  2. As do I and lots of others. Here's the thing, McDefense has an MO, which has changed since he's been here, several times now, and never lasting more than a couple of seasons, and despite not always fully articulating it, which in and of itself is bizarre. He let's Allen play to his strengths in the playoffs, but Allen then has to overcome his coach, which is too much, particularly if Allen's not in Superman mode. We also all know that at some point Allen simply says F-it in games and takes the game into his own hands. That's not coaching however. That's Allen taking over. This complimentary football approach is anything but letting Allen play to his strengths, it's the opposite. So going into this season anyway, Allen won't be playing to his strengths. We also get into the roster-building aspect of it as well. Look at our roster, it's not built to cater to Allen's strengths. That even assumes that Coleman's even 80% of what people think he is. So between the two, why on earth would Allen be at his best this season. There is no known reason other than blind hope.
  3. Right!?! exactly where I’m at. Even with possibly the best 2-3 QBs in the entire league and McDermott still looks like a fool in the playoffs every year. right back the argument that without Josh we’re a .500 team at best and this coach would have been fired years ago. So during the season he does it like every single year but in the playoffs he can’t get it done?
  4. The stadium is real nice to watch a game at. And there are always a lot of Bills fans at every game in Miami. The stadium is about halfway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I live in Fort Lauderdale and it’s a great place to live and stay in. If you have some coin to spend, stay down by the beach at the W Or the Conrad. Both real nice hotels across the street from the beach on A 1 A. Lots of bars and restaurants down there and on Las Olas Blvd which runs from the beach to downtown Fort Lauderdale where I live. (2-2 1/2 miles away from the beach) Weather will likely be hot muggy and sunny in September like it usually is. And the ocean is awesome too. It’s a fun vacation topped off w a big Bills victory. Check out the Elbo room if you like drunk rowdiness across from the beach. Fun for all ages. Lol
  5. Yet that is what happens. The NFL protects the shield like it or not. The health care network I work for would do the same if I made remarks that ticked off a lot of folks.
  6. I voted worse than the previous two seasons. I am skeptical about his weapons this year versus what he had the last two years. I would like to be wrong and hope I am. I definitely do not think it'll be his worst since his first two years.
  7. Thank you. It may be too early to come to a final decision, but is it too early to start connecting some dots. This obsession with "complimentary football" is worrysome and seems misplaced given that we have Allen. The point behind it all is that Brady has zero experience in the role. The odds are even greater that he's not that good than, that he is that good. Allen will make him look better than he would otherwise as he has with everyone in the role. Allen would make any OC look better than they are. But a good OC would be able to get him to play to his ceiling, not to his average or worse. Having said what you said, it's at least equally remiss to insist that Brady's the solution, again, given that this was not the case under him at the end of the season. Sure, worst case for Brady was that it was Dorsey's offense, but Brady was an integral part of it, shouldn't he have been able to make more out of it than Dorsey if he's truly the better option? Everyone said, in creating the narrative, that Brady was better in terms of getting production (from both Allen and the O) than Dorsey was. But that's been proven mathematically and factually false. So now for that narrative to be true, other supporting evidence needs to come into play. Why the plummeting of Allen's metrics towards career worst then? It makes no sense if that's the case. Again, all we are left with between now and then is to discuss it. That's an unjustifiably optimistic expectation. It would mimic Allen's best season ever, but with a game that's focused on the running game and shorter high-percentage passing game, under which Allen's efficiency metrics are his worst. It doesn't make much sense that he'll rival his career yardage and TD production with an increased emphasis on running the ball and a shorter passing game generally speaking. Right? BTW, still happy to discuss Coleman. If you go thru that video again, just note the timestamps of the great catches that he made. We can discuss further thereupon.
  8. Diggs disappeared after the first 1/3 of the season... Gabe was pretty much non existent for the entire season and has never topped 50 catches in a season... If you simply get some form of consistent production to the tune of 50yds a game; that replaces Gabe. I wholeheartedly believe Samuel will surpass that. Diggs stats are replaced by a combination of the other wide outs and Kincaid (who I think will top 1000 or at minimum 900+) If you keep the context of how those starting WRs performed then the task of replacing them doesn't seem as daunting. At least not to me
  9. Sure they shouldn't have to, but they chose to do it anyway. Just in case someone would think they condoned this promoted commencement speak where one of their decorated players was speaking. They put out a brief message to make it clear they are not expressed views of the NFL. Why would this upset anyone? When Kaepernick took a knee and the NFL didn't say anything there were people saying they would boycott the NFL. They didn't say "well, that's the player's views and not the NFL."
  10. well I have mentioned that Allen needs to make the reads and get that ball spread around with the players we have currently. And i don't think he has done as well as he could. Or certainly not to my hopes and liking and I mentioned , Brady needs to enable that thinking within Josh Kromer needs to get him time on some of the multiple breaking routes and Allen need to memorize his checkdowns. This could work. Josh Allen is still capable of growth and maturation of mind.
  11. Last year? How about the first 3 drives for both teams in the three times we have seen them? Did they not score fast enough the previous three tries?
  12. You lose. But it's not the question of who is "butt hurt" or offended that's relevant, just as it wasn't the question of who was "butt hurt" or offended that's relevant. Both have the right to speak their minds. Both don't have the right to expect freedom from consequences to accompany their freedom of speech. Kaepernick provided enough credible evidence that he'd been blackballed due to his protests to obtain a settlement from the NFL. I don't expect Butker to suffer any actual consequences. But the issue is the same for both: both have the right to freedom of speech, and in both cases people can support free speech AND object to what they said. But I don't expect you to see that. I do expect you to not put words in my mouth or imagine you know what does or does not offend me. (I don't think you understand it, but you do know it's imposing and unreasonable) I wondered how long it would be before we'd get to the gratuitous personal insults. You don't disappoint. Well, actually, you do, but you don't surprise. OK I don't understand the point you're making here - in fact, I couldn't parse it at all. But that's OK.
  13. Allen was the only guy who came to play that game lol people really do have short memories
  14. Of course the Hitler Moms were tiedup looking for a three way in local bars instead of looking out for kids:
  15. I think he could yes. The defeat to the Bengals two years ago was on the players. Josh included. He sucked.
  16. BREAKING - Dirty crook, sued 3,500+ times for not paying contractors hires dirty lawyer who stole from him. Did Conald do a press conference when his family stole money from charity?
  17. You think he's getting past the Bengals?
  18. The idea that the ‘public’ would ever think that a place-kickers words spoken at an off-season, non-NFL related, non-NFL endorsed, non-NFL created event would in any way represent the NFL is a tad ludicrous.
  19. Or when he doesn't have to get past that same Patrick Mahomes.
  20. It's only head scratching if you absolutely must find the rosiest possible result in the worst of situations. There are 20 year olds who are never the same after an ACL tear and he was already on the last leg of his career. I think there's a very realistic chance he never even plays again. If he comes into camp looking like he did last season, he should just hang it up, because he wasn't a practice-squad level talent last year. It would be an historic comeback that people would talk about for years if he put up 10 sacks this year, considering he wasn't putting up that many more in his long lost prime.
  21. I love people talking about Andy Reid, as if that is a possible development story McD could aspire to. Reid playoff record with Mahomes 15-3, 4 AFC Championships, and 3 Super Bowls Reid playoff record without Mahomes, 11-13, one NFC Championship I guess we can expect things to get better when McD gets a better QB 😆
  22. I guess its a good thing that football games are not measured by things that almost happened. Keep digging.
  23. Wouldn't it be better though to have a good OC for a couple of seasons than never? Isn't it suspicious that the only time that Daboll's ever been good as an OC in the NFL is after Allen came into his own? Is it pure coincidence that in his other 7 seasons he's been bottom dwelling on offense as either an OC or HC? It's hardly unreasonable to ask whether Allen made him or whether he made Allen. But since Allen's had immense success without Daboll but Daboll's had no particular success apart from Allen, that's a pretty good clue. Neither Dorsey nor Brady have done anything exceptional yet. Despite Allen's tempering his metrics are on a down trend from 2020. What seems to be an issue is that McD was hired before Allen was drafted. Would Pegula have chosen McDefense had Allen predated McD? Last season there was talk amongst fans and media as to whether McD was the right man for the job, regardless of our independent discussions here. He knows this. Knowing what we know about McD, what is there to suggest that he'd go out and get a ringer of an OC when he knows that there are murmurings as to whether or not he's right for the job? In his mind he may be unwilling to hire his potential replacement. Keeping a guy like Brady (or formerly Dorsey) around, both of whom owed him for the opportunity, is a much safer move. They'll do what he wants, not what they want. We don't know for sure, but that's what the speculation was about McD v. Daboll. Either way, not getting a good or great OC because he may leave is not a good strategy if it's in favor of the pure unknown. We'll see, but there's a good chance that much of this comes out into the open this season. The over reliance on Coleman and Davis for our offense to work this season is palpable and unwise.
  24. By far my favorite live sporting event I've ever attended and it's not really even close and I've been to them multiple times as well as plenty of Bills, Sabres, various MLB games, MLS games, etc.
