Bills play the Chiefs very tough but if we’re depending on turnovers to win on Sunday, I don’t like our chances.

If we do that, is it possible to play Taron at FS and Rapp at SS? I would guess that would give us an interesting look.

It’s interesting that the Bills have generally been a very slow starter this year, playing much better in the second half. In both KC games last year, Bills outplayed KC in first half but were badly outplayed in the second half. Don’t know what it means but pretty sure that they can’t get away with a slow start on Sunday.

One of the other panelists (Ryan Clark?) said that refs were right to not call the face mask because “it didn’t impact the throw”. JFC! It that the new rule for calling a penalty? In a sense, he’s on to something. If a penalty doesn’t impact a play, maybe it shouldn’t be called. Maybe that helps end the flag fests we see week in and week out that are ruining the game.

Ending of Bengals - Ravens changed my mind about going for 2 at end of game. The week before I was all over the Bucs for not going for 2 against the Chiefs. But as Burrow said in the press conference, refs aren’t going to call anything at that point. If that’s the case, it really reduces chances of a successful conversion.

Glad Bengals lost. DO NOT want them in the playoffs as potential opponent. They have our number. I’d much rather take on the Ravens in a rematch.

TB not going for two. You knew they were toast as soon as they kicked the extra point. After Davis scored with 13 seconds left, I really wanted the Bills to go for two. Chiefs were reeling. Put a dagger in them. If successful, even McDermott and Frazier aren’t going to give up a TD in 13 seconds. If unsuccessful, maybe the mind is focused and Bass doesn’t kick it into the end zone, maybe the safeties aren’t playing 30 yards deep, maybe Hill doesn’t run for 20 yards before encountering a Bills defender. Sorry, but if you have a chance to beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead by going for two at the end of the game, do it!!

Didn’t these refs go to ref school? When you make a bogus, phantom call against one team, you immediately make a bogus, phantom call against the OTHER team (technically a “make up call”). You don’t double down with a second bogus, phantom call on the same team.

I always caution folks to look at the Sabres before saying stuff like this. Pegula got lucky with McDermott/Beane. I don’t want Rex Ryan redux.

Supposedly he was hurt in JAX game (yeah, he was horrible in that game). Otherwise, when he plays, he makes plays and looked ok today. Granted, Benford and Douglas are better but it wouldn’t shock me if they let Douglas walk and give Elam first crack at starting CB.

The guy is a mystery wrapped in a riddle wrapped in an enigma. Is he in the doghouse for some reason? Yet, when he plays he plays well (other than last year against JAX in London) and he makes big plays. Weirdest situation ever.

Not sure I get the “desperation” angle. Last week at home against Arizona was their desperation game. Win and they’re 3-4 and still have a heartbeat. Lose and you’re 2-5 going to Buffalo. Well, they lost. Fins’ offense has to have a spectacular game to pull this off and I just don’t see it happening.

This isn’t really serious but if you’re going to go after a kicker why not go for the guy who kicks 60 yarders like they are extra points - Brandon Autry. Say Cowboys drop another game before the deadline. What could entice them to actually deal an All-Pro kicker? Bass and a third? Can’t go higher than that. Lower I can’t see them very interested.

Remember when Bills moved Kelsay to OLB when they switched to a 3 - 4? Good times.
