NFL Network schedule for pre-season games
High Mark replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our CBS affiliate is Ch 8. They have carried every game in the past, but the way the NFLN is taking over broadcasts of some games, you never know. -
And because Hangartner blows. Getting the better player to center would be a plus IMO
-
Matt Moore and Kyle Orton are set to be FAs in 2011. Whether they resign or not, that may free up other Qbs on those rosters (Quinn/Tebow/Clausen). Those are some potential options outside of the draft. Just thinking outloud.

One of our best defensive players not starting
High Mark replied to thebillsbiz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought you were talking about K Williams and G Wilson. And yes, I am completely ok with an average LB coming back from major knee surgery not starting,. -
I dont care how much Troupe weighs. Jay Ratliff weighs like 305 - Id take that type of production every day of the week.
-
I couldnt care less about weight. Id take Jay Ratlif production out of Troup, and he is only 305 or some sh-t

NFL Network schedule for pre-season games

I assume the games are also on local tv? If not, any die hard in the Roch area is welcome to watch the preseason games at my place. 52" HD TV. You bring the beer -
FALSE LEE EVANS: Signed a four-year, $37.25 million contract extension through 2012. The deal includes $18.25 million guaranteed. Averages to 9.31 mill/yr with 4.56 mill guaranteed/yr http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...t=nfl&id=26 RANDY MOSS: three-year deal worth $27 million. the deal included guarantees of $15 million Averages to 9 mill/yr with 5 mill/yr guaranteed. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3274806. - The only way Moss makes 4 mil more than Evans is basically Moss hits every one of his incentives, and Evans doesn't hit any. Either way its absurd to think they two players nearly identical contracts.
-
Say what you want about Evans, but there is no excuse for him making more money than Randy Moss.
-
Good RBs break those tackles routinely. So now they are eliminating hitting RBs who arent tackled yet? Talk about encouraging bad football...
-
Not a huge deal? Thats a HUGE deal? The guy played 40% of his teams D snaps in college because of his conditioning. Now he fails a conditioning test to even practice. Great player with great talent but its all for not if he cant stay in shape.

Bills' defense has a new look for 2010

That is one of the only things I have been happy with this off season. The 34 I feel has been able to do more with less in recent eyars. -
Chester Pitts working out for Buffalo
High Mark replied to Lothar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why? T. Washington was easily a 2nd round talent in the draft and is sitting on the FA market and could be had for a 1 year minimum salary contract with no guaranteed money and no liabilities. O but your angry about something he did when he was 16. He is not some sexual deviant, and I care more about winning football games. The Bills should man up and sign this kid. Its a $1 bet that could have a million dollar return, and if anyone in football deserves a second chance (Vick, Stallworth, etc) its this kid. His crime wasnt malicous in any way (just kinda gross). -

Tony Washington anyone? -
LBs wont be better. With McGees injury I dont see DBs being better either. ST wont be better bc we lost April and no way our new coach is as good as him.
-
in a somewhat related topic, I am planning on starting my own website. It will be called mikethemillionaire.com. The premise of the site is to get 1 million people to donate $1 to me, Mike, to make me a millionaire. I will try to make it as interactive as possilbe and post updates and videos about what I can do with the money. Anyone willing to donate?

We still need a C and LT and RT on the OL. We need a new Qb who if drafted most likely wont be a playoff caliber Qb for 3 years. Our front 7 is still in limbo and not complete. At the rate Nix/Chan are going it will be another 3-5 minimum. All of this is assuming they have the right guys for the job, which judging by past experience, they likely dont.

He has similiar numbers to Lee Evans, and until last year, was one some bad teams. http://www.nfl.com/players/leeevans/profile?id=EVA454901 LE - 340rec 5,356yrds 15.8avg 39 td RW - 319rec 4,678yrds 14.7avg 37 td He did own us that one game http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxs...00610150det.htm Bottom line is we could use another reciever - and they shouldnt be an allstar. they should be a compliment player to our O so that we get some quality part time production at a good price. BC of his mega deal with Dallas, should he get cut, we could get him at a discount price because of the $$$ he is still owed by Dallas. If he is cut I think adding him would be a great move. We know he is not a super star but that doesnt mean he wouldnt help this team turn it around.
-
He is my favorite player and I want his jersey. Leave it to the NFL not to sell a 1st round picks jersey.

CHRIS WATSON Anyone remember this oft torched CB from the Bledsoe years? He single handedly kept us out of the playoffs -
The same fans that bash Edwards, hate on other for bashing the team and having a pessimistic outlook. These fans blame the losses on the coach in their support of the team, but what about Trent? If you think that this team is not far off from the playoffs, and blame DJ for keeping us out of there, then how can you bash Trent saying he sucks... Not a Trent supporter, but Im not a very optimistic fan either...

If the Federal Government came to me, and said "We will give you 3.4 Mil to spend on the Rochester Art Walk, or one Genny light bottle, take your pick" My honest non hesitant answer would be THE GENNY LIGHT BOTTLE There is not a better example of waste closer to home for those in Rochester.
-
Hey, the government is going to piss away millions of dollars one way or the other, and if they are going to piss it away, why not build the Bills a new stadium? Hell, it beats funding $ 23 million for abortion legislature in Kenya... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/07/21...test=latestnews Or the "Art walk" in Rochester that recieved $3.84 million in federal funding... http://www.cityofrochester.gov/artwalkextension/ (As a 4th generation Rochestarian, with over 50 relatives currently living in the Rochester area, I have never once talked to a single person who has seen this so called art walk. Not one of my 50+ relatives have either. Im not even sure if it exists.) Lets be real, most of the employees are already on the payroll (unemployment) , but now we could actually have them work!

Blue throwbacks will be worn twice
High Mark replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am not a big RB fan. They have short lifespans, flame out quickly, and are heavily reliant on the guys up front. Because of the Bills commitment to obtaining the wrong players at the wrong positions (like drafting Rb, wr, rb, db, db db, rb, rb, db) I have decided to only buy jerseys of the players who do matter - like OL, DL, Qb, LB etc. The only two players on the team I would consider are Wood then Williams.
