I love this “ownership” model. I wish the Bills could copy it.

The regular season is better than halfway in the bag. Who are three “unexpected” studs on the Bills roster at this point and who are three duds. “Unexpected” is obviously subjective but an easy example of the “expected” would be Josh Allen.
“Unexpected” Studs:
1) Dawson Knox - the Bills look like and play like a different team when he is in the lineup - definitely a step forward this season
2) Jordan Poyer - possibly not “unexpected” but he is probably the most solid all around player in a very solid defense
3) tie Levon Wallace & Taron Johnson - The secondary has been lights out all season and these two guys have been an absolutely pleasant surprise with superb play.
Duds:
1) Easy - Cody Ford - can’t imagine he will remain on the roster
2) Mongo - huge disappointment this year
3) Gabriel Davis - This is probably harsh as I like the guy (very much) but why has he mostly disappeared from the roster this year?
What are your thoughts?
Hopefully the Bills solve the O-line problems because this defense is too good to waste. Josh is an elite passer. However, he has been made mortal in games where there is no balance perceived or real with the running game. The defense can’t win games on their own.
I hear you on the Cousineau debacle but ….. Jim Kelly may have never been a Buffalo Bill without his situation. In an odd sequence OJ ….. leads to … Cousineau… who leads to …. Jim Kelly.
I know it an impossible debate but the trade up for Watkins is in my mind the worst draft move the Bills have ever made. The guy was never anything close to a game breaker talent.
The next few weeks will show how good, or not, McDermott is. His shtick has stopped working. He needs to alter his course especially with the offense. It’s really sad that the D is playing lights out and the offense has lost its way.
