  1. well- yeah. But I was speaking directly to the Watkins draft decision.
  2. It was Whaley/Russ (after Ralph passed) while we were between owners playing with "house money" like two children.
  3. Fair enough! Good point. I see some are ready to spend on Gisecki, Gronk, Ertz, etc. Those are not cheap trinkets considering our cap and other needs. Gerald Everett is probably the more appropriate level imo.
  4. Not sure why so many are placing such a huge importance on the #2 TE to the point where they want to spend to get one. This offense features the slot role more so than 2 TE's going over the middle. I can see it in the red zone or run/pass out of the 12 formation but would try that with a late draft pick or JAG at the tail of FA.
  5. Keep Rousseau - he's going to be a disruptor when he flourishes. Get a pass rusher in FA Stay put in Rd1: We're in good position to snipe a falling star across a number of positions. I want to see what we do if Treylon Burks is there I would move up in Rd 2 to catch a Rd 1 talent/starter at CB/DT/OL if we plugged the right holes in FA
  6. For a kid from Buffalo, who no doubt grew up a fan, he rarely showed a single drop of "low key Bills love" in the public eye. Think Brady and the Niners: everyone knows it, but it doesn't mean he's going to let up from kicking their ass in a game. As a Patriot, I get it and never expected it. But, now, he's a wealthy guy with nothing to lose publicly to say something good about the Bills/JA phenomenon. Door WIDE open for him to say that he wants "one for the thumb" in Buffalo....and he would have gotten an airport greeting from the fans. And he pumps Burrow. Truth is: he just doesn't give a F about the Bills or their chances of winning a SB. We can now move on.
  7. Not sure the fact that he's been a fantasy disappointment for 2y is being separated out here.
  8. LOL....let's throw the Giants next-to-nothing for 2 bona fide offensive weapons.
  9. I wouldn't think they are shopping Toney - rookie contract, need weapons, has shown flashes. Doesn't make sense for them. Nothing to lose there. Barkley/Bradberry - would think they are absolutely looking to rid big contracts or capture value where Barkley is concerned.
  10. No to Will Fuller, it's a shiny object I know, but he has a horrible injury history. Kirk is super interesting. Inconsistent, but young enough to improve on it. Berrios is low-key a really interesting upside play. Crowder could be expensive but one of the best when on his game. Never got to work with a great QB either. Chark is not going to command WR1 money from good teams. There are huge names that are going to command the big dollars. I would wait it out on him, like Beane knows how, and either someone overspends for him, or we hit him with the 1-2y "prove it" deal. Young enough to take a deal like that and blast his stats in this offense, potentially win a SB. Then someone else can pay him stupid money.
  11. It's the "cringiest" thing the NFL does. They refuse to let go of it. Give the PB players their trip to Hawaii for their families and do a big charity golf tournament between AFC/NFC...do it like the Ryder Cup with a well-respected Captain (like a Peyton Manning) Meet/Greet with fans and a couple of promotional things.....done with it. I would watch a sunday golf pairing btwn Mahomes/JA I would never watch that sh-t football game where all I do is worry that someone wrecks their career with an odd injury.....
  12. No room on the bandwagon for MASS-holes. It took a perfect game to finally break them. 2021 was worth it for this alone.
  13. Could be the best backup QB job pitch of all time.
  14. We have STABILITY across the Owner/GM/HC/QB like never before! We are a top destination for FA's especially offensive skill players Would love to see some cap wizardry to shed, restructure, and fit in some quality pieces in FA We are in a position in the draft to snipe a top WR in the 1st, would trade up in 2 to get a 1st level CB that fell, OL/LB after If there is something available FA/Trade that makes us significantly better (Edge/RB), no matter the cost, we take it. We are "all-in" for that prize
  15. These two must be together in Buffalo.....the world may not be ready.....we are.
  16. All QB remarks from here on in are with the understanding, and unanimous decision, that Josh is always the MOST awesome.
