  1. We can quibble over characterizations but, sure.
  2. That is the theory, where I believe that theory fails is that I believe that you guys are miscalculating Obama's ego. This is his baby, this is his legacy. If he is to go down in history as a meaningful president it will be because Obamacare eventually became a main staple in American life. I have no doubt in my mind that is what he wants. If Obamacare no longer exists and we get some sort of "Medicare-for-all" or Single payor sort of healthcare system, his legacy will no longer be in tact. So, from my perspective I have very little doubt that when he proposed and passed this bill, in his mind this was not some sort of first step as you put it but more what would become part of the fabric of the U.S's healthcare system.
  3. For sure, but I think that generally speaking, they are less disgusted with their candidate than the R's. Also, they are bringing in the cavalry, Obama and Michelle, and they will probably help bring home some of their D's. I know this anecdotal, but on my social media a lot of those that were die hard Bernie supporters who had detested Hillary are seeming to turn the corner and come back to Hillary. It's not so much because I see pro Hillary stuff but more of an anti Trump sentiment.
  4. I would hope so. I have seen the polling data and it does show that the R's that are up this year in the swing states are doing much better than Trump. I would think that there is a legitimate fear that many voters would stay home who normally are inclined to vote R. But without doubt the polling is not indicating that to be the case.
  5. That's why there needs to be more than two parties, I want absolutely nothing to do with the Talk Radio populist base and I'm sure there are many like me who feel the same. Then again, I'm also positive that those that are part of the Talk radio populist base want nothing to do with the more center righties. So here we are.
  6. I'll say this, seeing the way she is able to communicate on the stump, her soaring popularity within the Democratic party, if she decided to run for the senate in Illinois she'd easily win. And you know what? She'd be a leading contender to become a top tiered presidential candidate shortly afterwards.
  7. Just wanted to see if there were any changes from the previous poll
  8. The democratic machine, media and surrogates are doing exactly what many of us thought they'd do, they are absolutely destroying Trump, limb by limb. The Senate GOP was looking decent and the house was a lock, now the senate is likely to fall and the house is now back in play.
  9. I think we win. 75% odds in my view.
  10. Hillary is a very weak Democratic candidate, I assume she will have low favorability ratings in the second half of her first term. There are a number of candidates who could be competitive against her. Rubio, Mitch Daniels who I happen to believe could be a fantastic president, Condi Rice, Scott Walker even though he did real poorly this last time around, Ryan who is another guy that I think on a substantive level would be a good president his problem now is that he is the head of the house which I believe was a bad political move, Kasich, Mike Pence I believe has proven himself to be a very steady candidate has a good track record in Indiana was a respected member of the house and has that Midwestern appeal. I'm sure there will be a few other people who will emerge and of course if Cruz regains his appeal with the base he'll be a force to reckon with even though I don't believe he is a good general election candidate. The best bets to have a shot at winning the primary and then the presidency would probably be Rubio, Mitch Daniels, Walker and Pence. We'll see, like I said most likely someone else will emerge and catch fire. Hopefully it's not some celebrity populist nutjob.
  11. POS in my view is reserved for crappy human beings not people who display poor judgement. God knows I did some dumb crap when I was in my early 20's.
  12. Floyd Mayweather's calls out Kaep
  13. For sure. I do miss the back-and-forths. There really isn't anyone aside from TPS from the other side (Occasionally lybob- I'm sure you'd disagree) that puts up good counter arguments. Instead, I have to waste time arguing with a bunch of nincompoops who can't even comprehend what they read or differentiate between what is a fact and an opinion.
  14. I remember having epic arguments with KellytheDog on Obamacare, respectful arguments, he at least was able to put together coherent logical arguments in making his case, but this was all predicted. I saw him peek in here the other day for a split second, would love to hear what he has to say today on this topic.
  15. It's a two way street, whether you agree with these people or not, but many people (not myself) believe that he was disrespecting them, specially those that were in the military or police force. So, the thinking is, he is disrespecting me therefore I can disrespect him.
  16. Just as it its Kaep's right to kneel, it is the right of the fans to boo him for whatever reason that they want to. Just keep it peaceful.
  17. You are a legend in your own mind.
  18. You are a certified dingbat. There is a reason why numerous posters on this board believe you to be Mr. Pointy Tinfoil hat.
  19. You are either a complete imbecile or you have selective goggles on who has issues with basic comprehension. Did you not read that wikileaks link? Did you read it or did you rush to the keyboard like a jizz spewing monkey and begin uncontrollably copying pasting what you believe helped make your case? That entire wikileaks dump was on how they can defeat ISIL, the whole damn thing. Since you are apparently helpless, I will copy and paste that entire Wikileaks, so that anyone who has just the least bit of curiosity can see that you are a certified tinfoil hat wearing dingbat. No where does it even come close to suggesting there is anything approaching a proxy war where the US is assisting ISIL via proxy. I urge everyone to read it. Are you seriously that dense that you could not comprehend what they were saying here? They are NOT saying that they are wanting to help Saudi Arabia or Qatar fund or assist ISIL, but RATHER to pressure them to STOP assisting ISIL. What a serious fail on your part as usual. That's it. That's the entire wikileaks article you posted and it 100% makes the complete opposite tinfoiled hat point you attempted to make. Everyone that wants to take 5-8 minutes of their time can read through it and see that you are not to be taken seriously.
  20. I've already become accustomed to the typical bias, it's factored in. However, what they are doing over the past couple months, specially so as we are approaching crunch time is out-of-this-world. I used to tune into them as part of the rotation of networks that I will view but this is just nuts.
  21. I was definitely on that bandwagon to get rid of Crossman, not any longer.
  22. My dad and I began talking last night and he asked me whether or not I believed Kaep would present troubles for us. I essentially said almost the exact same thing. That he could create some plays with his legs on broken up plays or a couple spectacular down-the-field passes but aside from that, I didn't see him consistently beating us with his arm. That with his weight-loss, the fact that he hadn't been playing well the past couple years and that if I had to bet whether or not he's as committed to football as he used to be, I'd venture to guess that he's not, and that he was beaten out in camp by Gabbert despite this being what is thought by many to be a system tailor made for Kaep, I'd tend to believe he could struggle against our defense. Of course conventional wisdom is often wrong. So I guess, we'll see.
  23. I'm reminded of the same thing every time I read your posts.
