ESPN had a stat showing they called more PI in week 1 this year than the last 2 season openers combined.. Refs have nothing to do with Fitz throwing it to the opposing team.. Chan is not an offensive genius either.

Nothing really surprises me anymore with this team... I'm expecting another beat down and 0-2 record. I hope I'm wrong. The biggest thing I'm looking for are pregame and in-game adjustments by the coaches.. This isn't a talent depleted roster yet. They should be getting more out of these guys. I want to see our secondary play physical at the line, get these guys active maybe throw in a safety or corner blitz... Having them play 10 yards off is not going to cut it.

Boy it's been a rough century hasn't it.. Bills coaches don't make adjustments ever. It was clear as day what the Jets wanted to do after the first drive of the game, it is too bad the entire coaching staff refuses to switch up and can their game plan after it was obviously flawed. Let's rush 4 against their 6 and see what happens.... Our awful secondary has enough in coverage to literally double every single receiver/TE yet they play 10 yards off and lose their man every single play. I'm sorry but coaching needs to be looked at seriously..

Even with this sorry a$$ schedule, they will probably only win 6-7 games. Luck will feast on them in Indy. Gabbert and Bradford will probably have career days too.

It's like they always sit back and wait for the offense to do their thing until they attempt to stop it.. Why can't this defense ever dictate to the offense, give and take things away in which they want. Play bump and run, blitz some LBs/Safeties, Stunt, GAMEPLAN, anything... The last time I saw a Gameplan executed was vs Phily last year in which they got to Vick..

They didn't have any huge long runs but were consistently churning out 3-4 yards every time they ran it.. For a team like the Jets, that is what they need out of the run game.. The Bills D didn't blow up any running plays for loss that I can remember.

Well the D seriously cannot play any worse if they tried. It was a pathetic performance. You would think that it will only be better from this point forward but who knows. They looked confused and uninspired, timid and afraid of the moment. Fitz is still the QB so expect some more great throws.

Vince Young is hot garbage.. That is all.

I never understood the 10-6, 11-5 predictions this summer, they lost 8 of 9 games to close last season. They added a few players on defense and changed their D coordinator... does that account for a 4-5 game swing in number of wins? Their defense is bad and they have a really below average QB.

But he is so versatile.

Probably the most frustrating thing about this team the past several years.. They NEVER make any adjustments during the game.. What you see early is what you get late.. They have way too much faith in a backwards game plan and fail to realize it won't work after going down 21+ points.

He always has decent coverage.. that is not the knock against him.. He has absolutely zero ball skills. He can blanket a guy all the way down the field it won't matter because the QB just needs to throw it near the WR and the WR will always come down with it. See the entire season last year.. or yesterday's game for a refresher.

It is sad that there isn't even a young QB prospect on the roster now or throughout the past few seasons.. Why was Fitz entitled the starter position after proving that he was mediocre before he got here and after the season he played here? Being mediocre at best, management still decided to not even take a flier on a QB in some of the later rounds of these past drafts (not 7th round Levi Brown). This is another wasted losing season. It should at least be a losing season with a young learning but capable QB who has some promise..

You know the Bills will win some meaningless games throughout the season to screw up their draft position again. They need to take whatever QB they can get in the first round... Trade up if there is a guy that they really like.

This... extremely thin to even start the game. 1 injury and now we are in the same exact position as last year.. With a WR core that scares no one in an offense that relies way to much on them. Fire everyone. Also - has Stevie Johnson had a groin injury for a full year now.. how has that not healed in the off season? He is a number 2 disguised as a number 1 anyway.
