  1. Past hour
  2. Someone from the media should ask him about Daboll. McDermott’s response will be telling. He could say, “no, Joe Brady is our OC and I trust that he’ll get things figured out.” Or he could say “I don’t really want to get into that right now” or “no I haven’t thought about that yet.” if he says something closer to the latter I think there’s a chance Daboll returns. Hopefully someone words their question intentionally
  3. Weird year for the Bills. Beat the Ravens and Chiefs, lose to the bottom dwellers. Critical game, but we typically respond well in these situations, so I think we bounce back. Go Bills!
  4. he's had more success than marrone, though. and he could go to college and be top 3 coordinator immediately.
  5. What McDermott doesn't get is that an interception here and there, particularly on longer throws, doesn't matter if the offense is keeping the defense on its heels. He built a defense that works best when the other team is behind and has to throw, and paired it with an offense that doesn't complement that strategy in any way. But we're talking about the same guy who thinks that the best offense for Josh Allen is one made for Chad Pennington.
  6. Lol. Yes. Assuming we even get there expect that to show up. We’re going to get blown out in a wildcard game.
  7. Looks like they're digging their own grave.☠️
  8. I think Flacco is the better qb so that could make the game easier for us!
  9. Allen had an average of 3.5 seconds to throw on Sunday. The line was far from "absolutely terrible".
  10. Well said. We have made some questionable moves that has led to us not having as much top end talent. But it is a very mid AFC and very open for the taking. I just worry our flaws that hold us back (lack of receiving talent, defense, coaching) will show up again in the playoffs.
  11. About as hard as Ryan Day's job now.
  12. Allen very recently, like a week or two ago, talked about how Dabs would light him up when he started getting wild out there, so Josh acknowledges what Daboll did for him.
  13. But how much could Daboll do with the WRs we have? Also, one big criticism of Daboll was that he didn't run it enough. If we can get him here as an sr. offensive guy for this year.
  14. This means nothing until McD reviews all of the tape and the FO tells me how i should feel about it.
  15. Hey whatever gets him back. I'm good.
  16. It’s not the OL. Josh is not getting rid of the football - likely because his receivers aren’t open and when they are he doesn’t trust them. Josh was pressured 17 times yesterday. His average time to throw was as high as it’s been since 2018. He’s either not seeing answers or he doesn’t have answers
  17. Just a thought, should the Bills ask Amari Cooper if he wants to return?
  18. Fair but they also talk about Saban being a coach willing to adjust and change with the times too. Honest question, was being a Bama OC under Saban with those rosters really a hard job?
  19. When the offense can't scheme guys open, and pretends it's the 1960s with its 3 TE sets, obvious passing situations become 10x harder. I'd expect more sacks as we play better defenses down the stretch. The instinct is to blame Brady, and he deserves a share of it in spades, but this whole philosophy comes from the top. McDermott loves this *****.
  20. tecmo joe cant deviate from his play chart
  21. Would not want to see that
  22. I’m not the biggest Daboll fan but that’s really unfair. Allen became a better player in the nfl than he was in the mountains west. He got the same OC for 4 years, which never happens. Allen wasn’t close to this player his first 2 years. Daboll took a raw talent and helped mold him into a MVP. He deserves credit for that. The rest of his resume is meh.
  23. This is a good point....it's the energy and swagger that he brought to the Offense that is what is missing. I'm not a fan of Diggs, but he brought that as well.....the Bills need an "emotional leader" on both sides of the ball for sure.
  24. Bama was a ground/pound with game manager QB and play defense school. That's how they won Saban's first few Nattys. Until halftime of the UGA game when Daboll talked him into handing the reins to Daboll/Tua, and they opened it up a high powered passing game, and the rest is history. None of the stuff Kiffin, Sark, etc did happens without Daboll pushing Saban into passing, and then pulling it off.
  25. Because if an owner held every coach “accountable” for not winning a Super Bowl, the turnover rate would 90% ever season. Beane and McDermott have been very successful in Buffalo. Ultimately they never made it to the SB. That’s the same case for every team since 2018, with the exception of one season.
  26. Which would probably be what the doctor ordered for McDermott to loosen up a little. I'm all for it at this point.
