  1. No chance. Hangartner will play center and if they draft a rookie, he'll sit and learn.
  2. I didn't watch the video. Talk is cheap. What I want to see is him not putting himself in these types of situations in the future.
  3. Wasn't Maybin the guy with the second fastest 10-yard time?
  4. Jack Del Rio's mistake in "getting rid" of Stroud, especially for just a 3rd and 5th rounder, was the Bills' gain. I'm sure the same ones who are praying that TO crashes and burns were the same ones expecting the same of Stroud last year. Which tells you a lot about them. And Del Rio miscalculated with hiring Gregg Williams to be his DC, as well as paying Florence all that money to be a starter. And again their loss is the Bills' gain as Florence will be the nickel back, at best.
  5. What you said initially (obviously unwittingly), was right. No DA in his right mind would have ever charged "a guy with no such record in the state and not on probation" with a felony for possessing an unlicensed, loaded gun in his trunk, i.e. a totally victimless crime. So the starting charges would have been misdemeanors for each charge relating to having an unlicensed, concealed, and loaded weapon. It's what you also would have been charged with, if you decided to "go ghetto" and put a loaded glock in your trunk (assuming you have no criminal record). And it was common knowledge that he was ultimately only going to be charged with one misdemeanor, since all the charges were related to that one incident, and lo and behold, that's what happened! Therefore there was no plea deal and no reason to plea deal since he got what he was going to get anyway. Moreover we never heard a single report that he agreed to a plea deal. As for the pot allegations, they're moot, if not totally bogus. He wasn't charged and obviously the blunts weren't seized along with the gun, so the DA couldn't use this against Lynch, to get him to accept a plea deal. What, was he magically going to produce them and then add those charges? LOL! And Lynch has never tested positive for drugs in the past, and that's the only fact we have as far as this is concerned. I suggest you just be happy that Lynch will possibly face a 1 game suspension. Consider it payback for last year's "terrible accident."
  6. No way he ultimately serves more than a 1 game suspension. So relax.
  7. Why haven't people put this moron on ignore like I did (yet still I have to read his posts in quotes!).
  8. Marv was high on Tony Cline (with the Bills from 1995-1997). And down on Moulds. If that tells you anything.
  9. It has less to do with NE and more to do with the Panthers getting fair compensation. When I first heard the report by Carucci that it was for the 34th overall pick, I thought that the Panthers had lost their minds.
  10. Ah, so he's a Mort fan.
  11. Also, Florence wasn't signed to replace Greer. McKelvin replaces Greer, with McGee starting opposite him. Drayton is the nickel CB, if even, since Youboty will be back (but is injury-prone). And then there's Corner. Oh and Greer missed 6-1/2 games last year.
  12. I can't even come close to how you've made yourself look in a few weeks' tiume, especially considering what you wrote above and comparing it to what you previously wrote: So you first said that this was obviously (as any first year law student could tell you) never going to be a felony gun charge, which meant it was going to be a misdemeanor charge, period. Yet NOW it was a plea deal because he was obviously smoking pot, which was never retrieved and thus never tested, for which he was never charged, and for which he's never tested positive in the past, and when no news source has reported it as a plea deal, unlike last year's incident? Come back to me when you get your stories straight. Or get a coherent story. And ultimately, whether the search was legal or not, he was still caught with a gun in his trunk.
  13. Tom Curran also thinks it's not gonna happen: Not so fast
  14. Gee, what a shock!
  15. BTW, John Clayton repoorted that Lynch asked for the meeting with Goodell. Good move on Lynch's/his handlers' part.
  16. Wait, nobody cares about the charges that never saw the light of day? Like the pot charges? Who are you trying to kid? And I don't have to fight any fight. Lynch got a traffic ticket last year for what the authorities and the vic's own lawyer even said appeared to be an accident, and he wasn't charged with pot possession, even though he should have been if there in fact had been pot. In both instances, it makes you wonder why he got off/so lightly. But he was caught with an illegal gun and got charged, rightfully.
  17. If that's all it takes, it's a no-brainer.
  18. Given the choice between Daniels for the 11th overall and Scheffler for a 2nd, I'd go Scheffler.
  19. Fortunately in this country, there needs to be proof, not baseless allegations. If you had your way, the Duke lacrosse players would be in jail for rape. As I said, IF Lynch tests positive for pot, seeing as how he was "obviously" smoking blunts, then we'll talk. Until then it sounds like the bull sh-- it is.
  20. It wasn't much fun in my teens, either.
  21. Yes, that's EXACTLY what I said.
  22. Show me any credible evidence to substantiate the claim that there was pot. The word of the cops? Oh wait, I forget who I'm talking to here. I'm sure sometime in the past Lynch smuggled his own pot into a bar. Or at least failed a drug test. But I guess that last one is a "moot point." Look, the cops needed justification to search the car and they tossed-out the oldest trick in the book: "we smelled pot." That's why there was no charge for pot and the officers didn't even bother collecting the "blunts." But since the Commish is judge, jury, and executioner, he can order Lynch into the drug program to test for pot. And if he fails, then we'll have our answer, won't we?
  23. The pot allegations were fabricated. There is no other explanation for the cops not charging.him with possession seeing as how it was his car, when it was the basis for the search and they tagged him for the gun. Not to mention Santonio Holmes was nailed just a few months prior for the same thing.
