  1. Are you sure its considered a gift though? I thought the kids would get taxed at some sales tax rate off of the "market value" - I know when I bought my car and registered it they didnt calculate my tax off of the sale price but rather some vehicle value they calculated. I am pretty sure that avoids the death tax altogether - because if they decide to sell it after he passes, they will get taxed twice. Once for death tax and once again once they sell.
  2. I need to buy a white jersey while I still can. Too bad there are almost no players jerseys worth having. Idf only they made K. WIlliams or Wood jerseys...
  3. My money is on you will be. Ngata is primarily a DE in the 3-4, although he does shift to NT on some passing downs.
  4. Maybe someone smarter than I on the subject can answer this..... Why doesnt Ralph just sell the team to his children for $1. Then, whenever he does pass, he wont pay any taxes because he wont be the owner of the team. This is no different than a child buying an elderly parents home for $1 then allowing the parent to live there until they pass. Why is this not an option?
  5. I expect to see Spiller as one of those backups with 70ish carries and 30+ receptions. I think thats a realistic expectation for him. Maybe with more receptions though.
  6. Its just more evidence the WR is one of the least important position in football. Evans was great because Bledsoe was torching the league at the time. Does anyone believe Evans is a worse WR now than his rookie year? No, its because then he had a PB QB and a solid OL, now he has the worst OL/QB combo in the league. I dont care how good he is he cant throw himself the ball. This is just more evidence that the Bills (and Lions for that matter) dont know who to build a good team. WR, RB, DB, DB , RB, DB, RB - when you draft like that you end up with 10 straight season with no playoffs and 1 winning record....
  7. I think most everyone is POed the Bills passed on Clausen twice.
  8. They are fast, but with our porous OL they will not be fast enough....
  9. ...Was graded out as the 3rd best safety in the league by Pro Football Focus http://profootballfocus.com/by_position.ph...&numgames=1 Now I have no idea how they do their grading, but at least IMO George Wilson was our best player on the D last season second maybe K. Williams. I know most people see Byrds 9 plays that resulted in interceptions, but play for play G. Wilson was a total stud last season. I fully expect him to start this season - something other fans Im sure gawk at. From reading these forums I dont think many other posters think as highly of GW as I do, so I just wanted to post that link. PS I would LOVE to see our nickle package include Byrd/Wilson/Whitner again this year instead of a third CB - we used that a lot last year with the injuries but I think it worked very well.
  10. Thanks, I know I am
  11. So who plays in game 5?
  12. Coy Wire, Ashton Youboty, Chris Ellis. Those are the types of players we draft in the third round. I dont even want to know the quality of players we get in the 4th, 5th, and so on. I would trade Youboty AND Ellis for Smith - esentially 2 third round picks. So is a 5th too much for a starting QB? NO ITS NOT
  13. Ok. So they got new players, but they never IMPROVED the line. PS Hangamn is teh worst center in the league. Its safe to say the young guys made him look good - no the other way around.
  14. Chris Johnson is on another level. There are not many men on earth tha record sub 4.3 40s. Spiller and Reggie Bush are on the same level - that being sub 4.4 40s. But comparing Johnson to Spiller is silly. They have very different running styles. Jonson also never splits out at wide out or returns kicks. Just because they are both 200lbs and fast doesnt make them similiar players. Reggie Bush and Spiller are much better comparisons. PS: For the record, Spiller ran a 4.37 40, Chris Johnson was a 4.24. Spiller wasnt even the fastest RB at the combine. That was Javid Best, a player who I thought was/is going to be a better pure RB than Spiller. To compare, McKelvin ran a 4.38 at the combine in 2008. Jacoby Ford ran the 4.28, bc he is also a Clemson guy, people think Spiller ran a 4.28 There is a huge diference in 4.24 and 4.37 - albeit Spillers time is very good, there are a lot of guys at that speed in the NFL. http://www.nfl.com/combine/top-performers
  15. The "exciting thing ahead for this team" is the 2011 draft! Which almost certainly will be botched once again!
  16. The Bills severely lack talent where it matters most. They have no one to blame but themselves for this.
  17. So much for the UFL being a feeder or developmental league
  18. http://www.macsfootballblog.com/2009/04/20...ing-status.html If the trend continues, Spiller will be expecting 5 yrs, 30-32 million, with 18-19 million guaranteed. That a lot of coin for a RB, especially one who wont be seeing that many carries (<--- assumption with Jackson and Lynch also getting touches)
  19. Competition? There is no competition. They all pretty much suck. Start Wang and see if he can play. Bell has no acl and Merideth is not going to develop into some stud LT. solid RT at most..
  20. That dude that filled in for the undefeated fish for half the season or whatever.
  21. Marcus McNiel AND whats his face from Balt could still be had.... Make it come true nevergiveup!
  22. DHgate.com is teh site to order direcntly from China. Its kinda like eBay Jerseys101.com is one but I think its been down for a while. There is another one in the US that sells them too so shipping may be faster.
  23. We need lots of those types in Buffalo. That should be our identity. If Spiller/Jackson/Lynch/our offense wants to have any success we need to improve upfront.
