Coming this Fall - The 2025 defense
machine gun kelly replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
As far as the defense, since Hecht and Ogunjobi are out for 6 weeks then the bye, we need Bosa for 7 games in the regular season. I say this to play it as safe as possible. If they play in other games, it needs to be significantly limited. Maybe obvious pass plays only. For the whole game, I propose to think about the following for playing the whole game. Baltimore Chiefs Bucs Texans Steelers Bengals Eagles These are must have games for Bosa. The others as stated would be only maybe 3rd down passing plays, so we significantly limited access to be injured. Of course we’ll need him for all of the playoffs. The good news is our toughest opponents minute the Ravens are after the bye, and as a result can load manage Bosa. Maybe with a full year, he can instill confidence in fans and the team he may be completely healed. -
It would be nice if the Bills final game of the 2025 season we end up hearing Queen's "We Are the Champions".

Well if any illegals develop superpowers and start to fly around saving people then they can stay. Sounds like a fair deal. -
Josh Allen selling his house (California)

This was bound to happen. Hailee wouldn’t want to be in Dana Point when they’re in California. It’s nowhere near the entertainment industry hub. -
Is Ed Oliver still on the team by September?
DabillsDaBillsDaBills replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
It hurts that the next 3 DTs off the board are all better than Oilver. Wilkins at 13, Lawrence at 17, and Simmons at 19. If Oliver had been a 2nd rd pick we'd all probably love his production. Just kinda disappointing for #9 overall. -
Flute Concerto in A Minor, Antonio Vivaldi It's a classic.

Anything other than Mr. Brightside. I can't be the only one that doesn't like that song. LOL

WHEN THE LEDE DOESN’T MATCH THE HEADLINE: “Hondurans, Nicaraguans in Nevada to lose temporary protective status,” screams the Las Vegas Review-Journal headline, only for the reader to be told: Hundreds of Nevada residents from Honduras and Nicaragua who have been shielded from deportation for a quarter-century are set to lose their temporary protection after the Trump administration announced Monday that it was revoking their legal status. President Reagan famously said that “a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.” Similarly, only in lefty-speak is “temporary protection” meant to last a quarter of a century. https://www.reviewjournal.com/news/politics-and-government/nevada/hondurans-nicaraguans-in-nevada-to-lose-temporary-protective-status-3393728/ https://instapundit.com/730794/

The counterargument is Aaron Donald, another undersized DT with short arms who still managed to produce at a Hall of Fame level for entire seasons. I don't know how well known this is but Donald had an all-time work ethic. He retired somewhat early specifically because he didn't want to put in the grueling work required for his body type anymore. I'm not going to say Oliver is lazy, but I also don't think he is committing quite as much as he could to reaching his full potential.

Ok, its slow... wondering if we can have a bit of mindless banter... So... pretend Mr Brightside goes away... copyright, people hate it.. whatever... what is the song you wanna see the players enter too or celebrate with... I am gonna put out a few in a poll, but I expect the OTHER category will go big here... (you will notice I am not a Gen Y guy with my choices lol)

I’m pretty bullish on the defense this year. They didn’t lose anyone of note, aside from Von and Rasul, who were playing at an adequate/average level. They added: Joey Bosa, Landon Jackson, TJ Sanders, Max Hairston & (essentially) Cole Bishop, as guys factoring heavy into the defense for ‘25, along with Hoecht & Ogbujobi come Week 7. They also brought in coaches who are far more aggressive than we saw last year, along with a Kromer type hire on the DL in Ryan Nielsen. A guy with quite a bit of accreditation for DL play and developing stud D-Linemen. If this can’t be a Top 10 Defense that shows up in the Playoffs, then I’m not sure McDermott is ever capable of giving us a Defense that performs at a high level when it matters.
