We have known for some time now Schobel has wanted a trade to be closer to home. We didnt make a move in the draft which would have prob been best case for both parties. He doesnt really fit in the 34 either. Now I think we really need to get what we can in a trade and thank Schobel for being a great Bill and being a true professional in all this. He shouldn't retire and IMO we should honor his wish to play else where. Thanks Aaron and best of lukc to you else where... maybe even play a playoff game!

Harris is very instictive and plays a lot faster than his timed speed. Thats how he survived in college and I def saw it in the preseason and the games he played when Ellison finally got hurt. Hopefully the 34 doesnt force him out of the works.

Willis, not Poz (Or at least try really really hard) R.Clady & Limas Sweed Orakpo Ill give you Sweed, but who would you have picked? - Your arguement doesnt hold water when the majority of this board would have drafted better than the Bills have (1st round anyways) over the past decade.

Gaither would be the best LT on the team this year. He would be the best RT too. Either way, this year and movin forward, Gaither on the team improves the team. Thats my 2 cents.

Im sorry but did you guys not see how many times Freddy was stuff of short yardage last year? It was almost every time. I for one was so pissed every time they gave it to him when Lynch was on the bench. I can only think of one short yardage play that Lynch didnt make regardless of how little a hole there was. Considering the touches each back got in that situation (Freddy getting more) the proof is in the stats: Lynch 10 tds last 2 years, Jackson 5 - with both having two this past season. Lynch by my memory had many less attempts this past year too, and I rememeber jackson failing more than succeeding.

That guys form is awful figuring is back is hunched over like that guy from notre dame. Chin to the ceiling... And even with perfect form, squats can do more harm than good. Some peoples bodies just dont agree with it. There are other ways to get leg strength, but IMO its th best you can do for the big lineman at least. The skill guys not so much.

The Bills are still not going to be good. Our D is completely overhauled from last year and they are the ones who kept us in those games. Our front 7 was bad in 09, but we are going to be relying on a lot of later round rookies and out-of-position veterans when we are playing the 34. Our O has to improve simply because they cant get worse, and same could be said about the coaching and Run D, but that doesn tmean they will be good. With the improvements our division has made I still dont see us sniffing 3rd place in the AFC East. The Jets are like a stacked fantasy team, the Dolphins added 2 PB caliber guys on O and D, and the Pats have had our number for 8+ years now. The Jets/Phish we hindered by young QBs, so they should mprove with those young guys. I could see 1 or 2 wins in our division, which would leave us in last place.

Now I understant everyone has their opinion, but I just cannot justify passing on clausen that late. I really wanted the Bills to land Tebow by trading back a bit becasue I think he is going to be great. There are so many things I cannot justify, like wanting Ngata so bad and taking Whitner, thinking we just traded up for Mangold and landing McCargo, Screaming to trade up infront of the 9ers to land Willis, wondering why we took McKelvin over DRC and why we even needed another corner, still cannot figure out Maybin over Orakpo.... I dont think this years draft panned out any differednt. Again, just venting..

Welker gets 120 catches a year just running drag routes and screens because Brady just stares him down for the entire play until he is open. Now I understand Welker is good, but Roscoe could be in the exact same role and get 80-100 catches easy. We may need film of the other teams defensive signals though...

I see him as more of a cut line backer, if you know know I mean. Coleman on the other hand is a huge question mystery. I have to think there is an off the field reason he didnt get drafted. I mean the guy dominated the SEC, and who cares if he is shorter. Brandon Graham was drafted very high and he is 6'2'' I am still holding out for the tony wash signing

how sad is it that this board is so distraught that our rookie 5th rd LT went down? On teams that actually make the playoffs this wouldnt even be news, but for our sh*t team is counting on a 5th round rookie to start at the second most important position on the team....

That is a very good point. Here is my two "sense" on that pertaining to this and next year. While most people think that Mallet and Locker at the big two QBs - I dont see either being that great of prospects. Mallet is huge and so is his arm but he is very inaccurate and not consistant. Locker I have not seem much of - so I am not too opinionated on him - but I just didnt see what made some think he would be the #1 overall pick. I could see him as a late 1st guy. Next years best QB is going to be Andrew Luck from Stanford. He was the best pro prospect last year I thought, and will be a RS Soph this year. From the games I saw he will be the best pro. Now looking at this years class, Bradford Tebow and Clausen could very well be PB caliber players. I really think the Bills missed the boat passing Tebow, AND Clausen in the second. I know that has been beaten to death but who is this team going to take to be QB? I understand the argument that you cannot just take a QB to take a QB, but when do you get better value than Clausen in the second? I will never understand the Bills drafting strategy. This was the year to draft a QB...

The sooner we rid the starting unit of players like hangartner the sooner we make the playoffs. This is great news IMO. The oly bad news is now we need another G... Still wish we got John Jerry in the 3rd.
