Joe Ferguson forever replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
False choice. Compromise is the opposite of the dualism you suggest. Either/or is easy to imagine but rarely reality. The best solutions often reside in gray areas. Is it utopian to expect the president of the US to respect one of the country’s largest religions or to at least not mock it? -
Worth noting from this game, Duby broke his leg on that TD pass in the end zone. The next week, we lost Bass for the season as well. Eddie R would start and we traded for Bo Roberson from Oakland and still repeated as champs.

Maybe try some flashing around the nuthatch size hole. Also... Orioles are on the move north now, should be any day now. Right around May 10th or so they arrive here. Oranges 🍊, halves on a spike in a tree... Also, grape 🍇 jelly in little bird feeder cups... That will attract them. Blue=Breeding Red=Wintering

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL

Ya i actually thought when the bills traded into the 40s, that they were going to pick Landon Jackson. Pretty cool they got Sanders, and still were able to get Jackson in round 3 -

Love the pick, love the kid as a player and person, but the Watt comparisons are unrealistic. Watt has elite short area quickness, Jackson does not. Watt's 10 yd split was 1.58s and his shuttle was 4.13s and 3 cone was 6.79s. Jackson 10 yd split was 1.69 and did not run shuttle or 3 cone. Those are huge differences. Hoping for another Rousseau type player. Jared Allen would be best case ceiling comparable imho. -

I remember the round table with Felser and Carucci. There were two others, that were also good. Was one also Van Miller? Did enjoy and missed it when it ended. -
I have a two story birdhouse affixed to a large oak tree. Over the years, I’ve had white breasted nuthatches as tenants, although it’s been a few years. Sometime during late winter/early spring, a woodpecker pecked each of the holes into holes double the size. The birdhouse is now garbage, which really bums me out. Would love to have nuthatches come back when I put a new house up. They’re pleasant to watch and have great personalities. I also want to try to attract orioles this year. Looking forward to summer and variety of birds that come with it.

I have no opinion either way currently on the trade war situation, but I have to give him credit for taking the risk. The fact he still polls better than Democrats and, according to some polls, is still above water at +2 while taking on the most aggressive tariff/trade policy we’ve seen in modern history at massive risk to how his second term is viewed takes some guts. We all know we have to face off with China at some point, but nobody wants to be the one to do it, because we have elections every 2 years and Xi can ride it out.. As far as the sweeping tariff policy, more broadly, again.. we have elections every two years.. he knows he has to get movement on this before the ramp up to the midterms. If any President wants to make real change, they better do it in their first year.. a blessing and curse to our electoral process.

Bills Offseason moves to date & Projected Roster

I'd keep Lundt and cut Ingram. -
Just read in the Buffalo News this morning that Jackson was the only prospect in the draft to earn the “Bills Blue” checkmark by Beane’s scouting team. What does that mean, exactly? Apparently it means a prospect who matches every on and off the field trait the Bills value. Previous recipients include Josh Allen, Khalil Shakir, and Terrell Bernard. Take it FWIW. Edit: I re-read the article, and I think they meant the only prospect of this Bills class, not the entire draft pool. Still, it certainly reflects that the Bills really like him.

Bishop isn't slow when running in a straight line. He's average. However, it takes him a bit longer to process and react, and it has a noticeable affect on his play speed. He plays much slower than he should. It's almost like he doesn't trust what he's seeing so he doesn't fully commit until it's too late. That may improve with experience. I'm with you here. I thought Hardy looked the part at CB in the preseason. Vastly better than Codrigton did. If he has taken steps at returning kicks/punts he will likely make the 53 and have a jersey on game day IMO. They kept him around for a reason. -
Quack, I posted about my dad's cousin, the nun, to show that even nuns ad priest can laugh at themselves. From the left replies here the left's iron law is still in effect. The left can't meme and can'y get memes. I hope they pick someone who is near as good as JPII.

Shirley that can’t be serious. -
I find a Catholic President being overtly pro-abortion and pro-trans for minors to be far more offensive than a meme President … posting a meme, but that’s just me. Tbh, I’d rather he not do this stuff. Just like the constant trolling of Canada as a 51st state. I have no idea why he feels the need to have all these sideshows going on. As far as posters in this thread talking about division and lack of empathy under Trump.. Sorry, this isn’t fantasy land and you can either have a country with no borders, more violence, drug death and strained government programs, hospital systems and societal safety nets OR a grown up who actually wants to protect Americans at the risk of offending your utopian delusions. This is why, despite his over the top gamble on trade wars and constant troll/meme activity, Trump still polls ahead of any major Democrat leader or Congressional authority. My suggestion would be to focus on actually putting forth policy provisions that don’t divide us based on race or sex because of the Democrat Party’s consistent hyper-focus on identity, stop opposing everything for the sake of opposition (Jeffries was right to tell Congressional leaders to stop going to El Salvador to meet with a man most certainly associated with MS-13) and maybe, just maybe, try to not get sidetracked for days on end by a meme.

I'm pretty sure he's not the podcast Joe Marino (or any other). I believe this was a dude called "Herdmentality" in the past and he wanted compensation from Joe Marino as JM's substack is called that. The poster considered that intellectual theft or something. So he changed his user name in retaliation. Naturally, of course. Moderator's can correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's the case. -
Trump is a loud, abrasive, narcissistic gasbag. He's always been this way, well before he ever entered the political arena. He's always been purposely controversial, everything he does or says is done with a purpose beyond what's taken at face value, much like your standard run of the mill politician. Yet Trump is able to run circles around regular politicians because he's been at this game in the pop culture world for four decades. I suggest that if you always keep in mind that he is and always will be the narcissistic, bombastic gasbag everyone knows him to be and then always pause to consider his actions through that lens, you'll be less prone to allowing him to get your BP up. Trump the Orange, the master "Superconductor"

Bishop does not have limited speed. Average nfl safety 40 is 4.53. Bishop ran 4.45 with a RAS score of 9.88. I do agree he needs to improve on mental aspects. -
It could be a rare syndrome that combines Bruce Springsteen’s Grown’ Up lyrics* and Groundhog’s Day. If it last more than 48 hours seek immediate attention. *”But when they said, "Come down, " I threw up” .
