Week 10: Bills at Cardinals
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is one of those games that will continue to enforce this is a new era for the Bills. Buffalo should win this game. Murray is the X factor for sure. He is one of a handful of players in the league who can take over a game. Unfortunately for the Cards, we got one of those too! Go Bills!! -

Is this maybe a little extra juice for the sidelines? It is a big game. 8-2 and go into the bye on a high note. Sit back, heal up, hope for a couple key losses by other teams. Come back for the stretch to try and compete for home field advantage in the playoffs. -

How many non fans of any player vote for them? -
Looks like we're shorthanded tomorrow - Covid-19

They are upset, first thing to do is find someone to blame. Eventually they realize it’s just an unfortunate occurrence and blaming is a waste of energy. I am upset too, I wanted to see all our guys back. I will choose to look at the positives like seeing how some new or young guys look. -
You are probably right about Williams. Small chance he could take a slight pay cut to stay in Buffalo at RT. Winning and culture seem to be helping lower the pay scale for the Bills after years going the other way. I am all for drafting a LB early and late. Never been a fan of paying anyone at LB unless he is top 5 talent that rarely gets hurt. Possibly Edmunds in 2 years.

Don’t you feel like they have been inviting the run by going with heavy Nickel and Dime packages?

Del’Shawn Phillips to IR (again)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This could very well may be the case. If another team tried to sign Dane the Bills have the option to retain his rights but he must be added to the roster from the PS. Bills can not call Dane Jackson up any more from the PS. @YoloinOhio correct me if I am wrong... -
Another team angle related to Josh’s play...
atlbillsfan1975 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You could be right @eball I think McD knew how bad the D was for Seattle. Daboll and McDermott most likely go over the initial game plan after Daboll and McD watch the tape for the first time. It’s probably a broad approach early in the week. Strengths vs weaknesses. Then as the week goes along the keep refining the plan into details and plays they feel will work. I wonder if McD has been more involved this season in the offensive game planning for a few reasons. McD knows Daboll will be interviewing for jobs. McD wants to try and bring his O cognitive understanding closer to his defense. This will help McD make a hire for a new OC. Possibly McD is more comfortable now and able to bounce back to the D meetings a little more 50/50. Pure speculation and probably totally wrong on my part. -
PFF mid season all pro team

There once was this thing called credibility. We can discuss why this principle has ceased to exist for the most part in media, however we can’t debate why PFF is not a credible site. I don’t click that link and I never will click any PFF link. -
National TV game (sort of)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We can view this as a sign of respect and that the TV the execs are realizing the Bills are must see TV. This game in particular has two very entertaining QB’s going against each other. This reminds me of when the Bills began getting good in the late 80’s. Back then we would need to wake up and check the newspaper to find out what teams were being shown here in Atlanta. It meant the difference between being able to watch at your house or heading up to a sports bar. As the Bills became good we frequently we’re able to stay home. -

Larry is the man. He will be one of the few who uses football to help him do good for a very long time. Natural leader and someone who brings people together. I still hope we kick the Cards ass on Sunday. -

Well you are going to be hearing about Kyler, Burrow, and Herbert for a long time. Those three are good. Tua has played two games but I think he will be around for awhile too. Kyler has already shown he deserves the praise. -

Josh is a pretty mature young man who seems to learn through experience. Dealing with a loss stinks whether it is trivial like a game or significant like a loved one. I know you know that, and we’d all like Josh to be allowed to grieve in whatever way he prefers. He may even be ok talking about it, for some that helps the healing. I do get where you are coming from. -
Nah, he isn’t great at picking talent. He has had as many misses as hits. He got lucky with Brady. Belichicks record without Brady is below .500 just like this year. Belichick is also a cheater, it’s proven. He will be out of the league in 3 years.

Great to see everyone practicing at some level. Injuries are the only concern I have for this team moving forward. Healthy Bills teams can play w and beat anyone. -
Would you want to re-sign Isiah McKenzie?

I’d rather see a small fast back drafted on day three. Someone who can play ST’s and provide a speed element our current backs don’t have.
