  2. Remember when the leftists seethed about not being able to stop illegal immigration’s from happening unless they signed that pork filled bill they were trying to? Hey leftists, how do you explain these numbers now? No new pork filled bill was needed to be signed to stop it. You sorry azz clowns were wrong AGAIN!!!!
  3. Actually, that’s just revisionist nonsense. The Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) was a real, verifiable agreement. Iran was complying with it confirmed repeatedly by the IAEA and US intelligence until Trump tore it up. That deal dramatically rolled back Iran’s enrichment, dismantled centrifuges, and gave inspectors unprecedented access. Was it perfect? No. But it was working. The second it was scrapped, Iran ramped enrichment back up and now they’re closer to a bomb than ever. So no, pretending they ‘never abided by any agreement’ doesn’t make your argument smarter it just makes it lazier. And let’s be real: if Israel believed diplomacy was impossible, they wouldn’t have begged the US to keep pressure on Trump to stay in the deal before he scrapped it. Facts are stubborn things. Top Israeli military officials say Trump’s Iran deal exit was a 'mistake,' bad for Israel Former Israeli PM: The Iran Deal Was Flawed. But Trump’s Decision Makes World ‘More Uncertain’ ‘The Iran Deal Was a Mistake. Withdrawing From It Was Even Worse’ An Israeli View on Trump’s JCPOA Withdrawal: “Hope Is Not a Strategy” The Iran Nuclear Deal Has Been a Blessing for Israel Top Israeli Security Experts Agree — Withdrawing from the JCPOA Nuclear Agreement Has Been a Total Failure Why Israeli Nuclear Experts Disagree with Netanyahu on the Iran Deal | The New Yorker
  4. I’m assuming you think that BB is also a level above McDermott, no? My question is simply this. If someone considered the greatest coach of all time was largely mediocre and saw his SB window slammed shut after losing his franchise QB, who immediately opened another franchises SB window, why do you assume that would not be the case in Buffalo with a head coaching switch? For simplification, we all agree: Greatest HC of all time + greatest QB of all time = dynasty Greatest HC of all time - greatest QB of all time = mediocre, fired in 3 seasons Do you believe that McD without Josh would do better than Bill without Brady?
  5. No, it’s not that I’m not interested in real discussion. You don’t like that I’m not buying what you are selling. I don’t have ultimate faith in McD, but I think he’s our best option at this point in time. Oh, and you did just quote me. .
  6. This didn’t pop up years after the fact. She reported it to the police immediately.
  7. And biden said he would cure cancer under his ( or who knows) administration. Another promise not kept.
  8. If he was seen choking Mother Teresa, the Bills would have still drafted him in round one. You know why? Because you can't have too many corners!!!
  9. Given the general police track record all across this country of not believing victims, not properly investigating, and not processing rape kits, I'm not sure how much stock I put into "no charges so therefore completely innocent". And most of that is on regular civilian rapes. When a top athlete in a small college town is involved, they're even more incentivized to sweep it under the rug. That is what hurt Araiza. SDSU and the local police originally swept the whole thing under the rug because SDSU was about to get a bid to join the PAC-12, and they didnt want to hurt the chances with a scandal. So they just ignored her claims. Had they properly investigated it at the time, they could have cleared Araiza and then it all goes away. Sounds like more was done here in the Hairston case, which is good. And most of the stuff is public record now so easier to make a determination. But in general, "the cops didnt press charges" doesnt mean much when it comes to star athlete assaults.
  10. Tomlin at 5 is a complete joke. 0-5 in playoffs the past 8 seasons.
  11. I didn’t quote you because I don’t believe you are interested in a real discussion outside of “I have faith in McDermott.” good for you but makes discussion useless.
  12. This is what you got from what I said? There are different levels of elite. Both Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers were elite....who was the level above? But to respond to your statement, the vast majority of Super Bowls are won by elite franchise QB's.
  13. So if a tractor trailer rearends you while you're stopped at a redlight doing 60 and puts you in a wheelchair for life thats a money grab? Makes sense to me.
  14. I don’t know what he’s saying, but I’m saying QB Brady > Old Man Belichick.
  15. I love the OP's confidence. His realistic prediction is we get to the SB. His optimistic prediction is we win it. My optimistic hope is we win but my realistic prediction is that we sadly bow out in the playoffs again. I'm not convinced were the best team in the AFC though I do think this team's roster may prove better than last year's. We'll see.
  16. Aaron Hernandez is smiling in Hades over this....
  17. So I have zero idea of the facts of this case. But let's pretend for a minute that you were sexually assaulted by a guy and the criminal justice system let you down. Isn't this EXACTLY how you would go about getting justice? Maybe not, but for a lot of people this is actually a pretty logical step. You can't get the criminal system to help, use the civil system. Again, I have zero clue if anything happened, just pointing out that there could actually be logic to this approach. As an aside, he better be good, otherwise why bother drafting someone with any baggage like this?
  18. If he was guilty the Cleveland Browns would have drafted him well before the Bills This make him innocent
  19. Beane and Hairston addressed it in interviews post draft. There wasn't a lot of chatter pre draft about it, but Joe Marino from Locked On Bills mentioned he heard of some SA allegations connected to Hairston and that was one thing to look at. He mentioned that pre draft and that was the earliest I heard about it.
  20. My source says JA17 to miami for Weber, Ennis, and a 3rd
  21. So you’re saying that having an elite QB matters way more to compete for Super Bowls than the coach lol
  22. That's what I meant. Writer her the check and end it.
  23. Also worth noting that she filed a police report back when Hairston was just a visiting college freshman, not a 1st round pick, which counters the notion that this has just been a big money grab. There is an increasingly common double standard that is happening with these cases on social media, where some of the same people saying "innocent until proven guilty" are quick to immediately pronounce the girl as a lying money grabber. Filing a false report is in fact also a crime so innocent until proven guilty applies in her case as well.
  24. I'm not sure who "this board" is. There are a lot of 'agnostics' on this board and I'm one of them. I wasn't there and don't know what happened. But in the Araiza situation, I was bothered by the rush to judgment by some and posted here about the Brian Banks story. Like others on this board, I acknowledge that sexual assault happens far too often in America. And like others on this board, I know sometimes false sexual assault accusations are filed - maybe about 2% to 7% of accusations are false according to various studies. Given that no charges were filed and I believe in the presumption of innocence, I'm willing to give Max the benefit of the doubt. But I won't throw stones at the woman because I don't know her or what truly happened.
