    Good question. Not sure what the Falcons can work out with the post-June 1 cut rules. It may work. Trade scenario certainly may come into play. But if Ryan has nothing left in tank, would those teams be interested?

    Not with a 50 million cap hit. 26.5 million might be possible if they have no one else adding to dead cap.

    I saw from a Yale article that the conversion rate for 4th and 1 was around 65% as of 2015. If the rate is that low, trying to go for it rather than kicking a surer field goal with over 94% success rate was quite dumb. I wouldn't trust any winning percentage analysis at all in that situation.

    Well, Mahomes did pass for 340 yards. I read here that it doesn't matter if your defense has holes. Just pass for 300 yards baby.

    Like a broken record lol. If a team ignores defense , they don’t tend to get very far . What happened to those Bills teams that made the Super Bowl ? Doors get blown off in 3/4 appearances ? Defense doesn’t matter indeed.

    Below are Edwards' stat for each game in 2008. I would say he was mainly efficient during the 4-0 stretch as he had a whopping 4 touchdowns in 4 games.     Bobby Hebert never played here like I stated earlier. Are you referring to another qb named Billy Joe Hobert who was with us for as season or so in late 90s?

    Bobby Hebert played for Saints and a few other teams not including us. I recall he was an ok QB.

    Nice analysis. I can't believe Sam Darnold is so low lol. I remember reading here two years back that he was already way ahead of the other 2018 QBs.

    BOB had a dual threat role as both GM and coach. The questionable trades combined with the 0-4 start accelerated his demise.

    Makes sense. There has been a lot of love for EJ here including claims that Marrone ruined him. He couldn't even hang on to a roster spot for 2nd or 3rd string QB. The fact that EJ quietly retired last year from the NFL to do college football broadcasting despite being only in his late 20s speaks volumes.

    The butt hurt over Marrone bolting is pretty amusing. I don't recall Marrone doing anything that set the team back years . Didn't we also actually have a defensive unit that was pretty decent under his regime.

    Gase and Quinn are likely dead men walking. I don't see Fangio at this point being in trouble because he hasn't really had much to work with. Marrone has actually fielded a competitive team . So he may not be on a hot seat as of now.

    Fair enough, Trubisky was bad. And Wentz hasn't looked good leading the Eagles to 0 wins this season.
