  1. They had Porta Potties in the past (and no charge for parking), when it was HD Supply. The lot is a little further from the stadium (approx. 0.6 mi), but there are always a lot of Bills fans in that area because of Tavern on the Tracks. The lot is now owned by a new company and since it's opening weekend, I am not 100% sure. I'm hoping it will be the same. At the very least we plan to start there and find an adjacent lot with facilities (if necessary).
  2. I live in Charlotte. We're planning to tailgate across the street from Tavern on the Tracks. Probably going to bring the whole family and watch on TV in the parking lot.
  3. After this post, you could have closed the thread.
  4. "Also this whole problem could have been solved by Drafting Mahomes or Watson with our 10th pick." "Taylor is a bridge QB. I like him he's pretty good. But he won't win you any playoff games or Super Bowls with him." "You can't play QB like he does and win tuff games against good opponents." "Taylor holds the ball the longest." ***WARNING: THOSE ARE ALL OPINIONS. Those are NOT facts. I tend to believe the data, since Fahey did some actual research and compiled the data on 33 different QBs. That information has substance and/or value. You are trying to pass off your opinions as facts, which seems to be a common problem these days. Would you be willing to provide some value for your claims by backing them up with examples or facts? By the way, the first one (about future events) is going to be tough.
  5. Good post. It hurts to lose players to the Pats...we all hate them. And it's easy for the talking heads to justify it by saying the Pats are just superior in every way.... but if you're really honest with yourself - Hogan, Gilmore and Gillislee weren't worth that much $ to our team. They didn't represent a good value. (Gillislee may have been worth the money, but not when you get a 5th round pick in return.) Maybe Whaley should get more credit. He never wanted Rex. He must have know it was a bad personnel fit. He has made some great pickups, but he has some weaknesses - we all do. I hope he gets and honest chance with Coach Opie. Also, after Father Time catches up with Tom Brady, let's see if "Belichick the Genius" continues his winning ways or rides off into the sunset.
  6. What exactly have Dak, Wentz, Mariota and Winston done? Oh, I forgot Dak is Brett Favre after 1 regular season. (Watch him choke on Sunday.....but he's already better than TT because he makes all the throws.) Let's keep rolling the dice on drafting QB's....instead of trying to develop a QB on our roster that can win games. Great plan - we've proven over the last 17 years how EASY it is to draft a QB when you need one. Oak and Pit - Defense was really incredible in both of those games.
  7. Sure, that's because there is absolutely nothing more important to discuss. Why talk about McDermott? The decision has already been made.
  8. My biggest hang up is his contract explodes next year. I think everyone is misinformed. TT cap number by year (according to Over The Cap): 2017 $15,913,334 2018 $16,780,000 2019 $17,380,000 2020 $17,630,000 2021 $17,650,000 Alex Smith: 2016 $17,800,000 2017 $16,900,000 2018 $20,600,000 Brock Osweiler: 2017 $19,000,000 2018 $21,000,000 2019 $20,000,000
  9. From here on out, I say we give every coach 2 years. If you don't make the playoffs...you're FIRED. Even better - if you DO make the playoffs, you get an automatic 10 year contract extension. Let's base all of our future decisions on the past 15 years. Great plan.
  10. I'm with you. Tyrod is still our best option. Give him another year.
  11. I vote for patience. It's painful, but we need some stability in this organization. Everybody wants to change everything darn thing if you don't win immediately. Take your pick - QB, Coach, GM or all of the above. Alternatively, Carson Wentz was compared to Brett f'n Favre 3 weeks into the season. I can't wait to see what happens when Dak chokes in the postseason. We'll never make the playoffs if we keep changing every 2 years. You have to stay the course, suffer through the bad breaks and learn to win as a team. Keep Tyrod. Keep Rex. Keep it all the same for at least 2 more seasons.
  12. If you're single and don't have kids, I'll give you a pass because you don't understand. If you're married and/or have kids and think Charles Clay should miss his child's birth for a football game - you're an idiot.
  13. In related news, John Clayton says Tyrod Taylor will be playing in Denver next season.
  14. It was exactly the same number of times I said, "Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber worse, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself! You may not like his ability as a pocket passer, but you can't deny that he doesn't turn the ball over, he makes plays and puts the team in a position to win. I agree that he's not a typical "franchise QB", but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be the Bills QB for the foreseeable future. I believe you call this type of QB a "game manager". Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer are game managers that won a Super Bowl. I would argue Tyrod abilities surpass either one of them, but we'll call them equal for this argument. By that logic, if our defense was dominant, then we'd be Super Bowl contenders. The team has to learn how to win, not just Tyrod. Our defense should be MUCH better.
  15. eels slay yea eye lays ales sly eyes
  16. I'm not really one for conspiracy theories, but maybe Roman saw an opportunity to become Head Coach and was dogging it. One theory was Rex fired Roman because he was the most qualified to take over as Head Coach if he were to get fired during the season. Maybe there's some truth to that, but Roman was holding back and planned to unleash the offense once he took over. Similar to Jason Garrett when he was OC and helped get Wade fired. The next week Dallas' offense could score points all of a sudden. Not likely, but it's possible.
  17. I agree. I originally was thinking 31, but I'm good with 38. Oline comes up big and the offense turns it around this week. McCoy goes for 100+ and 2TDs. (Stevie Johnson Jet Crashing GIF here.)
  18. Agreed. Move away from the ledge....I remember when we beat the Panthers Week 2 (Sept. 15, 2013). The fans here in Charlotte were determined to run Cam out of town - he had "no accuracy" or "pocket presence". The entire week following the loss, fans here were saying that he was garbage and the team was terrible. They wanted to blow it up and start over....they started 1-3 and finished 12-4 that year. Keep in mind, this was the same year that we (Bills fans) determined that Kiko Alonso was equivalent to Chuck Norris. 2013 was Cam's 3rd season. This is Tyrod's 2nd season as a starter. Give the guy a break, the offense was collectively bad on Sunday. Road game. Glenn got injured in the first half. Reggie Bush ran backwards all day. McCoy missed a key block on 3rd down. A mIssed FG. And we were still one play away from sneaking a win....because the defense played really well (without Dareus). That alone is reason to be optimistic - our defense could be really nasty. Only 1/16th = 6.25% of the season has been played, so let's just agree with Todd Snider that "It's Too Soon To Tell" and go on a "Beer Run", so we can get ready for Thursday Night!!!
  19. What are you looking at? The rule states "forcible contact with the crown of the helmet". (The crown of the helmet is the top of his helmet.) It never touches Cam. (The side of his helmet does, but that's not the crown.)
