Should the Pegulas Cash Out?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Now is the winter of our discontent..." in Buffalo with no summer in sight. I jut don't know what to think... it is as if Pegula is one of those CEOs like on Undercover Boss that really has little idea how their business ACTUALLY WORKS and eventually their employees either show them and the light bulb goes off, or it will get worse and they get replaced. Problem is, owners are not accountable like CEOs... -
Reggie Ragland's play for the chiefs

The Chiefs are on a downward trajectory as Ragland gets more playing time... I see it as a "plug the dike" situation, trying to stop the leaks and get back on track. -
Should the Pegulas Cash Out?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whatever it was, Pat definitely handled it like a professional and left, never to return to an NHL organization. That is very telling because it must have been something so poorly handled and/or disrespect that he said F THIS and bounced. After the tenure of Murray and the aftermath, it is clear to me that my gut was right that Pat and Murray vehemently disagreed on moving forward, whether it was the Ryan Miller trade or more. We may never know, but I side with Pat on this one obviously. The Pegulas TOTALLY backed the wrong horse, because it cannot honestly get much worse than this. -
Should the Pegulas Cash Out?

1. What he did to Pat LaFontaine was UNCONSCIONABLE. My boycott of the Sabres and the despotic reign of Tim Murray proved to be a smart move as all he did was make idiotic moves and instilling a losing mentality through and through. 2. Continuing to let Russ Brandon have ANY role within the franchises is a bonehead move. He should have been gone a WHILE ago... 3. Although the Pegulas have made several very questionable moves, they are the only owners we have. Let's face it... these two franchises would probably be moved via Mayflower to another city or dissolved because who really wants to own an NFL or NHL franchise in Buffalo these days? Only Cleveland and San Diego make us look better, and to be quite frank eventually I see at least one of my teams ceasing to exist in Buffalo because the golden age of sports doesn't exist anymore due to inundation of franchises that has reached a critical mass in addition to the current state of our society. Although there is little to enjoy being a Buffalo sports fan, at least I have my teams to root for- for now. -
I watched that game in college and that season was strange... we started off really great and then hit that buzz saw in KC. The revenge came in the playoffs, where KC had to come to Buffalo and Mark Vlasic got the start over Steve DeBerg... Vlasic hurt his thumb and the rest was history... we throttled them like they did us. AWESOME RESPONSE to that MNF debacle.

Dareus is killing it for the Jags
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You seriously must be related to Dareus... that's a couple of Dareus threads like this started by you. He'll go back to his immature ways. Let someone else overpay for him. -

Sorry, take the cotton out of in between your fingers and the white hood off your head before you type, then maybe you might make sense. -

That's because Escape from The White House will be in future development, along with future game extras like the Huckster-Sanders [sic] Propaganda Minister and the Sessions Judge of the People's Court figurines, along with the Alternative Facts Constitution and detailed secret Kushner-Kislyak Pact reproduction with crucial details redacted. -
This is why Tyrod was benched
EasternOHBillsFan replied to essential's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Many Bills fans typically go to the "blame OC X" when the QB plays like crap, and it is just an automatic default that we have to get out of. To be fair, we really haven't had much in the way of starting quarterbacks for ANY OC to really succeed to be sure. Eventually we have to hit on THE GUY at QB who will make it happen. -
Jerry Jones racially insensitive remark video
EasternOHBillsFan replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You sound like a real winner, and you aren't even a part of the Confederacy. Chris Christie on the beach with just his family looks better... I hear ol pedophile Roy Moore and his wife need another fake Washington Post voice for his robocalls... you could just pull it off. -
The resilience he displayed after what happened at Tennessee is really something you can't teach. He knows what it is like to be on the other side of the Tyrod benching, and look how it all came out for him (and the state of the Tennessee program and how far it has fallen). https://www.seccountry.com/tennessee/peterman-vols-reflections Ben Roethlisberger made it happen as a rookie. Yes, Tom Brady did it also as a late rounder. Kurt Warner is probably by far the biggest underdog story I have seen in my lifetime, taking a terrible 1998 Rams team into a stellar 1999 and winning the whole damn thing. In this business, you NEVER KNOW what will happen. Regardless, if the Cubs can win the World Series and the Seahawks, Saints, Buccaneers and the Rams, then BY GOD the BUFFALO BILLS can eventually win it all. I'm not waiting 108 seasons, but hell... LOL GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!! WIN WITH PETERMAN!

Who's been most screwed by the Bills? Of All Time.
EasternOHBillsFan replied to LA Grant's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Flutie would have NEVER made him a HOF player... and he only started in 10 of the 16 games that season. You don't get into the Hall of Fame based upon one season... if he would have had a franchise QB to throw to him, his Hall selection would have been unquestioned. He had almost 10,000 receiving with some real scrub QBs. -
Should Al Franken resign
EasternOHBillsFan replied to /dev/null's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Al Franken should resign IF AND ONLY IF Trump resigns, hypocrites. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/08/us/donald-trump-tape-transcript.html -

Wade Phillips, BY FAR. The others deserved exactly what they got, from poor drafts to poor play against good teams! Eric Moulds is my second choice. HE NEVER got a QB worthy of his talent level except Bledsoe for one good season as the second greatest WR to ever wear the Bills uniform, and that includes James Lofton. IMHO Eric Moulds would have been a Hall of Famer on any good team while he played. -
Not when it came to Ryan Fitzpatrick... he legitimately was a liability because teams knew throwing deep accurately was rarely happening.
-
Andy Dalton is like Drew Bledsoe... don't count on much beyond a bump up in a couple of wins. He is the epitome of anti-clutch when facing strong teams.

Every Dareus hater, APOLOGIZE
EasternOHBillsFan replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You conviently glazed over the transgressions Dareus has committed since he came to us. That's disappointing. Doug Marrone can afford to take on a Dareus contract because he inherited a team that has better overall talent and had the room to make the move. You say that "McBean got the roster and schemes they want right now" and YET we still have all of this dead cap space thanks to Dareus and holes we have yet to fill- remember all those draft picks we have? Don't you think we collected them because we actually ARE NOT the team Beane and McDermott want fully, and that we are missing pieces? The only thing I am upset about besides the Boldin two-faced episode is Tyrod stubbornly being allowed to STILL be the starter despite his exposed limitations. We are just not where we need to be against good teams, and in time the evolving puzzle will be filled in nicely with the right pieces.
