  1. Carter was the first POTUS I voted against. Ford was better. I was in college during Carter. Losing a job. inflation, oil crisis. Fun times. Just like today, except I am retired.
  2. Biden calls the Maryland governor (who is black) "boy"!!!!!
  3. Being a stroke survivor, I didn't want I'm to run. Recovering from a stroke is a full time job. Even almost 8 years after mine, I still get dizzy if I look up too long (happens if I'm hiking in the woods and look up in the trees too long). Am ok as soon as Ilook straight ahead. He should have spent time on his rehab instead of running. I din't have depression, but I could see it happening. Every recovery has hills and valleys. Recover first then run.
  4. Can of spaghettios. Beginning of January had TMJ and couldn't chew without pain. Put some Franks Hot Sauce and parmesan on them. Soft and small enough that could swallow without chewing.
  5. Zoom................ about as far over your head as as the Chinese Spy Balloon.

  7. For those who DR is living rent free in their empty craniums- DR is is DR. Got sick of you , Got up and left for the other board. BilsfanNC became DRs Ghost for a while to play with the one brain cell you all share. He went back to BillsfanNC. Stop postingthe same memes over and over and pay attention. DR is a writer in LA. BllsFanNC is a biologist as I am. We discussed stuff about COVID on the other board and he is a biologist.
  8. If I ever get dogs, I will name them BillStime, Tiberius, 716er, and redtailhawk. 😀 The loony left here remind me of dogs chasing their own tails until they fall over .
  9. "Planned Parenthood" , the biggest killer of minority ( and all) youth in the country.
  10. Remember reading about his exploits with Phil Vilapiano(sp?) here. Back in late 70s I worked at a Denny"s and they had a company-wide newsletter . Back then , he and Dan Dierdorf went into a Dennys in the St. Louis area and ordered one of everything on the menu and then ate it. The newsletter had photos of them with all the food on the table, them eating it and the empty plates.
  11. No such thing as bad publicity.
  12. The word such should have a k instead of an h. Don't know if autocorrect or the forum language filter did it.
  13. Emmys, Oscars, and Grammys all such nowadays too.
  14. Where was your orthopedic residency, doctor?
  15. Last halftime I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it was back in 2010- The Who.
  16. They should ha\ve been testing Mahomes to see what they pumped him full of the last month and at the half. I had a high ankle sprain once from stepping in a gopher hole. Was limping bad for over a month. Philly should have landed on it harder in the second quarter.
  17. I am. Some people were were saying was she pregnant? Some said she just had a kid. Weird outfits (as is usual nowadays). With the lighting and the platforms,I thought at first that it was just multiple images of her and the dancers superimposed on the screen. I only watched about 30 seconds of the half. She was up in the air.
  18. If they shoot one down over Phoenix, it's Rhiannon.

  21. And carried on by Joke to this day.
  22. I survived a stroke in 2014, lost a nephew in 2017 and my mother in 2021. Nothing negative about sports affects me. There are more important things to worry about.
  23. That was on Saturday. No really, I plugged up the toilet on Saturday. I was still awake laying in bed because I had gotten up to pee a few minutes earlier. It was 2.1 miles south of me.I'm on the second floor. lasted a few seconds and the windows rattled. I had lived about 20 years in the SF area, so I knew what it was immediately and didn't get out of bed. In California, I lived 2 miles from the Calavaras fault (~20 % chance of having a big one in the next 20 years). There were microquakes which were unfelt every couple of days. The biggest I felt were two 4.2 quakes about 2 miles away under the Chevron HQ. One hit at 4 AM and woke me up. Could tell which direction it came from as it rattled pictures in my room, then the glass shower doors and then the pictures in the hall. The other was in the afternoon and I was on the floor (slab on grade) in my living room. The whole building moved back and forth probably about 5 feet (like the glider you would sit on on the porch) for about 15-20 seconds. The patio door vibrated and there were hairline cracks in the upper corners of the frame around it. After another one there that was probably a 3.5, iI went outside and saw the street lights (all metal) still vibrating. For smaller ones, I would see pencils in a cup on my desk move or the venetian blind cords sway.
