  1. Travis Kelce is the key here... if he is no longer THE GUY, then Mahomes looks very beatable. Nobody gets open for him like Kelce did.
  2. A lot has changed in 26 years here, mostly good... great for reading and discussion, but very poor for creating posts. Very heavy handed on Bills related posts as of late and extremely disappointing.
  3. I would have to agree... and now he has a chance to fix some of it by drafting well and finding a way to bring in Garrett.
  4. I love how McD is finally doing what is necessary to fix what is broken so now it is up to Beane to get him the talent he needs to do what the Iggles are doing to the Chefs.
  5. Not surprised you don't get the reference... Doctor Who is for intelligent human beings.
  6. State Farm won't be advertising during the Super Bowl. https://www.sportico.com/business/sponsorship/2025/state-farm-super-bowl-reduced-insurance-spend-1234825710/
  7. We are concrete evidence that a young future Hall of Fame QB who is committed to doing things right fixes a lot of problems on offense.
  8. Another defensive HC for a team that is broken offensively... keep it up
  9. Van Demark was signed today. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-announce-the-signing-of-ol-ryan-van-demark-seven-reserve-future-signings
  10. Once the Eagles win, I have a message for Xavier Worthy.
  11. The punishment on Josh Allen's body affords us little time for getting this wrong... Beane must prove that he can do it and I am not so sure. TALKING ABOUT IT and DOING IT are two totally different things. We MUST have a pass rush, period. Not having one killed us when the Chiefs were ripe for the picking because that offensive line should have been exploited.
  12. 1. "The Philadelphia Eagles have $39.2 million in available cap space according to Over the Cap as of 3/17/2024. The Eagles have the fifth-most salary cap space in the NFL as of 3/17/2024." https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/eagles-salary-cap-free-agents-draft-picks-2024/ 2. This strategy paid off because their draft picks were very successful, and let's face it, Beane has a spotty record with our draft picks. We are in no position to guarantee either of these things happening you mentioned above... the Von Miller deal REALLY screwed us as well as the spotty draft picks.
  13. Aaron Williams never had justice for his career ending injury at the hands of Jarvis Landry ($25,000 what a joke), so yeah, the NFL can shove it.
  14. I think you may be onto something, but to be fair Beane is more of a disappointment not getting enough of the proper players on defense in the draft.
  15. Could be worse... could have a ***** owner who doesn't care (Snyder) is an old stubborn fart (Jurrah Jones) or an owner who is so hands on they suck (Woody). SOME people here don't appreciate these times... the period from Van Pelt to Tryrod was BRUTAL... wasted talent on bad QB play.
  16. Brooklyn isn't the same as Manhattan, and that's what makes it even more difficult because it is about neighborhoods and not just an amalgamation of areas called "NYC" or "The Bay Area". I can't imagine how tough those losses are being closely tied like that. I feared that for the Bills for many years.
  17. Growing up in Oakland isn't the same as growing up in San Francisco though... not the same memories for the guy, right?
  18. Why is it unrealistic for Von to retire and then turn around and join the front office or staff? That is doable and that salary doesn't count against us.
  19. I guess what makes it different is that Oakland has no more sports teams... now that is something on a whole other level of bad
  20. SEE, WE DIFFER on this... I would rather have the Pirates move than subject our fan base to any more of this nonsense. The government there should nail his pelt to the wall and play hardball on any and all incentives when the old deal expires. Let the Pirates legacy stand alone instead of tarnishing it further...
  21. EVERYONE says that, and they are right that PNC Park is an awesome place for a game... but the product is so intentionally bad that even if nobody showed up to the games Nutting would still make tens of millions in profit. It is by far the worst "great stadium/terrible owner" ratio in all of sports. Now you see why I am beyond embarrassed at this point... even Bing Crosby was a better owner. Same exact way... I was too young in 1979 to understand they were World Series champions. My grandparents lived minutes from McKechnie Field in Bradenton so my childhood memories of baseball are simple and vague. The 1992 NLCS loss is just as painful as any of the playoff losses the Bills have had.
  22. MLB perpetuates this through the revenue sharing which was SUPPOSED to help small market teams but it is only acting as owner welfare. Now what I have to do is mail all of my Pirates gear to the club with a brief non vulgar letter as a final F U to Nutting.
  23. Most don't know because a) It's baseball and b) Those who follow baseball just see the record laugh at the Pirates.
  24. Posting this here... I am no longer a Pirates fan. The Pirates now have the worst owner in sports in Bob Nutting. Nutting has intentionally signed cheap talent or traded for it and has the second lowest payroll in all of MLB. Nutting designated a player who needed one more game for a bonus in Rowdy Tellez. Nutting is now lowballing Skenes and will probably trade him like he does everyone else. Nutting REFUSES to sell, intending to pass it down to his family. I am now choosing to be a Cubs fan... great history, great fans like the Bills, AND as a bonus they play the Pirates a ton every season. No longer a fan after almost 50 years. Dan Snyder has NOTHING on this POS. https://rumbunter.com/paul-skenes-brief-and-disappointing-update-on-pirates-contract-extension-says-it-all
