  1. I thought he was a holy roller
  2. Not for a wildcard. Would be a pathetic look. If/when they clinch an AFC East crown? I would be all for it.
  3. Texans AND Chiefs. And the Bills win out. Not even considering Pats losing to Cincinnati or Miami
  4. SF/NE Superbowl. SF/Garoppolo wins. Brady retires. NE to the abyss for years.
  5. He definitely appears diminished. The defense and coaching are elite. If NE wins the Superbowl, I would be shocked if he tries to return for 2020. No matter what, I also expect the Patriots to immediately get serious about the replacement, unless they are grooming Stidham.
  6. Ugh. The Miami and Kent State games...
  7. They have a bunch of money coming off this year.... however, only 1 player leaving is a contract not signed or acquired by potato head, and that is Bogosian.... Thank heavens that Berglund guy decided to quit and lose millions
  8. Im fairly certain that Botterill is a worse GM than Murray. Awful.
  9. Yes It feels like video review in sports has gotten well past the critical mass and has diminished the sport(s). I think a hard reset needs to be done and everything reeled back to 1987 as far as that goes. Slowly introduce replay again one thing at a time until a hard reset is needed down the line. I really hate the feeling of being happy about a play, but needing to wait until the next play (or a review confirmation) in order to really be happy. I miss the days where an umpire called a play at the plate and that was the locked-in result. Sports are more fun and emotionally charged that way. Even with mistakes.
  10. No. Lamar Jackson is a rock head. Watch him speak Bradshaw is too... but the 70s are different than 2019 when it is basically high tech intelligence warfare on a football field. Racial? One of the best leaders of men in the NFL is Russell Wilson
  11. That is true. Seems like he isn't a great communicator, analytical type, or leader of men. Making a large judgement based on small sample size, but I don't know. I remember during the draft, he was slipping and they showed him sitting with his mom. In an obvious attempt to not look "unhappy", Jackson engaged in some sort of strange peekaboo game with the camera as him and his mom were laughing and having a good time. He looked like a child.
  12. I agree with this. If its not a concussion(s), it will be a torn knee, broken ribs, separated shoulder, collarbone, etc. Jackson will lose a step (and time) with each injury. This day and age, these guys hit too hard and you do not want your QB taking hits. You also take the risk, especially in that AFC North of someone taking a cheap shot. Allen takes too much contact for my liking. I like the Tom Brady level of sustainability by not putting his body in danger. I do not believe Lamar Jackson has the brains to be anything other than a human highlight reel QB. If/when he is hobbled, he will be in big trouble. But yeah, I was wrong so far. I didnt think he would get far out of the gate and absolutely did not want the Bills to touch him
  13. How many times has he been loaded with or needed weapons though? Outside of Gronkowski and a year of Randy Moss, everything is replaceable (including Edelman). It is all about scheme and Brady's cerebral ability and preparation. Losing Gronkowski hurts bad at this age. Just need to chuck it anywhere near him and he goes and gets it. The offense clearly isn't the same, and it leaves Brady a bit more on the hook to make better throws.
  14. Not done He is definitely at the lowest grade he has been in his career though. They have made it work with the defense this season. The head is still there though, as the synergy with mcdaniels, belichick, and edelman
  15. me too. I looked him up, and he has decent enough numbers in other seasons. He had the 94 catch season that stood out though.
  16. Do rudolph's actions even suggest a fine if in a vacuum without garrett's insane escalation? Pulled on his helmet a little. Came at him hard on his feet, but that was after getting dragged around the ground by his facemask.
  17. Ace job on the suspensions imo. I think a fine to rudolph would have been appropriate though
  18. Garrett for the season Pouncey for 2 games (not listed) for kicking/punching well after the situation was basically under control and Garrett was restrained. Rudolph and Ogunjobi fines
  19. It started with him giving Rudolph a late hit suplex with 8 seconds left and the game decided.
  20. If i had to bet, its 4 games. I think it should be remainder of the season
