  1. The pick was allegedly a 7th rounder in 2010. LOL!
  2. This will probably turn out to be a serendipitous screw-up for the Lions. Trading-away a pick and paying Dockery all that money to suck would have been bad for them.
  3. True. So claiming that the Bills and Lions had a trade for a high-round pick all worked-out, and the Lions clearing the Bills of all financial responsibility WRT Dockery, is pure BS.
  4. This is Jason LaCanfora's response: Now first of all, the Bills officially cut Dockery on Thursday, as per NFL.com (Click Here), so right off the bat, he's wrong. But assuming NFL.com doesn't know what its own teams are doing, the Bills were talking about releasing Dockery on Thursday morning, a full day before the alleged Friday 4 PM deadline. If there were a trade in the works involving the Lions, why talk about releasing him a full day before?
  5. Boley was considered the best player on the Falcons' defense prior to last season. I don't know what happened to make him lose his job and the Falcons not even bother trying to keep him.
  6. Please! Dockery has been a HUGE disappointment for the Bills since they signed him. I'd rather they get a guy for the minimum and put him at LG than pay Dockery anything over $1M to be a POS.
  7. Walker can be moved to OG if need be, with Chambers playing RT. But the Bills still need a center. Come on down, Geoff Hangartner! And the trade report is still BS. But for good measure, I e-mailed Jason La Canfora and asked him to explain what happened, if not give some proof. Let's see what he says.
  8. The trade would never have happened anyway. Even if the Bills got the paperwork in on time, Dockery's agent would have called the Redskins anyway and gotten Dockery to refuse to report.
  9. Dockery still had $28M left on his deal with the Bills.
  10. There was a $1.75M bonus due in a few weeks.
  11. Dockery was no better than the bums the Bills had before him. What a waste of time and money he was.
  12. Yawn.
  13. Gunshy, from the Dockery deal.
  14. If Pioli trades for Cassel, much less gives up a high pick or a player like Gonzalez, he'll be out of KC within 3 years.
  15. That's barely a start. The Pats are just $3.5M under the cap, and trading Vrabel clears a shade over $3M. That amount ($6.5M) isn't even enough to sign their draft picks and tender the restricted FA's. Not to mention Peppers will want Haynesworth money, and the Pats will never give it to him.
  16. Yeah, what have the Pats and Dols done so far? And the Jets, as stated, don't have a QB (and the Bills might not either, but...).
  17. Scott is an easily-replaceable guy on the Ravens' defense.
  18. RB's lose it pretty quick. Taylor seems to fit that description.
  19. If they add Housh, I can see them making a serious run for Warner.
  20. Those days are over. And we're not talking Corey Dillon after 7 seasons and under-30 here.
  21. Greer's injury will also scare-off the big-money offers. And the Redskins make another stupid move giving Hall all that money.
  22. Six of one, half a dozen of another. They're both on the downsides of their careers.
  23. I know it's Sabbath, but I thought the cover was decent enough. Nothing great, nothing terrible.
  24. Warner will have to play outdoor games +/- n bad weather no matter where he ends up. Just look at the Pats game this past season.
