Keon keeps trying to beat Allen to Highmark lol
Sierra Foothills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Keon is his own strongest critic... equaled only by a handful of posters here. In the interviews following yesterday's Blue and Red scrimmage, Keon was "angry" (his words) about his 2 drops. He atoned with 3 catches later on including 2 of the very difficult variety. His critics on this site are beating the "consistency drum" but the media corps following training camp are pretty unanimous that he's showing well and that he's the main focus of the passing offense. Phrases like "The Summer of Keon" are being thrown around liberally by those whose job it is to report on the team. It's factually accurate to say that thus far, he's having a great camp. -

After spending nearly 10 years screaming that the Hillary Clinton-funded Steele dossier somehow proved Trump colluded with Russia, corrupt corporate media are now trying to claim there was never an operation to frame Trump as a Russian agent. They can’t refute any of the new evidence, so their response is to claim the entire last decade never happened. Shocking levels of dishonesty.

Zero chance they are cutting Hoecht. He signed a 3 year deal and, according to reports, has looked good in practice. Ogunjobi is insurance on the interior in case Deone Walker’s back issue flares up and/or he’s not able to make an impact as a rookie or DeWayne Carter doesn’t make a second year jump. Smart move by Beane to re-adjust the contract and stay the course. Hopefully we have no room for him when he comes back off suspension, but with Daquan Jones getting older and 3 of the 5 DT’s on this roster rookies and a second year player, having an insurance policy in a proven player makes a ton of sense.

This passing league is fun - especially having Allen. But man, I sure enjoyed watching those running game of old with guys like Jerome Bettis and Jamal Lewis where the D knew what was coming but couldn’t stop it. Made protecting leads in the 4th a bit easier too. In a dream world, the Bills would also have big power back to help grind the D down. Paired with Allen, that would be incredible. Not too many guys like that just lying around these days. Now they play other positions.

Keon keeps trying to beat Allen to Highmark lol
Alphadawg7 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, regardless if this exact quote was accurate or not, Keon has said plenty of great things this offseason that are verified, including taking the criticism professionally and even provided his own criticism of himself. Allen saying Keon was on him all offseason on how to be better and more in tune with what he wants too, etc. He is doing all the right things and saying all the right things so far and its at least showing up on the field thus far in camp. Lots to prove when the real games begin, but its encouraging to see, hear, and read about his development thus far this offseason. -

The word was Jerry was in love with Kincaid and pissed when Beane traded ahead of them to take him. two 1st round picks and Kincaid might possibly get the wheels turning. Assuming of course that Dallas is serious about moving Parsons, only two players have ever started their careers with 4 seasons of 12+ sacks, Parsons and Reggie White. Parsons is 26yrs old… it’s insanity for Jerry to trade him.

Training Camp 8/1 - Return of the Blue and Red

I think it was under “sexy” Rexy that the team actually scrimmaged in these night practices, no? -
Wow. All over the map this morning Mup. Trump says no plea for pardon https://www.reuters.com/world/us/ghislaine-maxwell-moved-prison-camp-trump-says-no-plea-pardon-2025-08-01/ But you read into it your slant, that's expected. As to my posting. I have the third most posts in the thread. 208. Oh well, don't let reality get in your TDS

For perspective - Stevie Johnson has 3 consecutive seasons of 1000 yards and he wasn't very good. When there isnt much to work with, you can still stack production. Now Terry is definitely better than Stevie, but I don't think he is that uncoverable guy either. Dont get me wrong though, I really like Terry, was a fan of him coming out and wanted us to draft him too. But I just don't think he is the league of the guys he listed, some of which were some of the best in their era or ever at their respective positions.

Training Camp 8/1 - Return of the Blue and Red

Coleman can make elite plays, but one dropped ball for every jump ball win isn’t what you need. Consistent hands with routine play ability is more valuable than a few big plays. If you get the big plays along with reliability, that’s what makes a receiver elite. -

Pro tip.. go to the “about” or contact links that are at the bottom of pretty much all websites. See what you get. In this case… you get nothing but more ads. Definitely fake. -

Agreed. I also love that Keon his his strongest critic. He press conference where he basically said he was trash last year was awesome. I don’t agree with Keon (I though he was pretty decent), but I loved that he wasn’t satisfied and knew he needed to improve. -
Great post but I have to disagree with one part and that’s Terry not being a go to guy and getting it done in crunch time. Dude has produced 5 consecutive seasons of 1k yards whilst being the only guy on that team who is a reliable WR. His TDs skyrocketed once they had a QB who could attack every portion of the field this last season. On top of that, for being the only high end WR there he had a killer post season. Tough to do much against Philly with little to no help opposite. Rams were the only team in the playoffs that actually moved the ball effectively against them and that’s more down to the gunslinger they have in Stafford and a quality duo of Puca/Kupp. Hes not an elite #1 but he’d dominate even more if there was a guy to help out at his position.

DJ Moore is a guy I would be more inclined to go get. He is a guy that can be a top 10 WR in a better situation IMHO, maybe top 5 if he got to play with an elite QB. He has top end traits, and produced despite the lack of quality QB play his whole career. As I have stated before, I do like Terry, and not against getting him on the Bills. But he isn't a guy that is on the level on which he reportedly wants to be paid, and I don't think the net gain of what we would have to lose to make it work is enough to make the move realistic. Moore is a guy I would consider more than Terry though.

The Killers are at CMAC tonight

I absolutely love Canandaigua and that venue, those complaining about the parking have obviously never been to Lakeview or Darien Lake. Both of those venues are 20 times worse.
