  1. Past hour
  2. Curtis Samuel runs a 4.31, Elijah Moore runs a 4.35. I've read that Shaheed runs a 4.45. I'm not convinced that Buffalo OC Joe Brady would even utilize a new speedy outside WR. He has some some and doesn't use them.
  3. It's like you guys never learn your lesson on these players... not all rookies are good day 1
  4. exactly. Also felt maybe that DT from the Cowboys was a low cost need Mazi ?(sp) cuz injuries
  5. + there is the ego pride factor with his WGR comments
  6. So for what Seattle paid, we couldn't have done. I bet if we offered them a 3rd they would jumped all over it. Beane sucks... period! Pegula is too stupid and afraid to make a move there. Seattle has a dominant WR and they just got him help. Something Beane refuses to do for Josh. L9ok at Darnolds numbers and look at Josh's. Then tell me why. Don't say it's because Josh has no receivers and we have the chance to trade for one that's not in our division.
  7. If Kincaid goes down the offense is going to be in serious trouble against above average defenses unless Palmer becomes a regular intermediate threat
  8. PHI,TB, LAR - The three non Chiefs to win all did it through trades and free agency. Add in SF who has lost two.
  9. Did Dallas basically trade Micah for Kenny Clark and Quinnen Williams?
  10. I had heard they put in an offer for Metcalf before he was traded. We know they called on Olave. It seems that Beane gets involved in a lot of these discussions but is never willing to cross his own line. Just once I'd like him to cross it. The last time he did in 2020 we ended up with one of the most successful QB/WR duos in franchise history, regardless of how it ended. My concern all along with the trade deadline was that Beane would want to "win" the trade value. I'm more interested in winning a Super Bowl and you don't get there by staying in your comfort zone. That's my two cents.
  11. I don't put that much relevancy in pro football focus but they said we had top 6 defensive line going into the season We lost Oliver but you don't go from sixth to 26th.. we have a good front 4 still... We're like 8th in the NFL in sacks and it's not because coverage sacks typically We still have the ability to have a disruptive front 4.. bosa and gregg are going to decide what happens to this team in January on defense
  12. Thank you for counting. And categorizing. Not sure what we'd do without you. Wow, Narrative Control is brainwashing me! If we had mods here, they'd no doubt tell us that 90% of these threads could be subsumed under 2 master threads: "Someone on Twitter said something good about Trump" "Someone on Twitter said something bad about Trump" Seems like that's a good idea ...
  13. I'm sorry, but that is an awful rotation at arguably the most important spot on the chess board, and suggesting that Oliver is going to return from a serious injury and immediately be effective is probably nothing more than whistling past the graveyard. This team hopefully has another dozen games to play and I don't think there's any way they can make enough plays to win enough of them with that massive, glaring problem right smack dab in the middle of the LOS. Beane absolutely needed to find at least one and probably two more reliable bodies on the DL this week and he walked away with nothing. For a guy that I've appreciated having a huge and appropriate amount of respect for the importance of the DL, that was very disappointing.
  14. That wouldve got the deal done. He needs his 3rd to draft the likes of Landon Jackson type next year!
  15. I would have liked Shaheed - but I think Moore can likely do the same. I'm not sure if we know how to use speed guys in our offense.
  16. Yeah I've been a a draftnik for decades so I value those picks but despite that I realize that the most overrated chip at a GM's disposal is exercising that first round pick. About half of them even play well enough by year 3 to justify picking up their option. And if you are drafting late, some years you get lucky and get a Greg Rousseau but more years than not you probably aren't getting a difference maker at a premium position late in round 1, let alone a star. Right now GM's want to clutch that pick.......it's gold to them..........but by the time the draft rolls around they will be telling the media they only have 17 guys with first round grades etc.. About half the time the pick depreciates DURING the draft process. But it's a hard trigger to pull because the fan base has grown to believe that that pick should always be a hit.
  17. To be fair, Beane gave up a third for Amari Cooper last year, which was not a value pick. So I wonder if he tried to outbid Seattle for Shaheed, who went for a fourth and fifth-round picks. Even a third and fifth still sounds like value to me if it give Allen someone to throw to besides his tight ends.
  18. Last time I checked the bills won And the past has no relevancy on a future meeting
  19. You can believe me or not. That’s on you. If you think that I defend Beane, you must be new here. 🤣🤣 I’ve been arguably his biggest critic when it comes to WR.
  20. sure 3rd + throw in a 5th or 6th we’d get it back in a March trade or comp pick anyway
  21. Beane is not an idiot. Where did it get Miami to hold on to Waddle, Chubb at 2-7? I suspect that teams wanted to take advantage of any Buffalo interest in their players. On another note Jerry Jones is a fool to trade away Micah Parsons only to bring in a DT. The Colts to give up two firsts for a CB that gets flagged a lot when they have a Maybe at QB?
  22. Yes, he is. Is he able to stretch the field, though? Shaheed is no number 1, but he has shown an ability for big plays.
  23. This on pssd me off considering what seahawks paid grrr
  24. I think I would have too.
