I wouldn’t go that far. Allen is still somewhat young. We just need to surround him with talent on O and D and get better coaching. Will that happen - probably not. It’s a travesty we haven’t even made it to the SB with Allen. Another wasted QB talent with Buffalo with nothing to show. Im not a nay-sayer, but we’re not getting there with current regime. Everyone has rallied against the folks constantly being pessimists, but you know what - they are right.

That's always the case at this point. The Trade Deadine isn't for over two weeks. Every team is going to say "we don't want to trade (so and so)" right now. Even if they do, they're going to say that in an attempt to get teams to offer more. That said, obviously there are teams who are telling the truth when they say that about certain players. But there is definitely a team or two that is putting that out there as posturing to get better compensation from desperate teams. As in, what exactly? If you're alleging that it's unlikely we make a move, i'd agree that it's more likely we don't than we will. Doesn't mean it's not the right decision to make one, if you can.

The problem is that the same play will be called differently every week in the NFL. Remember the Drake Maye intentional grounding that wasn't called? Tonight they were sticklers for the rule and likely took Falcon points off the board. Tomorrow night they won't call it on an even worse violation.
