  1. The owners will wait to approach the NFLPA until it's getting close to crunch-time, so as to get them to acquiesce under duress.
  2. How many more?
  3. Considering they're trying to extend Peters and Walker has 3 years left on his contract, I'd say RT.
  4. I bet TG doesn't know. Heck I'm sure Chris Brown doesn't even know.
  5. The more I look into it, the more I like Cato June. He's made the Pro Bowl and started on a SB-winning team, at a position of need for the Bills: WLB. He was out of position with Tampa playing SLB. Get 'er done, Russ! Then get a LG!
  6. I'd love to know. But the Bills are notoriously tight-lipped about contracts, so the best we can do is speculate.
  7. That's pure speculation.
  8. The Bills could franchise him.
  9. What other options do either of these guys have?
  10. I have to say that since Jauron wasn't at the press conference, I'm glad that he got to meet with TO face-to-face. I could see where Jauron not having met with TO prior to being introduced as a Buffalo Bill might have rubbed TO the wrong way.
  11. Okay, I read it. It was pretty much what I figured it was going to be and didn't change my view of (I assume you meant) TO. Who cares where that fool is? The less he's here, the less polluted this place is.
  12. The Eagles' situation was precipitated by McNabb's inexplicably idiotic decision to avoid throwing the ball to TO in the SB, and instead into the waiting arms of Patriots defenders. And then after the season, the team starts talking about how they can cut TO with little cap impact, should he not return from his broken ankle. Talk about stupid and bringing it on yourself. In Dallas, as I found out yesterday, there were 2 other receivers who were critical of Romo's penchant to look for his TE. Romo's in for a world of hurt this year. I can't say what happened in SF because I didn't follow the situation closely enough.
  13. Read my post. Springs didn't shut down TO once last year, and hasn't in the past 4 years. Springs is a shell of his former self and always injured.
  14. The Bills need to add a LG to make the offense complete. A threat at TE would be nice, but not a deal-breaker. Coupled with a great return game, the addition of a good Tampa-2 LB like Keiaho, and hopefully a healthier year from Schobel and/or pass rushing help, there could be great things happening this year.
  15. Well if it's a 1-year $9.75M deal, it's even better for Buffalo.
  16. It must have killed Mort when Ralph was voted-into the HOF.
  17. Eh, not so much. I don't know if Springs was assigned to cover TO, but they faced each other once in each of the last 3 seasons, and Owens had 7 catches for 76 yards and a TD in 2006, 8 catches for 173 yards and 4 TD's in 2007, and 7 catches for 71 yards and a TD last year. The last time Springs may have been awesome at covering TO was in 2004 when TO was with the Eagles, and had a combined 8 catches for 70 yards and a TD in both games.
  18. The Bills rarely draft guys who they pay a lot of attention to at the Combine.
  19. Another "true fan" no doubt.
  20. What King actually said is that the Bills think that Jauron is the perfect coach...to handle T.O. And I agree.
  21. Well, he's brought a certain amount of it on himself. And it's no different for Buffalo. I remember the CBA and the "experts" knee-slapping at senile old Ralph's nay vote over the CBA because he "didn't understand it." When in reality he said that as a joke and said that "the players got too much." Which ultimately proved to be prophetic. I should know better.
  22. I didn't realize that there were 2 other WR's who also went with TO to Jason Garrett to complain about Romo forcing the ball to Witten.
  23. You need to separate the agent from the player. Rosenhaus' life is about getting clients and making those clients money, so he in turn makes money. For him, this was an opportunity to proclaim "hey, Jerry Jones did TO a favor because he's making more money than he would have!" Now TO OTOH is the guy who has to play, and live for awhile, in Buffalo. Yet from what I've observed, Owens' interviews have revealed a guy who seems to really want to be here. I didn't hear him once mention the (more) money, just what he'll bring to the table and how he'll help the team.
  24. And he's a Bills fan who goes by "Coach Sal" Cappacio. Enjoy: Click me!
