Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!
Charles Romes replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
The way he’s played all year, lumbering out there and showing his age, Kelce seems primed to make critical drop or fumble in this game, which will swing the momentum. -

Injuries vs Steelers - Update from McDermott
Charles Romes replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
With these way too-long seasons (17 putting it over the critical mass), the Super Bowl winner will be more and more simply the luckiest and least injured team, not the best team. It’s like in baseball where there is little correlation between the best team and the champion (the champion often having the streaky hot pitcher). -
Injuries vs Steelers - Update from McDermott
Charles Romes replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
mcD did not go into details - he just gave the list and said Bernard has an ankle, will see how it goes. The presser should be posted shortly. I believe Wawro interjected “so all day to day” after the long list and McD concurred but I can’t recall exactly how it was all phrased. After milano and dequans cart-level injuries he said “does not look good” the day after. He did not say that for Bernard. -
Injuries vs Steelers - Update from McDermott

McD just listed the entire list as day to day at his presser. I’ll take it, if anyone looks to be out for the year he says so. -
From one of the angles it looked like he took a pretty good shot to the head into the turf. Does Allen get the calls? Yes he does. Superstars usually do. Am I apologizing? No.

Hopefully this dilemma is NOT SOLVED by an IR roster spot opening.

if you are considering pooch punting at the opponent’s for safety purposes in today’s game you have a major kicker problem.

Wild card round - Steelers @ Bills - 2nd half game thread

And no Bernard-Dodson to run their stunts. -
He actually has a resume comparable to Chan Gailey except the other side of the ball. Chan got a second chance at not the best of situations, comparable to today’s panthers.

Don’t the Bills need to elevate Fournette from the PS again for this game? When’s the deadline. Steelers have already announced their elevations. -

Next KC kickoff the Dolphins should put Hill on the 20. -

Game Postponed! - To be played Monday at 4:30pm

Probably should root for chiefs since we just prepped for them and the extra day of prep will be less. -
Where do you see that Douglas and Dawkins are playing?

Talent gap to the SEC is declining. Good time to pack it in after another great year.

Why did clock stop after Allen’s amazing 3rd and 13 run
Charles Romes replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s dumb because the defense can gain for its team a massive time advantage - possibly preserving a chance to win - by committing a penalty. -
I’m still trying to figure out why the clock stopped at 3:12 after Allen’s amazing 3rd and 13 run. The clock stopped and the Dolphins were able to preserve a timeout which ultimately lead to them to having almost two full minutes for the last drive. Bills could have run the clock down to under 1:30 if the Dolphins burned a timeout after the amazing Allen run. Tirico mentioned that the Ramsey hold caused the clock to stop, but if that’s true couldn’t the Bills have just declined the 5 yard penalty to force the timeout, taking the ball on the Bills 49 rather than the Dolphins 46? The five yards did not put them into field goal range. Was it clock mismanagement by McD to accept the Ramsey penalty? 3rd & 13 at BUF 34 (3:12 - 4th) (Shotgun) J.Allen scrambles right end to BUF 49 for 15 yards (C.Wilkins). PENALTY on MIA-J.Ramsey, Defensive Holding, 5 yards, enforced at BUF 49. Does anyone know the answer?

The pass to Johnson at the end of the first half...
Charles Romes replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was just another example of the media feasting on Allen’s supposed error-proneness since they have no ability to come up with anything else. He had a great chance to score on that catch, but Baker made a great play. -
Bills stat thresholds for wins and losses since 2019
Charles Romes replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the game is too short our turnovers/drops are more likely to do us in. Almost ran out of time to beat the chargers. Need to go up tempo to lengthen the game to 75+ offensive snaps. That will increase the odds of separating. -

If I were a Browns fans I’d be pretty upset about having to take on the Texans instead of the Jags. Texans remind me of the ‘21 Bengals
