  1. Past hour
  2. And he isn't trying to be a favorite, it's just him. Please God let them coach this kid up and scheme him open.
  3. That's right. I haven't even finished my 1st cup of coffee lol
  4. Unless I'm mistaken I don't believe any of the 5th year option money hits until next year.
  5. It's funny...all the former NFL stars love him but the fans think he sucks.
  6. I hope so. Ty is such a JAG. If I can save 350k on that spot it is a no brainer for me.
  7. Depends what team. The Bengals (who have proven to the best to beat the Chiefs) had one of the best deep attacks. I’m not bringing up last year cause Burrow was injured. They would throw the ball down the field a lot with Chase and Higgins. We are trying to be the Chiefs with the dink and dunk… and you won’t do that better than them. Let Josh be Josh and let it rip. McDermott has held him back imo
  8. Stefon Diggs was an elite receiver. Whether he still is remains to be seen - that is fair - but he has six consecutive 1,000 yard seasons. Samuel's best year (which in fairness did come in a Joe Brady coordinated offense) was 851 yards. I would say that is super substantively lesser. Whether he is super substantively lesser than Stefon Diggs in 2024 we will see. But the Diggs we saw for at least 3 and a half years of his run in Buffalo? Yea. Samuel is a LOOOONG way short of that. I think Samuel could have a career year though. John Brown when forced into a #1 role by lack of alternatives had a thousand yard season for us. But he still wasn't close to what peak Stef Diggs was.
  9. We may need to as the 5th year option for Groot is 13 mill I think.
  10. again, if you look at the stats from last year there was about one pass per game in the league that was 40 yards or more.
  11. Here is the thing, how many good to great players on your list? Tons! Now go look at the guys who have the fastest 40 times. Most are terrible. Track speed and football speed ARE two different things, and it's shown for decades now, but still many put too much into 40 times. I liked Coleman and I liked the pick. Trading down and getting a 3rd round pick and still getting your guy is brilliant. I don't know how his career is going to go, I just know if he doesn't pan out, it won't be from lack of talent or effort. I pray he gets coached up right.
  12. Well stated. People just like to complain.
  13. I agree. You don’t have a QB like Josh to dink and dunk the ball. It’s frustrating when people talk about WRs and bring up James Cook is a good pass catcher. Do you have the guy with strongest arm in the NFL to throw the ball to the RB 10 times a game? I hope not. Might as well get a guy like Jimmy Garappalo and pay him a quarter of what Josh is getting if that’s the gameplan
  14. What is needed is Inglorious Basterds in Gaza.
  15. So, these lowlife terrorist scumbag thugs are basically shutting down parts of campuses across the United States. Do they get they the J6 treatment or do they get a pass because another lowlife terrorist scumbag thug (you know who) gives them a FREE pass?
  16. Yes. They did not take as much as they could have cap wise this year. It’s time to start paying the bill
  17. After watching that video, the answer to the OP's question appears to be "Fact: Keon Coleman is not a separator". He is covered pretty tightly on almost every pass. Some of it might be due to poor QB play but definitely not all it. The more important question is can he become a separator with better coaching. I assume moving from school to school and changing coachng staffs didn't help but sometimes Beane is unduly confident in what the coaching staff can do.
  18. Yea he has. But they didn't kick the max they could. So there is still a bit of an opportunity to squeeze a bit more if we want to.
  19. I keep reading on here that Allen has not restrucuted but there are multiple reports he restructured his contract back in March opening up $16.7M in cap. For those that follow cap numbers closely, has his restructure already been done and applied to the cap? I know White's saving will be coming in a few weeks.
  20. Today
  21. Yeah, that QB sprayed the ball all over the place. Really made me cringe. Maybe 1 or 2 in 10 was well placed, everything else Coleman had to adjust to, often majorly. Many times the adjustment was bringing him into the CB. I did see a number of blanket coverage, but I saw more NFL opens that the QB made not open. Honestly, I'm still nervous about the pick because separation is very important in NFL. I feel better after watching, but not convinced he can get open as much as I want vs NFL CBs.
  22. Samuel. Hamlet. Isabella. Three guys on the roster right now with speed. I am sick to death of this stuff. Why assume there was a guy on day 3 that offers more?
  23. Quick Q: Tyreek Hill or Kalil Shakir, also saying reading defenses is Josh's strong suit...is a take
