As I said above, Birk never had any intentions of visiting with the Bills, much less playing for them.

First of all, thank god that's over with! Second of all, better the Bungles than the Bills. I wasn't keen on paying this guy more than $5M a year, but $7M is ridiculous. The guy is on the downside. I'd rather the Bills went with Braylon Edwards or Anquan Boldin in a trade. Get someone young, ultra-talented, and make the $5-7M a year worthwhile. I'd even rather trade a late-rounder for Holt, who is a better WR still.

Birk had NO intention of playing for the Bills. F him and I hope he ends up being a disappointment for the Ravens.

It is...unless/until the younger guys develop. But is Coles the answer? I the Bills signed him, I hope so.

I read $4M/year was offered and I believe it.

The Bills rolled the dice with Dockery and look where it got them. But I was never that impressed with Groves when he did play, and he's been injured a lot on top of that.

Grove is a bum.

Chambers was lousy at OG last year. He's strictly an OT prospect.

Moss had Kerry Collins throwing to him. Hardly "no QB."

Just wait until you see what the Dols give Jake Grove, who isn't even as good as Hangartner.
