeds. The 140 is what is tugging at the pearl strings here...
  10. That's my point. Perceptions are driving this mock outrage, not facts.
  11. people on this thread losing their minds over the mph. rest assured had he "only" been doing 100 mph on that highway, the potential damage to life and property would be exactly the same.....but this thread of pure outrage would never have existed.
  12. 12 years to get to 2 games over .500
  13. Was he an usually talented blocker?
  14. Hey, maybe the Vikings will be able to pick up a WR1 in next year's draft, right? Anyway, what's wrong with real speed at WR? Bills could use more...
  15. Seriously. Brown's career shows a guy with often mediocre, sometimes below that catch %. That doesn't speak to great ball tracking.
  16. more like 85%…
  17. Holmes was known for his cylinder, not his rectangular prisms
  18. That's a hair I would need an electron microscope to split..
  19. not for you, but certainly for Holmes.
  20. I know it's discussed a lot, but the dropoff at WR as far as overall production is concerned wasn't, as it turned out, a big downgrade. Crowder seemed like a decent pickup at the time--a legit depth receiver-- (Sanders was done for the league) but he turned out to be another guy who couldn't finish a season. The points scored, passing yards and TDs not significantly different and they won 2 more games. Had they not completely no showed in the playoff game v. Cincy, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation.
  21. Smoke was catching balls at rates of 47, 53, 38, 43% for half of his career (53% total). Caught 1 pass on the last 4 teams he played for.
  22. V = πr2h
