  1. I thought we went over this already? The Jets D shut down everyone. All those numbers for all those recievers suck. This was not because of Revis alone, but rather the Jets D being very good all over. Revis didnt cover the #1 guy every single play. Revis was coving some of those #2s, 3s, or the TE when they caught passes. Revis wasnt covering the #1 when they caught some of those passes they did. Those stats prove nothing. Thats like saying "Thomas jones ran for 200 yards vrs the Bills, and since Poz is teh MLB its his job to stop the run, so man Poz must SUCK!"
  2. It allows the O skill players/D back 7 to work on pass plays/pass coverage, while allowing the lineman to work on blocking. More individual instruction. IMO is slows the game down and makes it easier to get on the same page with guys. It can be a big help
  3. Fixed. I mean come on dude, dont tell me you believe Revis was on all those recievers, that naive. Maybe those recivers have few catches is because the Jets D allowed the least number of complations in the league last year? Maybe that had few yards was because the Jets allowed the least passing yards last season? Go back and look up the #2 WRs stats, I bet they suck too. Same with the TEs. I realize Revis is good and played an important part in those results, but if he had Kelsay/Maybin rushing the passer for him he would have looked a lot more average.
  4. You provided no evidence. You showed the stats of WRs on team the Jets played. Revis didnt have one on one man coverage agains tthose recievers 100% of the time. In fact, I bet he had one on one man coverage agaisnt those recievers less than 50% of the time, so why do those stat relate to Revis? Thats my point and I agree 100% Revis is not much - if at all - better than McGee, McGee just doesnt have a top notch pass rush, or get the ESPN headlines.
  5. So all we have to do is hope we dont play any good teams. Then we could make the playoffs!
  6. Is he running the cover 2? I am certain he is not. That fact alone will help Fewell. O and I forgot they have Tuck/Kiwinuka/Piere-Paul/Sintom
  7. Holy sh*t how I hate that argument. Do you think Revis was locked in one on one man coverage every play vrs teh same guy? Thats moronic. I remember watching the playoff Bungals/Jets game, as the announcers where washing Revis's nuts for allowing 85 to catch 1 or 2 passes all game, yet AS THEY WERE TALKING, Revis had allowed 3 catches to Coles/others. Worst. Evidence. Ever. Revis thinks he is hot sh*t cause ESPN cannot get his dock out of their mouths. Id rather have Mcgee/Florence/Dbrickashaw Furgeson for that money. My team would be better too.
  8. I have read reports that is 33 mil, but also that is 11.5 mil as ICE said. So which is it? Thats a big difference. the 8mil guaranteed has been reported in both cases. PS I bet Tebow has made 33 million for the NFL already.
  9. You cant see jackson, but you can see Maybin pushing someone - in the abck according to TG - and you can tell the play if over. Maybin is a chump, a never was,, and is never going to be. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/i...up-bills-o-line
  10. but but but but.... its on the roster
  11. Word on the street is that Spiller keeps rejecting their offers bc he wants more money - not that that should be a suprise to anyone. Hopefully this signing helps make the minds meet.
  12. Should I be impressed a retread FA singing has worked out well for us, or should I be disappointed that the 11th overall pick cant solidify a starting position on a bad team in his 3rd year? Bitter sweet I guess.
  13. That assumes Nix was making the call. If it takes us the next 4 off seasons to build an OL, the completion of that task will ironically align with the expiration of Spillers expected 5 year rookie contract.
  14. FWIW Harris totally outplayed his competition when he did see time last season. I predict if his knee heels, he will be just fine in the NFL as a 43 will - and in all likelyhood be added to the list of players the Bills let go who go on to startdom with other teams,.
  15. How about lightning in a telephone booth. The telephone booth is the Bills backfield which the lightning is trapped in.
  16. Reason I ask is I have an in that can get me into the vip area to meet some players and such - but i would need to get into the camp. I live >2 miles for training camp and could meet you at the gates. Thanks in advance
  17. This should prob be in some other area, but I have never been to any other forums on this site than this one. Does anyone have 2 extra tickets to the Wed practice this week? Please let me know if you do. Thanks,
  18. It would seem that you assume my opinion is wrong and yours is right. You can continue to bite hook line and sinker into everything this FO does, like I used to do, but I have been scorn too many times to fall for it anymore. However, you too in time may learn to doubt the very very questionable moves of this FO, rather than accept them as the correct move immediately, before any games have been played. See, unlike you, I have a decade of poor draft choices backing my opinion that the Bills probably fumbled once again, while all you have is pure hope and optimism that they did not - optimism which in me has been crushed by the decade of dismay this team has brought upon itself.
  19. There were tons of rare talents available when the Bills picked. Tebow was a rare talent because of his work ethic and ability to win Clausen was a rare talent because he ahs 3 yrs experience in a pro style O Javid best is a rare talent bc of the exact same reason as Spiller Bulaga is a rare talent because of his run blocking ability/his technque Iupati is a rare talent bc of his size and athletic ability. In fact, I honestly believe at his size he is more athletic than Spiller respectively Dez Briant is a rare talent Brandon Grahm/JPP/Derrick Morgan are all rare talents....
  20. Ok, so your point is "The Bills had him rated as the best player on their board so trust their judgment" Now please tell me you dont expect me to be OK with that. Buddy Nix is one man whose title has changedfrom last season - when was a scout for the team. Modrak and all the same scouts from the previous 10 drafts are still scouting and drafting away. So you want me to trust the judgment of the scouting department that drafted Maybin over Orakpo (with Nix), Mckelvin over DRC and Clady, Marshawn Lynch over Jon Beason+, Whitner over Ngata, and McCargo over Mangold and the 190+ players drafted after him (with Modrak and crew - no Nix)....... I mean hell, he basically admits he though Spiller was better than Suh/McCoy/Berry/etc when he says "We thought he was the best player, maybe from the start, but the best player for sure at the ninth pick" sorry if I disagree with their judgment yet again.
  21. The team is only void of playmakers at the positions that matter. Prior to the draft, we had a PB RB and the RB who beat him out for the starting spot. We have Evans at WR, and last year we saw what having TO got us. We have a very promising second year TE. We had 3 of the leagues best return men in Parrish/McKelvin/McGee, We have tons of talent in the D backfield.... But what we DONT have is what we still dont have and thats what matters most. How many times have you heard "you first pay the QB, then the OL to protect that QB, then the guys to get the other teams QB...." We dont have an OL. We barely have a DL. We lack true playmakers at LB - where we now need 4 starters. We also have no playmakers at the games most important position of QB. So the Bills have zilch at the games 3 most important areas. Yes they lack playmakers - but only at the games most key positions. We have plenty of talent at the B rate positions. This is what the Bills front office habitually fails to correct.
  22. That mey not be entirely accurate. Tennessee Football Inc., the company that owns the Titans, filed the lawsuit Monday in Davidson County Chancery Court against both the university and Kiffin. http://www.philly.com/inquirer/sports/2010..._by_Titans.html Anyone want to clarify if companies can own teams?
  23. Look I get it - stop it with the Spiller highlight vids. We drafted Spiller because Ralph said we needed excitement and he thinks one fast RB will turn the whole offense around. I get it, I just dont agree with it. I dont agree with it because you dont get any of those kind of highlights, without these kinds of highlights. The Bills dont have the ability to let Spiller use his abilities - We have the cart but not the horse so to speak. PS for a good laugh, fast forward to 4:30 in the video and watch Maybin get thrown around like a rag doll! (these highlights were from 2008) And to think we drafted him at #11, to play DE none the less. Truly comical.
  24. He was a 2nd round pick. See above. PS: Poz is a much better LB than the fans give him credit for. He oft looks exposed because his OLB cannt seem to turn a ballcarrier back inside properly. Please take this into account before ripping on Poz
