  1. Past hour
  2. Except in Cook's situation he may not be able to improve his stats, so why bother? His FA market right now is higher than what the Bills intend to pay.
  3. Mostly a few guys on defense. If the offense holds serve from last year I’d say one corner needs to surprise, Rousseau needs a bigger year and any 2 of the draft picks or free agents up on the defensive line
  4. Didn’t the Bills add a new assistant DL coach who specializes in the pass rush? This could help Solomon’s development as well. I look forward to seeing his second season.
  5. It’s a really odd contract the Bills signed here. All veteran salaries are guaranteed for that year if they are on day 1 roster. Having his 1 year contact guaranteed is basically him and agent hedging their bets that he will not be healthy enough to even be on the NFL season opening roster.
  6. I think Dem leaders just assumed they could use full stroke victim Fetterman as an empty vessel for his entire term like they did with Biden They didn't count on this at all.
  7. Anything more than $10M/year and I’m out.
  8. I’m in the sign him camp to somewhere south of Henry’s contract. He is a key cog in the offense.
  9. It's not that different than what Benford, Groot, Shakir, Oliver, Knox, T. Johnson, and Bernard had to weigh. Do you bet on yourself for a year or take the sure thing right now? He's not going to hold out Le'Veon Bell style because every GM in the league sees how that contract went for the Jets.
  10. Makes sense if someone started dating my wife, I too would likely no longer be friends with them
  11. Carmen Keigans
  12. Over under on number of redunandat Cook threads @Simon will have to close between now and week one of the regular season has been set at 13. Bets can be placed via Venmo with Simon via DM.
  13. Chubb's done. Cleveland fans adore the guy and the Browns would've brought him back if he wasn't washed after those injuries.
  14. Should have signed chubb
  15. Ralph is cheap
  16. Think about how far gone you are TBD Democrats …. Aligned with the worst politicians in America in California. Everyone sees what’s going on - you keep listening to and obeying the equivalent of North Korean media
  17. Solomon might be better suited to see the field in an odd-front OLB role or more of a wide-9 alignment. The learning curve would be a lot flatter for him. Our system/coaches greatly prefer long, stout, 3-down types. Solomon IS actually super long-armed, but he obviously ain't tall for the position.
  18. This isn't a true statement. It's just not how you would have handled it. The brother thing is also incredibly overplayed. JJ Watt, pulled for TJ Watt to get paid, is that terrible? Same with the Kelce brothers, are they "terrible teammates" as well? Too many people are taking this too personally - it's business, and he and his representation made a business decision (one that many players have used in the past)
  19. The political right in the U.S. often aligns with Christian conservative values promoting policies on issues like abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, and education that reflect those beliefs. This can feel exclusionary to people of different faiths or none at all, especially when those religious values influence laws. The political left, on the other hand, tends to champion secularism and individual rights, which often conflicts with traditional religious doctrines. For devout believers, progressive policies on issues like gender, sexuality, or end-of-life rights can seem like a violation of their moral framework. Both groups feel values of the other party are being "forced" on them. Both sides often use government power to enforce their vision of morality. Both groups behave the exact same way. They will never like each other. Religion has been causing wars and tension for thousands of years. Go figure it still does so in the US within our political system.
  20. I can’t even pretend to understand our deranged tarheel anymore. As for new US citizens: if you haven’t done so, watch a naturalization ceremony. I promise you will see tears of joy and true love for what America still means to the world. And guess what? Many, many came in illegally or overstayed their visas. We are a generous and forgiving country.
  21. Please feel free to use any of the other multiple James Cook threads on the front page.
  22. If it hasn’t already been posted elsewhere, seems as good a place as any to post this then 😂🤯😂: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/drake-maye-stefon-diggs-seems-like-an-awesome-teammate
