Though I think he's good enough to start as a rookie, if he's not ready he sits behind someone like spikes and learns.we can still get a WR OT TE in rounds 2-4. This draft is deep but a LB like Mack is an impact guy that you have to take top ten.

I think having a label on the "base" defense doesn't mean a lot when down and distance a lot of times dictates the set. I will give Marrone and company credit for getting a coach who's strength has been this team's glaring weakness. Here's hoping they bring in a few key players (run stuffing ILB and maybe another beast D lineman) via free agency or the draft and shore up this defense. I am worried about the O though... Gonna be an interesting off season.

Looks like it was to buy some time. If they had a plan it should of been executed immediately one to give the new DC as much time as possible and two so the organization doesn't look like it got caught with its pants around its ankles. (That's what it looks like to me) thoughts? LV

No to Wade simply because he will change scheme. I think this defense if it stays the same with Henderson or O'neill taking over at DC will progress even further as our players will be more comfortable in the scheme. Can we please be smart for once and actually have some scheme continuity? LV

I disagree. Teams like Buffalo who are not just a player or two away gain value in trading down to mid to late first round and picking up a second. They are in essense hoping for 3 quality players/starters in the first 3 picks. That's how you build a good team. Last year perfect example. Jury still out on EJ but look at Kiko and flash. One starts and one will be very good with more exp. LV

I agree. Find a trade down partner take the TE . Then with the extra second take the best available run stuffing backer and best available road grater OG. We do that and we'd have a great draft.

JW Wish that Marrone didn't show favoritism to Crossman and relieved him of his duties as well. It seems that won't happen and I believe his credibility will suffer for it. It already has with a lot of us here. LV

Started a thread about this last summer. Seems like a lot of tbders have changed their opinion to be pro hard knocks. To be honest the off season which usually starts around Thanksgiving is a dark time. If the Bills don't care about fielding a good product, at least let HBO make it entertaining for us.

I don't think you can give Manuel anything but an incomplete. He did some good things and also some boneheaded rookie things. He also has some mechanical and progression things to work through. I think its important that Marrone gets EJ a good QB coach to workon these things in the ooff season. My gut says the kid will be fine.

In. Marrones case I think he is still cutting his NFL coaching teeth. This roster is far from bereft of talent but its still not set. If you don't want to give him 3 seasons that's fine.lord knows I don't want another losing season either but this off season is absolutely crucial. Let's see come august if he's done what he has to to get this team ready for a playoff run. If not much has happened or not enough than you know Ralphie boy us still holding the puppet strings.this fan base is tired of all the horse puckey.

As much as it sucks at the end of another unsuccessful season to say anything positive about the Bills coaching staff it's important to give Marrone a d company more than a season to clean up the mess. I believe that they know there are holes to fill and as hard as it is we must allow them time to get rolling. He gets 3 seasons. If not back to the drawing board but let's give the man his legimate shot. LV

I would love for the season to end with 3 straight wins. It would say a lot about this team moving forward. Unfortunately I don't think we're there just yet. Too much inconsistency on offense and a road game against New England is a difficult enough feat for a playoff caliber team let alone our Bills. Patriots 28 Bills. 10

Russ Brandon. Wilson's ambassador of bullcrap and deceit. He's good at feeding the fan base bullcrap for Wilson with infusion of hope and success. Wilson's Padawon has learned in the 13 yes he's been here that it's Ralph's money and A hardy F U to the fans as long as that money keeps streaming in screw the onfield product. 4 Nate Hackett. He has some decent play calls from time to time but is severely mishandling and underutilizing the talent on this offense with unimaginative and predictable 1st down up the middle running plays for no yardage. He needs to do a better job or Marrone's buttbuddy needs to pound sand.

Shame on you. Its Christmas and your not even gonna share those outstanding drugs you have with the rest of us.
