    wondered this myself…part of the calculus nowadays is that with the league revenue being so high you can just pre-schedule to rip up the turf and re-sod from scratch 2-3 times a year. A complete premium grass re-sod can be done for $200-$300k - about half the cost of league minimum veteran.

    If you are looking to give him a pass look to the Tre white in his prime injury which had a devastating impact on three seasons. There are only a handful of true lockdown CBs in the league at any time and he was one of them. If you have one, you build much of your defense around him. You don’t see too many teams win it all losing a top 5 player at a key position.

    Tell him to stay in shape. Not rosterable but a huge upgrade to an Klein on the practice squad call-up over-roster. I like the message the team final made to everyone today that you need to find a way to stay of the field.

    Kerwin and Miller - who are great btw - were talking about this and suggested the teams may collude and black ball him out of the top of the ‘26 draft if this were to occur. Otherwise there would be a wave of this activity going forward. At any rate, love watching the Bengals unravel due to FO failure.

    Chiefs great run D is set up to stop power backs like Henry and Barkley but Cook is what scares them. They would rejoice if he was no longer on the roster.

    After the cincy playoff disaster I wondered if Frazier would get fired but knew that McD Frazier defenses - because of dominating performances against middling to bad QBs like this Houston game - were statistically NFL #1 in the time they worked together.

    I have less hope than I did for Kingsley Jonathan who flashed v the Bears in ‘22 and preseason ‘23 but was completely invisible whenever he cracked the lineup.
