Oof. Yeah. *sips*

Year 8 for him. I'd say it's more about being average than being figured out.

There's no inherent virtue to spreading the ball around to WRs in your passing game. I'm way more encouraged by the improved rushing attack than I am dismayed by the lack of a WR2. The Rams recently won a SB in which everyone knew Cooper Kupp would be targeted 10-15 times, but it didn't matter because the top players in this league just get the job done.

Other contenders played ugly games yesterday and actually lost - Eagles and 49ers, and I don't think Bills fans feel like those teams are bad now. In the NFL you rack up the wins necessary to get to the playoffs and then try to catch fire.

I hate the offseason.

Done. Bills fans are the best. I must insist that nothing happen to Tim Settle though, for the sake of our collective finances.

Tre White Injury Updates (Torn Achilles now confirmed)
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have to say this absolutely broke my heart and I could barely enjoy the rest of the win. This isn’t the first time a player was moved to tears being carted away but I’ve never seen that sort of reaction beforehand. Tre was such a crucial part of this franchise’s turnaround. It’s easy to forget because now we have a handful of them but he was the only elite player on this team for a couple years. In his prime he had this knack for making game sealing plays. Not to mention a hilarious and warm human. This absolutely blows. Win him a ring, boys.- 436 replies

McD much better D coordinator than Frazier
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get the sense that he should have been playing to this strength all along but he was a new HC who the organization probably figured was better off delegating. Which is logical and yet sometimes you have to embrace what you’re best at. -
Bills open -4.5 vs Jags. (Now -5.5)

I’m staying away from the line here. London game is just bound to be weird in one way or another. -
Dolphins @ Bills Postgame thread

The notion of Tua in an MVP race is absurd. Noodle arm QB blessed with unprecedented speed weapons and bizarre INT luck. -

Gimmick has a negative connotation. I'm not about to second guess someone who's putting up yardage like this. -
He's trying to give himself the ***** to get out of watching film.

Week 3: Buffalo (-6.5) at Washington
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm smashing that bet all season. He's going to be the guy from the goal line all season. You can already tell that they're trying to smash Josh into D-linemen less than before. -
McD 100 Games Sunday, His Best Games
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
This post prompted me to watch some highlights from McD's first season in 2017. It was cool seeing how the core of our secondary (Hyde, Poyer, White) is largely the same group. Not often that you see that in the NFL for 7 whole seasons. Also funny to see some Bills I'd forgotten had a stint here...Jordan Matthews, Leonard Johnson, Mike Tolbert, Logan Thomas, Andre Holmes. The biggest point, though is, that was a BAD roster. That was a roster that was built for 3-13 and it's the one that broke the streak. McD has had bad moments but that season is enough evidence that he has coaching prowess that extends beyond just picking up Josh Allen. -
I think it's foolish to pretend that Miami hasn't built a good team that will challenge for the AFC East. Mind you, I'd still bet on the Bills, but count me surprised if we have it locked up before Week 17 or 18. As for the rest of the AFC, yeah it's good to see KC and Cincy not looking too dynamic at the moment. Any losses they take on now help us get that elusive first round bye. With that in mind we also did them a big favor in Week 1.

Yeah Bill, it was easier with that other guy under center wasn't it?

Raiders ran a grand total of 39 plays on offense. -
Can we talk about Gabe Davis's performance?

I'm not saying Kincaid doesn't have this kind of talent. I'm not even really saying that I think you'll be proven wrong or anything. But don't you think that taking one game where a rookie caught 4/4 targets with minuscule depths of target and suggesting he should now be game planned around as the second best option is premature? Do you want a 13-3 team from the previous year making snap personnel decisions based on Monday when there are 4 months to go? It just feels like everyone is reaching for a different panic button after Week 1 when we're already seeing evidence that Week 1's are just going to be weird in this age where starters barely take preseason snaps.
