Yes I was exaggerating when I stated everyone wants him gone. But there were certainly a number of threads about him and seemed as soon as one thread would fall off the first page or so, a new one would start up. The point is still valid in that a large number of posters think their evaluation of a player after one or two years is gospel and they are smarter about these things than the people who do this for a living. This isn't about criticism, this is about people who here all think they are the smartest guy in the room when in reality we're all pretty stupid about these things, but some will go to great lengths to prove they are right. And yes I totally agree with you about half of first round picks don't get a 2nd contract so if you claim every player sucks, you'd be right much more than being wrong. So it's easy to look smart and say this play won't succeed. Does that mean the front office folks are dumber than the posters here. And if they don't know, then how can anyone here know more? Reading your responses here and how much you seem to be taking issue with this, I can't help but think of that quote from very long ago : "The lady doth protest too much, methinks"

Until they tackle industrial farming and meat production these are small changes. I want to see way more from this guy.

That's almost always the question. We can structure a contract with heavier cap hits late in the term. I happens all the time, but it's interesting that when it comes to Cook, i don't hear anyone brining I that approach to the contract.

I honestly agree. But I would make the pitchers wear a hard helmet. A roided up slugger is going to hit missiles at 90 feet. These hitters are even better.

Ravens, eagles and Bills have the best 3 rosters in football. Eagles are the only one of the above that doesn’t choose come playoff team. fortunately, ravens are really subpar in playoffs compared to buffalo.

Think back to the 90s. Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi, all players who juiced, and most of us were on the edge of our seats waiting for the bomb into the stands (or McCovey Cove) that was about to happen. What if baseball allowed players to juice legally? There would be homerun battles year after year. Imagine Ohtani and Judge hitting 70 plus HR's a year, or more! Think baseball fans wouldn't go nuts over that? Something to at least have some fun discussing.

No chance. Some of you really undervalue what it takes to be an NBA player. Randy Moss was a great athlete, no doubt, but he wasn’t NBA material. He likely could’ve played division 1 somewhere, but not as a starter on an ACC team. To put it into context, Moss is barely bigger than Steph Curry. Barely. He’s a little guy on the hardwood. At his size he’d have to play the 1 or the 2 but he doesn’t have skills for either of those positions. He dominated high school basketball because of his athletic ability, dunking over smaller kids, but division 1 is a whole ‘nother animal, and the NBA is an entirely different one on top of that… Why Randy Moss chose football
