I've called them twice within past week. I had a 2 yr contract that just expired. The first call, I asked if there were discounts or deals available. The lady "checked" and said no. The 2nd call was today, a few days later, and it was a cancellation of ST plus a rehash by me of the first call. The lady said let me transfer you to "retention". I told her no need to transfer me to retention, I've already been told they were no discounts. Actually I'm fed up with Directv and got a much better deal with Cox. True no ST but there's a good Bills bar down the road. I need to be more social. ? I mention this in case someone is getting stonewalled. Just call back. It appeared that the 2nd lady was referring to some notes from the first call. The 2nd lady wanted to "work" with me but I'm just done with them. You are not alone. Essentially the same story as well as customer time. FYI Directv does not prorate your final bill if you cancel service. Just ate some $.

I believe a change already occurred. Barkley played quite a bit at QB in the Panthers game. McKenzie and Williams played a fair amount with Barkley. IIRC McCloud played some as well with Barkley. I believe it's down to McKenzie and Williams for WR 6. The top 5 are Brown, Beasley, Foster, Roberts, and Jones.

Good news is the Bills will be in a good position to address DE early in the draft next year as well as WR.

Need the DTs to get a good push up the middle. This will help the DEs. No pocket for QB to step up and force QB to sidestep. Looking forward to seeing Oliver play a full game. Does his quickness and strength wear opponents down as game progresses?

I heard the pregame by the Cards announcers. They had Bidwell on, team president ?, and they asked what to expect this year from Cards. Bidwell said the Cards will have an explosive offense, score a bunch of points, a top 5 defense, and improved special teams. Playoffs baby! ?

Crazy fact from Ravens game. The Ravens have had one UDFA make their roster for 15 straight seasons. They didn't say 53 roster or practice squad or better. I'm guessing the 53. Bart Scott and Justin Tucker were 2 of the players. They mentioned an OG will probably be this year's UDFA.

Watching Packers Ravens. Ravens broadcast. Bunch of homers. Their lone criticism of Jackson was taking hits instead of getting out of bounds or slide. He looked alright but missed some throws. Nice td run that was called back on a penalty.

If the Bills special teams show up in this game, they should win.

I'm expecting Beane to trade a player or two in exchange for late round picks. If he's unable to pull off a trade, the Bills will cut some players that will likely be on another teams 53. A surprise cut for me is one of the later draft picks from this year's draft.

I'd go with Baldy. He played OL so he has a better perspective on OL/DL play. Oliver held his own against Nelson. Some good plays by both players.

He's a 3 year starter on a rookie 4th round deal so I can understand he wants to get paid but this is crazy money an average QB. The Cowboys control him for 2 more seasons and then can start using franchise tags beginning in 2021.

I tend to agree. I believe the Bills are trying a bunch of guys at various positions on the OL to see what they have in case of injury not to mention the current injuries. Nothing like game action to evaluate players, I thought the starting OL against the Colts was pretty stout.

I know the Bills were missing Hyde, Lorax, and Hughes. The Colts were missing Luck, Hilton, their starting Center, and starting LT. Bills D played well and I'll take that for the first preseason game. Bills D could be scary good.

Ok Virgil. You do nice writeups on game days so I believe your question is sincere. The replay by Baldinger is the first offensive play for the Colts which results in a 2 yard loss. The RG and RT double team Oliver, the TE 81 tries to block Lawson. The Center 63 blocks Star. All of this leaves Edmunds all alone unblocked. He recognizes the play, runs past Nelson on reach block and blows the play up. Lawson comes in and finishes for a 2 yard loss. What made the Ravens defense great in their first Super Bowl year was Ray Lewis had Tony Siragusa and some other large human clog up the middle. Lewis was usually able to fly to the ball uninhibited.
