  1. Agreed! Thats what separates Levitre from Wood.. if Wood could stay on the field, he may be getting recognition like this.
  2. Assuming that the guy can still run like he did early in his career I see no reason not to give him a shot. He could provide a lot of versatility in our offense by lining up at different receiving positions.
  3. I think its hard to say that anyone has "reached their potential" after 1 year in the league. Of course he's going to get better at reading defenses and learning how to play with his teammates. I don't see any reason to believe he has already reached his ceiling.
  4. Oh.. and who is going to trade with us for Fitz?
  5. I really couldn't disagree with this more. The guy just broke Marino's record for passing yards.. the NFL record! He has shown absolutely no signs of slowing down and continues to get better and better. The saints would be incredibly stupid not to make him the highest paid QB for the next 3 years. 29 teams in the NFL would kill to have Brees on their teams. Just pay the man and continue to be a contender while he is your QB.
  6. The only thing I really disagree with.. I think the Dolphins CBs should definitely be ahead of the Pats and probably ahead of the Bills as well.
  7. GB Packers top 5: Favre Starr Rodgers Hasselbeck Flynn (I dont know any of the old timers but one of them is probably better than Flynn / Hasselbeck. How many teams even have 1 QB that is better than the top 3 guys on their list? That team has been blessed..
  8. I like choice and think he brings a solid all around game to the table.. I havent really seen anything out of white yet.
  9. I think it would be naive to think that our "savior" at QB is on the roster at this point. I dont see Fitz or Young turning into a top 10 QB.
  10. I hope he's a stud
  11. Boston, MA.. ugh I hate the patriots
  12. Always happy to see an NFL franchise stay put.. good for the people in Minnesota.
  13. Yeaa... that seems too big.
  14. 9-6-1... dare to be different!
  15. So you would rather have a good backup QB or a good #2 WR? Would you rather have Colt McCoy (would be a good backup) or Julio Jones (would be a good #2)
  16. Hahaha you beat me to it.. here's my 2 cents http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A5t5_O8hdA
  17. Vince Young has the most upside of everyone on that list... unfortunately he has the most downside as well
  18. Backup QB? Really? There's a good chance that guy will never even see the field. I would understand listing QB as a whole position, because our starter is not a proven winner, but when you list a backup position as your biggest need I think thats a little bit of a stretch. We have plenty of starters that are less than spectacular (LT, LB, TE, WR). Lets worry about those before we start worrying about backups..
  19. Good news for the Wild Card!
  20. To answer your first question, YES!
  21. Brilliant Monologue.. 2nd to this only.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j2F4VcBmeo
  22. Well I'm not the one who compared him to McNair.. you did. Obviously he isn't as good as Steve McNair. Vince Young just played a whole year in Philadelphia and no one was clamoring for him to be the starter. If he comes to buffalo, he will know his place and Fitz will have to play just plain awful for the fans to start calling for Vince. You can't fault the guy for wanting to be in a situation where he could start, every quarterback should want that. Why not bring him in as the backup and hope our great locker room can change his character and attitude around?
  23. Well first off.. you ignored his rushing numbers.. which was a huge part of his game in the early part of his career. If you add those numbers in he actually had a very good first couple years in the league. The fact that your reason's for Vince Young as a headcase stem from wikipedia is reason enough to discredit him. The story about his "depression" and "suicidal thoughts" was blown way out of proportion. The truth is, we don't no anything about the situation and have no idea how he was feeling during that time. Any number of things can make someone depressed and its unfair to judge him on that account. Your second story just shows that he's an emotional player in the heat of a game and that he wants to win. There have been plenty of players that have been ultra emotional and have succeeded in the NFL. Just because he had a few mishaps when he was a 24 year old does not mean that he is a headcase. I wouldn't mind seeing Young on the team and there's a chance that he could come in and win a few games for us in the case of an injury to Fitz. Just because the guy has a few blips in his past (by the way: nothing compared to some other players in the league) does not mean he can't change and turn himself into a good football player.
  24. I dont hate it.. it's not like we're going to paying him any significant $. Bring him on! This locker room is too strong for him to ruin anything!
