  1. Past hour
  2. Uh, yeah, that's what "deferred action" means. It's kicking your deportation down the road a couple of years as a matter of discretion. He had 14 years (renewed his deferment six times, that means) to get his ***** together and get out on his own.
  3. Cinci has a bad reputation w signing their players. I think they did overpay Tee Higgins who is a good but certainly not great WR. I would have given the money to Hendrickson instead. As for the Saints, they were always good w Brees and Payton. Their front offense never got much press as it really should be. I have no idea if Shough will be good or not as a pro. I watch a lot of college football. But I know the teams more than the players because I like to bet on college games. I know Louisville always can score a lot and give up a lot of points. The Louisville-Miami game last year was one of the most entertaining of the season. it’s the slow time of the sports year. I guess something needs to be talked about in the 24/7/365 football world.
  4. You'll find this exact reasoning in several medical journals. Gay race communists have captured all of our formerly elite institutions.
  5. I think the opposite too, though barring one really lax fumble though Lamar wasn't the reason the Ravens lost the most recent playoff game. The first time we beat them in the playoffs, even in weather and in a low scorer I thought on the night the Bills had a clear QB advantage. I thought it was closer this last time. Lamar was the reason the Ravens were in it at the end. John Harbaugh is one of three coaches I'd immediately trade McDermott for straight up. Reid. McVay. John Harbaugh. There is then a small batch of coaches that I wouldn't trade McDermott for but that I also wouldn't trade the other way if I was the GM of the other team: Payton, Shanahan, O'Connell and probably Dan Campbell. Everyone else it is a simple choice for me. Sirianni is probably the most controversial here as he just won a Superbowl but what the last three years tells us is he is as good as his coordinators. Steichen and Gannon = makes Superbowl; Johnson and Desai = step back; Fangio and Moore = wins Superbowl. And Roseman hired Fangio and Moore last offseason so he doesn't even get credit for the hires. I think Howie is a way big factor in their success.
  6. @JDHillFan What are you rolling your eyes at? Military missions are gambles, maybe they work, maybe they don't. In 1999 Yugoslav forces tricked NATO into bombing fake targets. Deception is a major part of war
  7. Bob Kraft has by and large been a good NFL owner and has run a stable organization for two decades. Even pre-Brady, Kraft has been in the SB. They may be sticking a bit to get grounded, but he gets a little extra rope because, well, he hasn't had the worst run as an owner in the history of the NHL. The Pegula Sabres are arguably one of the worst runs by an owner in all of sports ownership history. No dude, they are totally the same. John Tavares, the current HC, and maybe the greatest NLL player ever, is currently a HS math teacher in Mississauga as well. So yeah, NHL, NFL, NLL. Tomato Tomato. And again, Pegula has never been to one single Bandits Championship game.
  8. Remember the time he sued his Mom?
  9. You got bamboozled. its not unheard of around the league. It’s in a lot of contracts. It just hasn’t been in the BENGALS.
  10. If the intelligence was correct. If the intelligence was timely. If they were not fooled by misinformation. You can't see underground. It's lke dropping depth charges on a submarine without sonar. The main compound could of literally been miles away underground, and unlike with a submarine, no debris will float to the surface. If the US had real actionable intelligence about exactly where the bombs should go, they probably smashed up the place real good. But if this was guess work, who knows.
  11. Have you ever wondered if they get frustrated with their heavenly vantage point showing the top of everyone's heads?
  12. Not really a Dylan fan generally, but this whole album is A-1 heartbreak material
  13. He’d take one look at Josh’s contract and die again.
  14. It's an interesting question. I sometimes wonder how Ralph would feel about about Pegula's exploitation of child labor... specifically the drafting of Tremaine Edmunds at the age of 15.
  15. It doesn't matter how long ago it was. The fact is Harbaugh has won a Super Bowl. That goes a long way in these rankings. Tomlin hasn't won a Super Bowl in a long time as well, but these "experts" consider him of the best coaches in the league because he has won one along with never having a losing season.
  16. Are you seriously asking why Terry’s results in professional leagues matters more than rec leagues?
  17. Fifteen years to develop these bombs specifically designed to take out Fordow. The life work of so many engineers and scientists that worked flawlessly and yet fake news media tried to wave it all away because TDS. Caine is going through a detailed account of the mission:
  18. Thanks for the correction.
  19. Do you consider Lamar better than Josh? I like Lamar a lot, and I think he’s a force, but I think he’s got some real Achilles heel type stuff that holds him back compared to Josh. so I don’t personally think the Ravens have ever played the bills in the playoffs with a QB advantage. I think the opposite. Don’t you?
  20. Would Ralph give Sean and Brandon the same power to run the franchise that Terry did. I thought Ralph was an owner who was involved in the day-to-day operations of the club until his health started to become an issue, and then Russ Brandon had to be the acting "owner" of the franchise.
  21. I think that there’s something to my speculation. You are correct that WNY is big enough to support both the Bills and Sabres. And that the Sabres’ longtime ineptitude has worn away loyalty and sapped any enthusiasm. That’s a big part of the problem. But what I’m talking about is the bet the Pegula’s would have to make on turning the Sabres around - and the possible financial outcomes. It reminds me a lot of what happened in Cleveland in 1995. The Browns were on their way out of town and the Cavs were terrible. Indians owner, Dick Jacobs, saw an opportunity. He had a beautiful new stadium, some good homegrown talent and Cleveland had a huge hole in the sports market. So he took a chance and spent large on filling out his roster. The Indians went from being ann perpetually inept team and drawing a few thousand fans every game to an MLB powerhouse that drew celebrities to the city and sold out 455 straight games. But Jacobs said he would not have tried it all if the Browns had stayed and been competitive. There just wasn’t room in the market. It would be one thing if the Sabres had stayed a competent and competitive team. They’d have a fan base that was engaged and spending money at games. But they’re nowhere close. They would really have to do something to convince the fans to come back and spend. That would mean investing large early and in continuation to have a chance to be good enough to bring back fans. That’s a big dollar gamble with no certainty of a payout. If you are Pegula, why take that gamble now? When you’re also selling PSLs to the same fan base? When you’re pouring cash into the Bills team and stadium? When the fans are already spending on the Bills? you can’t tell me that if the Sabres were as good as the Bills that many fans would not have to make a choice between which one to get season tickets for or that games attended for one would not impact games attended for the other. It would for many. So why take a very large gamble on the Sabres now instead of when the payout would be bigger?
  22. The strike team was able to get in and out without any counter response from Iran. So either they didn’t know the strike was coming or they just let it happen. Which do you think is more plausible?
  23. Lamar is a two time MVP. Just to be clear.
  24. Peterka immediately signs an extension in Utah - $7.7M x 5. Doan makes $925k Kesselring makes $1.4m Sure looks like this was yet another money saving move to me. I also wonder if they were worried about a potential offer sheet with lots of up front bonus money that Pegula probably wouldn’t be willing to match. Remember Kevyn Adams telling us for years how he couldn’t spend to the cap because he needed money to pay his upcoming RFA’s starting this season? LMAO The only RFA due for a real pay day was just traded away. Who else? Quinn?(lol) Mittelstadt was traded instead of being payed, and the guy he was traded for (Byram) is also about to be traded away now they he is due to be paid. Levi will just get a qualifying offer McLeod has earned a pay day but it won’t be $7+ M top 6 forward money like JJP. More of a “good 3rd liner” type money. anyway… Doan looks to be a bottom 6 type forward prospect with some snarl to his game. The Sabres can definitely use him. And Kesselring was #6 in ice time among Utah defenseman. He does have very good analytics and will hopefully be a good partner for Power. I do really like kesselring, just not at this price.
