Media trying to get McDermott fired.
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McDermott is trying to get HIMSELF FIRED by making poor player decisions and his comments not jibing with what is going on in games. By far his legacy will be the all in mentality with Nate Peterman and leaving him and Allen out to dry if he continues to blunder. This league is WAY too offensively tilted for us to slog through games with a terrible offense. 2019 is rebuilding mode with all that free cap space, HOWEVER if McDermott doesn't make good decisions with the personnel, it will all be for naught. I am sick and tired of defensive head coaches that think they can win with defense and a sprinkle of offense. Enough. -
Who to start against NE?

Whoever voted Peterman should be kicked out of the Bills Mafia for LIFE. That guy is the worst QB in Bills history. DUH. -
We should trade for Bridgewater NOW

Does Bridgewater play WR or TE? Exactly. Please stop this nonsense. -
McDermott hangs up on Schopp and Bulldog

THIS... THIS!!!! SO THIS... How in the HELL do you not put a veteran on the depth chart? I fully expected it to be McCarron, Allen, and then Peterman, but of COURSE we CUT McCarron and leave two young guys out to twist in the wind. Things had better change after this season. They are bringing in nothing but former Panthers players, and if that is their solution going forward and make more horrible decisions like this one, it's gonna get REALLY UGLY... like starting Peterman in any more games ugly. Step UP or step OUT! -
No Free Agent Wide Receivers?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to jtothebrown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both of them are scrap head receivers... we're playing for 2019, in case you haven't figured that out. Allen needs help with the game FIRST, then he gets REAL upgrades on offense, not bandaids. -
Bills claim DT Jordan Phillips

Who exactly are we supposed to pick up, the baby Dez Bryant, the often injured Jeremy Maclin who said no to us already, or Rishard Matthews who decided not to put forth enough effort after injury to get targets. Yeah, GOOD LUCK... -
Peterman vs Tuel
EasternOHBillsFan replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never said he was the only problem, but of course not all players get to have an opportunity to play for a good team. Based upon the cold, hard numbers, however, Darragh is the worst QB in Bills history. Based upon an overall analysis of team quality vs. quarterback, that is another matter... a very difficult decision. -
Realistic trade option...Charles Clay?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe that Marcel's contract is the second worst in the league (Bills dead cap=$13,564,705), and Sammy Watkins's contract is the worst in the league which is the Chiefs's problem... the HIGHEST paid WR in the NFL.. LMAO!!!!!! https://overthecap.com/player/sammy-watkins/2943/ -
Peterman vs Tuel
EasternOHBillsFan replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are a few of us around that are Buffalo sports historians and remember how bad it can get. We tried to make it with Kemp for too long and got burned. In fact, the Raiders flourished while we took their garbage in Tom Flores and John Rauch. -
Peterman vs Tuel
EasternOHBillsFan replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't want to EVER see Peterman play QB for us again. No offense to the person, but you have to be Dan Darragh in order to be as worse as him at QB, and Dan Darragh was the worst Buffalo Bills QB of all time. Side note: The Bills would have been fine had they retained Daryle Lamonica, one of the worst trades in team history. -
OK, in bold you have completely gone off the rails... first, you say that you were right our O-line wasn't as good and our WRs weren't as good. Then, you wonder WHY Bills fans pick Allen over Mahomes. Let me see...... who does Kansas City have as their O-line and WRs?? Ohh, that's right, they are set up with some really good talent in both areas. So, when you spout off questioning WHY we like Allen over Mahomes, just look at what Allen did jumping into the start, with weak O-line and weak WRs, without the sitting out a full year that Mahomes did behind Alex Smith. What are we going to give Allen in Year 2 NEXT season with all that cap space like the Chiefs gave Mahomes in Year 2? We DON'T KNOW YET, so stop comparing Mahomes to Allen. So please, before you criticize Bills fans, correct your own deficiencies. Please.

I remember the old Packers before Brett Favre, so there are not that many Bills fans in that category. I have always liked the Packers when they don't play the Bills. I have read Lombardi's biography by Maraniss and a couple of older books about the 60s. Lombardi was a great man.

Yes, historically we have done well against them... remember the Packers game at Milwaukee Stadium? They used to play there along with Lambeau Field. I wish this game was there vice Lambeau... our record there is better

Agreed! Fans are often like a roller coaster... despite the ups and downs and the screams and cheers, we're still on the ride.

To borrow part of a phrase from the great American author Mark Twain: The demise of Andrew Luck is greatly exaggerated.

For those who expect a win because the other team has injuries, just a warning, that's all. For those of us who watched the Bears destroy Kizer, we don't need to test my theory... I think it is established that Kizer sucks.

I remember when the Steelers didn't play their starters at the end of the season and we needed a win for the playoffs and we lost. Sorry, but nothing is a sure thing so long as Rodgers is behind center when he has Adams, Cobb and Allison with Jones returning. Just saying.
