There are more white people in poverty than black people and yet the white people still aren't anywhere near as violent. The issue is that white people are getting targeted and if we bring that up, we're racist. Half of the Jewish people were killed just 80 years ago. Literally oppressed and killed. What happened since? Richest subculture in the world. Koreans didn't start coming to the US until the 80's. They are one of the richest subcultures in the US now. The Irish were slaves here. The Chinese were slaves here. The US has wealthiest black culture in the WORLD. No other country has more black millionaires. Blacks account for 8% of the total millionaire population in the US and they are only 13% of the population. Per capita that is incredibly HIGH. Yeah, if you're black, you can't make money.

Yeah I agree. This was no rookie. It was a well-planned operation. I hope the person is caught and brought to swift justice. Let them rot in prison for the rest of their natural life. I have no idea how big the blue sky thing is. This website is the extent of my social media involvement. My point remains - there’s jerks on both sides. I agree it’s sad. And it has to stop or this country is going to fracture. -

I know Mahomes fans are gonna say that Mahomes probably would have the record had he played more than 1 game his rookie year. But if you total Mahomes TD's from 2018 (his first year as a starter) to 2024 (7 seasons) and you total Josh's total TD's in that same 7 season stretch then Josh has 1 more total TD in that timeframe (260 for Josh and 259 for Mahomes). And both have played a comparable amount of games. So despite Josh's 2018 being very up and down and 2019 being a growing year he's still putting up more TD's than Mahomes in that same time frame...

A few Random Thoughts After the Ravens Game
ngbills replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would be 99% sure that in film or even on the sidelines Babich asked why he would still try that blitz and tell him he should have dropped into coverage. NFL players have played a ton of snaps. I doubt this is the first time there was a quick snap when a guy was disguising a blitz and had to abandon the blitz. If not we would see this every Sunday. I can’t think of a game I saw a guy blitzing from that deep. -
exactly my thoughts... and literally, he could go saftey, DT or even corner depending how the injuries are panning out... but bottom line is he isnt gonna stand long for this... I would also say the players know this restructure happened... they have been served notice.

How big is the segment? One can say the same thing about J6. A segment of the population that votes right supported that. So how about this - we all tone it down and stop painting with a broad brush. We either use this heinous act as an inflection point to all be better, or we let it amplify the vitriol and deepen the divides. The choice is ours. -
Game Week thread - Bills at Jets
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like the ravens offense was a much taller order to stop this time…we like to play a lot of man against them so the motions and such don’t cause personnel mismatches in the running game. Zay flowers and Deandre Hopkins are way harder to man up than anyone they had in the playoff game and maybe Hairston over strong would’ve made a big difference there too. when you’re manning everyone up with a single high safety or doing some cover 0 stuff if Henry breaks the second level he’s gone so it’s very boom or bust. Boom or bust against the ravens is probably fine though as you’d prefer a quick score to them picking up 5 yards a carry and just killing all the clock. People are saying it’s same old mcd based on the result but it really is kinda the opposite philosophy than what we normally see from him against other teams imo lol i know people are seein fields/hall as a ravens lite but I think the defensive approach is gonna be entirely different. Against someone like fields you want to make him grind out drives packers really are good but it’s kinda under the radar because two of the teams in their division were insanely good last year…they had 11 wins last year despite losing every close division game. One of them Jordan love got knocked out of. I think the Vikings and lions got worse so it’ll probably be a little more clear the packers are good this time -

The condition of a neighborhood, or the amount of money in your home is simply a condition of the problem. The root cause is the destruction of the American family, and American family values. The liberal ideas of the late 1960's and 1970's started the destruction of our society. Worship of self, no reverence for God or country. Do what feels good, free love etc. The hedonism of the 60's and 70's, led to crime, disease and drug epidemics in the 1980's. What we have now is the product of our country moving away from family values. The wages of sin is death. But instead of moving back towards family values, reverence for life, and making a choice to not sin despite it being inherent to our being, we tell people that sin is ok, you have to be yourself afterall. Your emotions lie to you. Which is why its essential to be in control of them. -

Ed Anzalone was a NYC Firefighter, his Harlem Unit was deployed to the World Trade Center 24 years ago today. That “D-bag”, as you so eloquently put it, ran into hell to rescue others. What he, other Firefighters and Police did that day, far outweighs any trophies or titles. -
Given how "funky" week 1's are since they shortened off-season activities and the pre-season being shorter I think week 1 games and to a lesser extend week 2 can be written off as teams shaking off rust. The Saints last year started out 2-0 and looked like world beaters and they quickly came down to Earth. 40 points even with the clutch effort to close the game is not a good look for McD and the defense. But there's just not too much stock you can put into week 1 against an elite offense. I think the real test is going to be how does this team handle better offense in the regular season and how does McD adjust in the likely playoff rematch? Last year I thought McD coached a good game against the Ravens in the playoffs. He worked around the defenses limitations well. This year they attempted in the off-season to address those limitations in the draft and in free agency we will see how that plays out.

I would add the Ravens as well. In the big picture as far as the AFC goes the Chiefs and Ravens are at the top. Watch out for the Broncos and Chargers. I could see these teams starting to become a factor in the AFC playoff picture.

Boston University College Republicans in a letter to their president: “At BU, conservative students have long been marginalized, silenced by fear of social intimidation, academic penalty, or hostility. Many of our members feel they cannot openly affiliate with the College Republicans, and those who do are often met with slurs and false labels. Rather than fostering intellectual diversity, the university has allowed a single ideological perspective to dominate, leaving students of differing opinion isolated.” “The celebration of Mr. Kirk’s death on platforms like YikYak and Reddit, including by individuals within the BU community, reveals how dangerous this environment has become.” -
