  1. Yes we can only hope a Patriot gets the cover, hell no to voting for SJ.
  2. Pats will win the division again but I think Buffalo has a good chance to finish second and maybe get a Wildcard this year. They will go as far as Fitzpatrick can take them... and judging by his finish last season, I'm not too confident. I'm hoping that improvements around him will enable him to play the position better.
  3. Why the hell would Manning want to play in Miami?? To barely make the playoffs and lose to NE every year?
  4. Looking at Eli's 2 Superbowl runs, he may be a better big game QB than his brother but it is close. Eli has def had the better supporting cast around him though. Do the Giants not win either SB with Peyton at QB instead of Eli?
  5. Couldn't agree more. First things first, you need to get a Franchise QB anyway you can. Even though the Pats haven't drafted too well, they have landed studs like Gronkowski and Hernandez because of the fact that they have so many draft picks each year. The likelihood of hitting on them increases. I think Buffalo is starting to understand this. However, i think you do whatever it takes to get your QB first even if that means giving up picks to land him. After that, stockpile draft picks anyway you can. The last time the Bills were good, they had a Franchise QB. In today's NFL, you can't have a 3-4 year rebuild. A lot of guys you had in that first year of the rebuild will be gone, that is the nature of the NFL today. Injuries, free agency, new rookie scale, salary cap are all reasons why you see teams who are terrible one year, make the playoffs the next. The Bills being the obvious exception.
  6. If only the season was 6 weeks long.. don't cherry pick the good games early in the year. Look at the entire season, teams figured him out and that he can't throw past ten yards with any sort of consistent accuracy. He misses guys that are wide open and either throws into the ground or the wrong team way too much. He led the league in picks! I don't think you have a clue. Watch the games.
  7. The Bills have been mediocre for a decade +, never getting that really high pick to pick an elite game changer or blowing a high pick on trash. They probably should try to make a trade to move up but they surely won't - Not with the brains running this team. We will pick where slotted the entire draft, unfortunately. This Franchise needs to make a bold move to get out of the basement and somehow bring in a real QB. Fitz is absolutely not the guy. What will this be, his 7th year? Look at his stats, win %, or his play on the field. Nothing there convinces me he will ever be the QB that this team needs to win and ultimately win a SB. This is a QB driven league now and will be even more so in the future. Look at the 2 defenses in the SB this year, terrible all year long with a late push by the Giants D. Stop referencing Dilfer winning a SB... That team had one of the greatest defenses of all time and that was over ten years ago. Also, Gailey is an offensive mind who loves to have his QB throw. Bring in a QB! Just because Fitz is marginally better than JP/Edwards/Insert trash QB/ he is just another mediocre player at the most important position in the game.
  8. I like Foles, not so much Moore. He is too small and has no arm. Also, not that the Bills have a chance but I'm worried about the durability of RG3, he isn't Cam Newton. Newton is built like a truck and RG3 def doesn't look 220.
  9. He isn't coming here... just a dream.
  10. While Fisher isn't a "God" he is a better coach than Gailey and has gotten a team to the big game. I'd rather him be going to STL so this works out.
  11. He will def get a contract worth more than that by someone. If he would accept that from Buffalo, they should be all over it.
  12. Bring him back if the price is reasonable. Some team will overpay badly for him. He doesn't have reliable hands, isn't clutch, isn't fast, and is a me-first player. You don't overpay for these guys. He wants top 5 money and is at best top 15.
  13. I was sold after the first game this season vs TCU where he threw for 350+ and 5 TDs. I wasn't too familiar with him before that game but heard he was solid. He blew me away with his throwing touch and accuracy- especially w/ the deep ball hitting guys perfectly in stride. He went on to do it all season long vs good teams.
  14. can someone quote what he says? I have no sound atm.
  15. Exactly, they need to at least see what it would take to move up. Unfortunately the Bills will probably do nothing, keep Fitz, and draft exactly where they are slotted.
  16. I don't know the exact number but it seemed like a lot. Maybe 6-8 were on the receiver having the ball hit them and then fly into the air for an easy pick. Spiller did this like 3 times at least. That said, Fitz threw it to the other team quite a bit.
  17. Sign me up for a WR with that #10 pick. After watching a QB (brad smith) and a RB(spiller) try to play wideout it is painfully obvious this team needs another WR to compliment SJ. With that said they Def need to resign stevie. I don't think there is a player on the defensive side of the ball at the tenth pick that will make as significant an impact as a top WR can for this offense, especially the way Chan calls games. I think there can be improvement from Fitz as well if he has better targets.
  18. They finally got somewhat healthy and are playing good now... didn't they lose like 5 starters or something ridiculous early on this season in the secondary alone?
  19. Now this guy is a game changer. Could not be stopped last night at all, a real impressive game. Unfortunately he will no doubt be gone by pick #10.
