Assuming that Chicago would be interested in EJ (At this point I'm not sure if they even want to be winning games, they might prefer just a pick for Jeffrey) here's my take - At some point we are probably also going to need a backup QB this season, and I think EJ gives us a better chance to win those games than Cardale right now. I'd also be intrigued to see how EJ does under Lynn. Also, for a WR to come in right now, you're probably looking at 3 weeks before he can pick up enough of the offense to contribute in a meaningful way.

The real question is if we can activate 2 Shaqs this week. Double Shaq attack. This dude sacks.

The existing rules do not allow pass interference to be challenged (either for a phantom or missed call) under any circumstances. If you're looking for a way to challenge it requires changing the rules to allow for judgement calls (at least some) to be challenged (whether it be on a turnover or on any other call.) Where would you draw the line? Do you want challenges for holding?

But they don't review a penalty on a turnover. Let's say there's an interception on a play with a missed pass interference / defensive holding call. They don't review the missed penalty, only if the defender completed the catch in bounds.

Even on turnovers, penalty calls (or non-calls) are not reviewed, they only review things like knee down, out of bounds, etc.... It sucks when things like this happen, but opening up penalties to review might also suck.

It feels a little icky rooting against our team like this, not sure I can do it.

Wound up using Salt bagels instead of making weck rolls. I also marinated the beef ahead of time in vinegar, salt, garlic and hot peppers, and cooked in the crock pot all day yesterday with celery, onion, sweet peppers, carrots, so it turned out to be more of an italian beef sandwich.
