  1. They forgot about Gabe for more than half the season as they tried to feed Sanders and Beasley. The dude always maxes out on his opportunities. Efficiency off the charts. Feed Gabe in 2022.
  2. Agreed. I think the Cle management is aware their OL is elite and when D'ernest had the opportunity in Hunt's absence, he flashed. They can get away with a "downgrade" here and still get the production while reducing their cap number. You could be right though, he is under contract w/o guaranteed $.
  3. Are we sure all of the "morality-based" arguments would come to the surface if it were Tyreek Hill we were talking about bringing in? The nice part about decisions at the franchise level is they're downstream from the league. Gives individual franchises the opportunity to then make their own decision after the league gives overall direction. If the league decides one way/other, then it's fair game as franchises are here to win in any way possible within those boundaries. Watch D Watson and how many teams will freaking lunge to get him if the league lets him back in.
  4. And we didn't hear a peep about his "racism" from the fans as our running game absolutely smashed w/Shady behind him.
  5. Heard this one today on a podcast: Projected Hunt to the Bills No guaranteed $ from the Browns, probable cut candidate. D'ernest Johnson taking his spot. $5M estimated cost. Great fit for this offense. Not a big number for a guy that can start/handle 3 downs if need be. Has shown ability to produce big in a 2 back timeshare as well. We know what he can do on-field. We know off-field was ugly a few years ago. Has kept himself out of any further issues in Cle. Also projected Allen Robinson to Buffalo. (God, and your salary cap team, are you listening?) I know, typical off-season sh-t but, ARob dreams aside, the Hunt possibility is a very interesting one. If I hold this one up against: Fournette Patterson Chase Edmonds M Gordon R Penny M Mack James White As interesting as Penny would be, I'd take Hunt if we could afford him. Thoughts?
  6. Some say a good 2 minute defense is key, I say a good 13 second defense can be the difference maker in a season. Yes, it still hurts.
  7. JA is getting the offseason attention/treatment on par with a SB winning QB. If this guy comes back and delivers a SB without letting all of this get to his head (or his work ethic, desire, etc.), that will low-key be one of his greatest accomplishments. I like his odds.
  8. Very realistic list and quality players. I would rather sign Wallace then replace him for similar money in a comparable player. We do not yet know his ceiling.
  9. Would be a great pick...probably gone by 25. Seems like a big draft for O/D lineman and there's a limited amount of QB talent for all the teams that need one so you never know what else falls.
  10. Most sensible take. He could also be looking to dial up the pressure with GB management, indirectly. The pitchfork and torch crowd here forgets that his team badly needed a better WR2 to "win now" and inexplicably used a 1st to draft his replacement. That management has fk'd the team, ARod and their fan base out of several SB runs. OBD would burn to the ground if the same thing played out here during Josh prime years and he would be martyred.
  11. The NFL really needs a system for future tinkering. SMFH
  12. 1. Born a fan in 1970 2. First memory was "The juice is loose" 3. My favorite memories: every time the goal posts came down. 4. Bruce Smith/JA17 5. My forum name is a salute to Lawrence Taylor (That was his college nickname). Clearly not Bills-related, but he is the best defensive player (IMHO) I have ever seen.
  13. Good call. RIP legend. Nice tribute to him last night in the pregame.
  14. It's about eyeballs on the TV And JA17 is coming off two weeks of no games but in the news daily. Hard to do! The NFL is watching....and maybe, just maybe, they want to finally market around a Bills player And If EA Sports comes calling......Say "NO" to Madden cover Josh!!!!
  15. Petty for the win. Prince's SB halftime show was, of course, legendary as well
  16. Interesting.... One one hand, if he is guaranteed a job in broadcasting, he can enjoy a very low stress lifestyle compared to coaching in the NFL On the other: you have to have a major competitive fire burning to get to where he is now....that doesn't just vanish and he's very young in NFL HC terms. LA, for some reason, is one coaching situation/fan base that I can see a champion HC walking away from and not going for the repeat. There's just a "meh" to everything bout LA pro football.
  17. He reached deep and found more sauce he even knew he had in that game. So fortunate to have him. Dynasties are launched in those moments. Here's hoping!
  18. It was another dark, unfortunate, moment in Buffalo professional sports to add to the pile. It deserves to be with Wide Right, Homerun Throwback, No Goal...and involved a historic defensive (and coaching) collapse. 13 seconds ripped those old wounds open. So - not really an overreaction.
