  1. Uh oh...somebody finally caught on to my boy...
  2. As am I! I had a feeling that they'd come away with 3. It was a great year to do so with the volume that was in the market. Looking ahead to next offseason, when the team will be in a similar position cap-wise, they could do the same thing at pass rusher and WR. For pass rushers, guys that are slated to be UFAs include Lawrence, Clowney, Frank Clark, Dante Fowler, Mario Addison, Whitney Mercilus, Leonard Williams, Bud Dupree, Yannick Ngakoue, and others. At WR, you've got Amari Cooper, Sterling Shepard, Tyler Boyd, Tyreek Hill, Robby Anderson, Michael Thomas, and AJ Green currently slated to hit the market.
  3. So, @YoloinOhio, do you now believe that Beane will come up with 3 starting OLmen in free agency?
  4. We don't. Some of us have watched him since college and know what kind of player he is.
  5. I'll pound the table for your draft evaluations any day man. Even if we often differ on QBs.
  6. If you're approaching the draft with the mentality of filling holes, then you've already lost
  7. So you think Beane works out a deal with his old pal Gettleman and gets to 6 for Eddie O? Giants drop to 9 and take Lock?
  8. Would I? No. Should they? Only if they believe that the guy they're targeting is a future all pro.
  9. Depends. If Murray goes 1 and Bosa 2, then you've got to watch the 3 hole. If a QB hungry team moves up for Haskins, or the team that picks at 3 goes with Allen, then you could be in business at 4 for QW. Best possible scenario (assuming Beane wants QW) is that the Jets take DK and Oakland goes for flash and takes R Gary. Absolutely.
  10. SF and the Jets are the two most likely teams to move back.
  11. Eric Galko has no idea what's up with Josh Rosen: https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2018/02/josh_rosen_to_the_buffalo_bills_is_what_ive_heard_repeatedly_says_eric_galko.html
  12. Hey, some of us like to call it before it happens, while some prefer to report it afterward
  13. Supposedly they're at an impasse: https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/nfl/dallas-cowboys/article228454029.html
  14. You did say that they'd take Murray and trade Rosen (albeit for a 4th rounder, which I thought was lunacy). I still think that the GM who traded up for Rosen, only to see his team finish dead last in the NFL, and then trade the guy for a day 2 pick, should prepare his resume, because that's a horrible use of resources.
  15. Agreed...you've basically come around to where I've been for a while: That's not intended to be a diss by the way; I think more folks should pay attention to positional value over player ability when it comes to first round picks.
  16. I get what you're saying, but IMO it's even worse to take a blocking TE at 9. If you take a blocker at 9, take a LT. For me, the premium positions (QB, WR, LT, CB, pass rusher) are the first round go-tos. Everything else can be had on days 2-3 fairly reliably.
  17. I'd think he had a solid career, but how many times was Heath Miller the best pass catcher on his team, or even in the top 3 pass catchers on his own team? I guess where I'm going is that TE just isn't a premium position to the point where I want to spend a first round pick on it, let alone a top 10 pick.
  18. He had fewer receptions than 2 other players at that point. He was basically a one-trick pony for them. I'm not saying he can't be good, but I am most certainly saying buyer beware
  19. Which begs the question: why was he the #3 WR on his own team in college?
  20. Only 2 TEs in the NFL last year had over 1,000 yards. Is Hockenson definitely that guy? Even if he is, does that make the difference between having a lousy offense and a top-10 offense? Unless the answer to both of those questions is yes, my opinion is that you don't even consider it.
  21. Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter 54m54 minutes ago More Arizona St. WR N’Keal Harry, who impressed during his Pro Day today in front of all 32 teams, is scheduled to meet with the Cardinals, Broncos, Detroit, Buffalo and Saints, per source.
  22. I realize that--despite being the titular character--he's probably the least important casting in the film, but man, that really bursts my bubble when I was hoping for a Dwayne Johnson-type.
