What you want to see Sunday vs the Falcons
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd like to see Zay have a big game too. Staying in the game and competing is what I'd like to see. A win is a bonus. I want to see this team fight all year for wins. -
I really don't think I used cliches. But we will find out on Sunday if they were cliches or accurate. Tolbert will be used a good bit. McCoy will struggle against a very fast LB core. I hope I am wrong but the only way the Bills win this game is if the Falcons give it to them with turnovers . Atlanta is far superior talent wise, and it's not even close. QB- Atlanta is better RB- Atlanta is better WR- Atlanta is better OL- Atl( Bills line this year has not been the same) DL- push. If Beasley was healthy I would maybe give advantage to Atl. LB- Atlanta Secondary- Push/Atl Kicking game-Push. I love the Bills. On paper they have no business being in this game. We will see.

The thing is I watch all Falcons games. They ARE vulnerable up the middle of their defense. Ryan showed a little of his 2015 self, which could be the product of his new OC. We shall see. Ultimately Tyrod will have to play as good as last week. This week the Bills will have to turn those short field sudden exchange opportunities into points or they will lose.

Got to like hearing this. I think McDermott has a lot to do with him being here and with him progressing. -
I pull for the Falcons. This was clear from the Super Bowl thread last year. I am first and foremost a die hard Bills fan. I think you will see a bunch of Tolbert up the gut on the Falcons front. Expect more 40/60 Tolbert to McCoy. IThe Falcons are not the biggest most physical D. The Falcons are fast and quick to pursue. Maybe We will see a Dimarco sighting. Pound the ball and work off the play action. The offense is just scary good for the Falcons. Weapons at every level. Mack is a stud at center. The line play as been solid. If Schreader is out this can help. His backup was bull rushed, Lawson could have a day w him. Ryan can be rattled and will give you a pick every now and then. He showed a little of his 2015 bad habits last week against Detroit. For the Bills to win they will need to play a solid game, no turnovers, no crucial drive killing penalities or drive extending ones. The Bills will need 2 takeaways and get points off them. Special teams also needs to be sound. Make Ryan work for everything, and pound the ball right at the center of them.

I have a buddy who is a huge fan. He has season tickets and takes his son to every game now. I think his fandom has been growing due to that some. That is what it takes. A second generation to grow up with the game. I bet a lot of us got into the Bills because of our dads or another family memeber passing it down.

The minute he does get cut NE will pick him up and make him 1000 us 8 TD guy. Ha Glad he is on our team. Hoping he keeps developing and the game plan looks more like yesterday.

It's a lot of coaching too. McDermott is a DB coach at heart, just like a Saban. Gaines played good today. The thing I don't miss at all is having to watch a DB in a Bills uni look up at the video screen and act like someone blew a coverage. Gosh I hope this never happens again.

I'm Surprised by Zay Jones' Slow Start

They are trying to get his confidence back with a TD. He will be ok. Catching the ball is mental. He needs that big catch to get him feeling he belongs. -
Last nights former Bills players

These moves were made for the Bills future. I have no clue how this will work out. The Rams have better WR talent today than the Bills do. Two weeks into the 2017 season. In 5 years from now let's say Sammy, Woods and Goodwin are all retired. The Bills draft a franchise QB and a WR both hall of famers. Bills also get a DB and other players in the draft that lay the foundation for a SB. Than the Bills got what they wanted. The other teams also got what they wanted winning now with ex Bills players. The ex Bills players got what they wanted. Why do some of Bills fans want the Bills to always make the wrong moves? -

Glenn is hurt. I don't like it but I'm not going to lump him with Dareus. -
Caption This: Shady McCoy Version

I will take McCoy for the block -
If Sammy is healthy and he has a capable QB he is a good receiver. Does anyone argue that? Sammy wasn't always healthy in Buffalo and he didn't have a QB who could throw him the ball consistently. Wish Sammy well and move on. He wasn't going to sign with the Bills. Glad they got something for him.

Gary Gramling at SI is utter trash

Atlanta radio already has the Falcons heading to NE on Oct 22 undefeated. Rolling the Bills at home. That game will be a good test for this D. I think I am just going to watch the defense play and flip around when the O gets on the field. -
Hall Of Fame - Most deserving/Most likely

Tasked will get in eventually. I think it is one of the reasons he is doing TV. The HOF is political to a point. Yes a player has to have the numbers, but they also need to be someone the voters can relate to another player being in already. That's one of Taskers big obstacles. Tasker is trying to overcome it by being visible as a TV analyst. -
Anthony Miller Memphis WR is a beast!

That was a mistake for sure. I doubt Rosen will make that again. Rosen is trying to carry his team. That's great practice for whatever team drafts him high . He will be asked most likely to do the same.
