  1. I doubt the Pats are willing to offer more than $3M a year either (like the Dols). So it appears to be a moot point.
  2. If by Johnson you mean Hardy, word is he'll be ready to participate in training camp.
  3. Sirius is reporting that the Dols are out of the running.
  4. The Giants' defense is STACKED!
  5. Not anymore it doesn't. The Bucs' defense died when Monte Kiffin left. Crowell could definitely start for them.
  6. Considering you've seen him play and the best these other guys can say is "well, why wasn't he re-signed/higher than a 5th round pick/starting," it's apparent you've won. Now we'll have to wait to see Hangartner prove it, but as I said, there's a lot to like about him.
  7. Yes and supposedly Mike Williams was a franchise LT.
  8. It's BS. Belichick wouldn't turn-down a 1st rounder.
  9. Daniels has started over 2-1/2 times as many games as well.
  10. Coles is neither "elite," nor will he make a huge difference.
  11. What kind of market value does Crowell have? The only team that even remotely/allegedly expressed interest in him was the Redskins, and they blew their wad already. I can see him returning to the Bills for a cheap deal.
  12. Greer will sign with the Lions.
  13. You start low and work your way up. And Coles has NO other suitors, not even Miami, who won't talk to him unless he's asking for $3M a year. But in Coles' mind, he probably needed to see what Miami was offering. And he'd probably take $3M a year versus even $4.5M a year from the Bills, given the state taxes, perceived quality of the teams, and that he can play in his home state. Scott played under new Jets' HC Rex Ryan, so he had an in there. Kind of like Miami has with Coles because of Pennington, Parcells, and it being his home state. And Sheppard was traded. He could have...if he offered $5M a year for him. That's too much. Johnson signed with the Lions for 3 years and $9M. But there are other WR's out there like Amani Toomer.
  14. Chris Baker, who the Jets cut, is a better TE than Royal, and Baker is no great shakes either.
  15. He'd play DE for the Bills, if they offered the Panthers their 1st rounder and agreed to pay Peppers Haynesworth-type money.
  16. The Bills would have to offer significantly more money because of state (namely income) taxes. Not to mention Coles is from Florida.
  17. Conversely, the Bills brought Taylor in as a message to Lynch, and on the off-chance he'd want to be the 3rd RB on the depth chart. Taylor's best option was always the Pats, given their lack of RB's.
  18. Hardy will be ready to go by training camp.
  19. He was signed earlier this year.
  20. That's because he wants to play OLB in a 3-4 and wants to go to a team that he thinks can win it all.
  21. Who? Is there a center in the draft who is a can't-miss prospect?
  22. It's not that simple. After what Haynesworth got, Peppers will want similar money. The Patriots don't like to pay that much for players.
