You're much higher on Ferrell than I am, but other than that we're pretty close. Here's how I've got it: 1. Ed Oliver - DT/Houston 2. Nick Bosa - EDGE/Ohio State 3. Josh Allen - EDGE/Kentucky 4. Quinnen Williams - DL/Alabama 5. Devin White - LB/LSU 6. Kyler Murray - QB/Oklahoma 7. Jawaan Taylor - OT/Florida ------------------------------------- 8. T.J. Hockenson - TE/Iowa 9. Christian Wilkins - DT/Clemson 10. Montez Sweat - EDGE/Miss St. ------------------------------------ 11. Rashan Gary - DL/Michigan 12. Brian Burns - EDGE/Florida State 13. Garrett Bradbury - C/NC State 14. Marquise Brown - WR/Oklahoma 15. Jonah Williams - C/Alabama 16. Greedy Williams - CB/LSU 17. Cody Ford - OT/Oklahoma 18. Rock Ya-Sin - CB/Temple 19. Devin Bush - LB/Michigan 20. Andre Dillard - OT/Washington State 21. Dexter Lawrence - DT/Clemson 22. D.K. Metcalf - WR/Ole Miss EDIT: I should note that I would probably have Simmons in my top group, but man, I can't get over that brutal DV issue enough to put him in round 1. Especially with the injury.

Um, thanks for the education, but I don't see it that way. I've got a top group of Oliver, Bosa, Q. Williams, Allen, White, Taylor, and Murray. After that, I've got a very small tier 2 of Wilkins, Hockenson, and Sweat. And the joke was more about how at this point in the process, every year, without fail, you get Kiper and McShay proclaiming that everyone and their brother will be a top-10 pick.

Bills have interest in Seattle DE Frank Clark
thebandit27 replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not really. They have enough cap room to sign their draft picks right now, and can create more by letting go of guys like Mychal Kendricks or Jaron Brown if they wanted to do so. If they don't get an offer that they like, they'll let Clark walk after the season and get a 3rd round compensatory pick for him in 2021. -

Indeed. That, and the Beane-Gaine relationship, are why I'd expect a deal for Clowney before I'd expect one for Clark. -
Well, if that were the case, wouldn't they also not have the time to interview the kid, get a photo with his family, screen print a jersey for him, show pics of his girlfriend, etc? My issue is more with how they allocate the time that they do have

Gunner's 2019 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
thebandit27 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see a lot of similarities between Murray and Mayfield, but I don't think Murray has anywhere near the touch passing game or pocket presence as Baker. I have Lock ahead of Haskins, as I am utterly unconvinced that Haskins can make boundary throws reliably, and I think his ability to drop it in the bucket on deep balls is lacking. That said, I have both rated as day 2 picks. Overall though, really nice work as usual -
Daniel Jeremiah is my preferred analyst, but draft coverage in general kind of stinks now. Way too much time spent on interviewing the player just picked with limited analysis of the player and practically zero attention paid to the team on the clock. Used to be they'd talk about who was on the clock, their offseason approach, what players are on the board, and then get the pick. Then they'd analyze the pick in detail, show some tape breakdowns, and get a quick interview in before moving on to the team on the clock.

Gunner and I have occasioned to differ on draft prospects, but you're talking to a guy that had Dak rated as a 2nd rounder when the rest of the world called him a late day 3 guy. He may not always be right, but he's well worth listening to IMO

10 draft picks - Gotta trade up
thebandit27 replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think there's a fair chance that Buffalo will trade back up into the 1st round somewhere in the late 20's. We know that Baltimore would like to move back, and they have the 22nd pick. Buffalo swung a trade with them to move up last year; could it happen again? Another possible landing spot would be Oakland at the 27th pick. If they decide that they don't want to be in a position where they'll have to pay 3 first rounders a few years down the road, they could decide to drop back and gain a few picks. In that case, you might see Buffalo give up picks 40, 74, and a 5th rounder to move up to 27. Sure, Beane & Co. would be down to zero day 2 picks, but they'd still have 6 picks on day 3. Of course, with that many day 3 picks, they could package them and move back into the end of round 3 if there's someone there that they really lie. -

AJ Green to Jets Trade rumor chatter on Twitter
thebandit27 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you say so. IMO, when GMs miss that badly on guys that folks on this very board said were quality NFL players, it's bad on them. This is what they get paid to do. -

Ok...and? -

Pretty similar; Anderson didn't get on the field as much since the Jets had pretty solid players in front of him in Enunwa and Marshall, but--like Foster--he showed big-play potential and became a reliable target by the end of his rookie year. -

I'm sure they did, but even Tyreek Hill got drafted in the 5th round. That Anderson went undrafted was a crime. I think we'd all agree that, despite how much I may study the draft, I'm hardly an expert, and I saw him coming a mile away. -
It's not a Brown Recluse, so there's nothing to worry about. It doesn't look like a black widow either...there are black widows in WNY, but their reputation is far scarier than the effects of being bitten by one. Sure, a little kid could get pretty sick/inflamed from a bite, but you almost certainly aren't going to die from it.

thebandit27 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I say this every year: Miller is a good talent evaluator, but he doesn't have reliable draft info. He's likely just reading tea leaves here...and he may end up being right, but don't put any additional emphasis on this tidbit is all I'm saying -

Draft: Guys that PFF loves more than the consensus

They've got my boy Scharping in there, so good on them for that. Why they've missed the boat on J-Love and Bobby O, I'll never know.
