I admit Ed Oliver is growing on me. Not eloquent, but direct and authentic. The answer on his maturity is unusal but does give you the simple straight thinking he has on the subject. And I do like his view on facing the Jets running attack this week: a second shot at it.

The problem is that the internet isn’t real life. There’s no accountability or transparency, it’s “telephone tough guy” energy taken to another level. For younger generations who grew up immersed in it, the noise may feel as real as the hand in front of their face. But for most of us, it’s obvious what it really is, spectacle and clicks. That’s why it’s important not to feed into it. Don’t give the outrage machine what it wants. Real life still runs on respect and personal connection, not likes and retweets.
