Walt is not an "analyst". If he is, I am. -
Actually FAR more the way team jump around. The fact is, if the 4-5 teams in front of you love their guy, it’s probably not prudent to pay them what it would take to get them to move. IF they are willing to move at all. We were never moving up 20+ slots. We were working in a relatively small closet of a few spots, and on a clock. I wasn't in the room.

This might be news to you - Germany lost that war. Do you prefer the killing go on for a while longer? -

Anytime someone says they can find a RB as good as Cook "easily and cheaply" tells me they play too much Madden -

Apart from when Russia (again) annexed Crimea in 2014 when was the last time a Europran country gained territory by being an aggressor? Pre World War II. This might be news for you and Taco; Germany was not awarded territory for being the aggressor in WWII. I do not think a step back to the 19th century is a good step. But each and everyone is allowed their own opinion. -
When has he proven that? He also got over 64% of his production in the slot. His production split was more like 70/30. It is beyond any level of reasonable doubt that he is a slot. If people want to argue that he is a big upgrade on Shakir and therefore worth the investment, fine. I'll listen to that. I do think his is a tier of slot above Shakir. But my feeling at the time and still now was the Bills dhould strive for an upgrade out wide.

Has anyone had that Pittsford Farms Dairy from Hard Knocks?
todd replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep, I remember going to Hicks when I was in grade school at St. Louis. It was like a Norman Rockwell painting of a 50s ice cream shop. Used to love walking to Bill Wahl’s for ice cream, too. That was where the Pittsford Pub / JoJos is now. That’s been gone even longer. -

O'Hare airport approach waypoints and the 1985 Chicago Bears
zow2 replied to Low Positive's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cool factoids. I have nothing to add to the waypoints but I did land at O'hare on a United flight last week. We landed on runway 9L which is the northernmost runway away from everything. We proceeded to taxi for a bit to a holding pad (because our gate was still occupied which is very common at ORD). We sat there for 25 mins, then proceeded to taxi around the entire northern taxiway system back and forth, following dozens of other planes until we got to the gate. The pilot got on the intercom and joked about the scenic taxiway tour. From the time our wheels touched down until we parked at the gate it was easily 1 hour 10 mins extra. Makes you appreciate BUF. -

Dont get me wrong, I am with you on BTJ, was all over BTJ in that draft was hoping for a trade up as well as I knew the big 3 were not realistic. But as much as I liked him, he did still have some question marks. I had him as WR4 and Ladd as WR5 going into that draft, I was high on both, but I also liked Keon who I had just behind them. But there is a lot more that goes into those decisions to trade up/down or not at all. And in that draft, we were without a 3rd, just moved off some long term starters, vets and leaders on the team do to age and cap. The Bills were in a mini-retool year, and the FO even said as much. So entering that draft they were looking to maximize their picks and try and get back some as well. So its not so cut and dry to come back later and say "they should have traded up for this guy", not to mention, you need a willing trade partner to agree on a trade, and one you are good with too. And when we got Kincaid the Bills tried to trade up with the Charges who started the WR run, but they were set on Q and were not interested in moving back. And the belief was they were after Addison, so for all we know they did try and get a WR but settled for Kincaid when their guy was gone and moved up to assured themselves they got him. So its not so easy or always so cut and dry to say they should have done this or that either -
I didn't see this posted, Bills sign Safety Tre Herndon

How will we afford to re-sign McGovern now?
